PMDG 777

Good afternoon, on this very hot afternoon I installed the new SP1 and wanted to test it prior the buy of the 300ER. But I had to recognize that I have a frames decrease on airports where I had no problem prior the SP1 release. I did not change anything as I spend my time away (holiday). For example at LOWW from FlyTampa I've had never any problems while flying the 200LR from Austrian or Emirates. Now I'm getting around 20fps and sometimes some light stutters. in the pmdg 777 is there any way to reset the vnav data after enter a new route while crusing because when I did that I lost the vnav data and fmc eror "perf/vnav unavailable"

OK after loading the 777 and having it loaded for around 20 minutes, I lose mouse functionality in the initial view. Until then - clicks and middle wheel function and manipulate the sim without issue. I am using EzDok but do not have this issue in other PMDG aircraft. This issue arose after installing SP1. Note I have not yet purchased the 777-300 version. What is odd is that I cannot change anything on the MCP for example using the mouse. But if I move to my MCP view using EzDok then my mouse works and I can change HDG, etc. It does not matter what view I am in - I can make changes. But if I navigate back to the original "pilot" view - no mouse. I am th…

Hello: I have followed the steps on "WX Radar Troubleshooting" page. I have checked the dll.xml, I have done as froogle, I have tried so many things...but WX Radar not showing. I add a image of what I see. During a storm!! ASN is last version, PMDG obsiously in SP1. And here is the pic:

Just want to check in and see if anyone else has reported the same condition since installing SP1 for the 777-200LR. Each time I initially load the 777-200LR at any airport (default of 3rd party), my frames and smoothness suffer for a period of around 2-3 minutes. After that period of time elapses, everything goes back to normal in terms of frames and smoothness and no stuttering. This has only happened since installing SP1. This is a dedicated FSX machine, and I have not installed any other software or made any changes to FSX or the PC prior to, or since installing SP1. For those who have purchased the 737NGX and J41 but not the T7, is there a way to obtain the OC without buying the T7?

Hi guys, does anyone else experince something like this when ending a flight with any 777 Sp1? The main menu moved into the right lower corner. I am having this since installing SP1 and flying a leg for some hours.

Hey guys! just a question i've been flying the 777-300 for nearly 2 hours and when i was about too decent and i took off auto pilot the joystick and throttle and some stuff did not respond too anyhing.... any suggestions what it can be? ....

I've got to say that I have been flying in FS for many years and never been worried, however the PMDG 777 has made me a more nervous flyer then ever. It's not the systems or the size, it's the VAS issue. I know that it is not the only add-on my system that is a memory hog and I'm not blaming PMDG or the 777 as it is just the way simming is going, To have top quality add-ons then you have to sacrifice things. It's the biggest, most complex aircraft I have, only it's the only one that I have to worry about. I have think I have the VAS problem under control but I still seem to fly with one ear open for the dreaded bing, I worry that I might taxi too close to some lar…

Hi! I can observe sudden cloud changes using ASN and PMDG 777 SP1. The ASN option "Auto load flight simulator plan" is enabled. The PMDG 777 is configured to write the flight plan and to load it to the fsx. In general this option works great. In addition, the flightplan is automatically written and loaded to the fsx at every waypoint - I guess this happens intentinally. You can see this behavior by flying in window mode and observing the timestamps of the related files simultaniously. ASN correctly generates a new weather file and injects the "new" wethear - but unfortunately without the smooth cloud transition. :-((( Does anybody know a work-around (e…

Hi, I installed SP1 for 777. Before that 777 worked perfectly (at least I never noticed any issue). After SP1, while programming the FMC, FSX crashes, always when pressing a button (clicking on it), but not always at the same screen (can be PERF INIT, or any other menu). Message window: Microsoft Flight Simulator has stopped working I use FSX Acceleration, Orbx FTX Global, UTX, AS Next, FSUIPC, EZdok, TrackIR5. Any help would be appreciated. Regards.

Repeatedly having problems at rotation. On reaching Vr, rotation begins, but I then get slammed back down to ground. Only on the 3rd attempt each time am I able to get her to lift off (somewhat undignified though). Flight EGLL-WSSS, with fuel 106471 kgs, ZFW 230038 kgs and ramp weight 336509 kgs, I set my trim at 5.75 (as per PFPX). Flaps 5 and V speeds 174/184/191. Any ideas as to what is wrong? Hi everyone I got the sp1 and purchased the 777-300 so far it works well, but when I plan a flight all is loaded all checks are done on the taxi out I get no taxi light that go's on and also no runway lights that go on to light up the runway all switch are on but no lights all others lights are fine anybody have any info on this I'm running as2012 as a add on any help would be appreciated thanks. Hello, Like the title suggest, after SP1 I lose more FPS with the FMC popup than before SP1. It is a bit annoying since you almost can't taxi with the FMC poped up and looking out of the windows. Anyone experiences this? Thank you

Hi everyone After installing SP1, and running it for one flight, then installing the 300ER, I started getting a fatal error message after exiting FSX. There are no issues with flying the airplane. Everything works beautifully. Once I get the fatal error, it will restart FSX with the default aircraft. I will exit again and it will do so with no problem. I'm running ASN and EZDOK camera. Hey guys Since SP1, i did 3 flights, and on all three, something occured which i've never had before. On approach: ILS, cap Loc, + GS, Vref + 5, barely any winds, flaps 20 as selected. I get the Too low, flaps warning from 500ft. Visually all is well and the landing is smooth and as supposed to be. Just from 500ft till landing it's too low, flaps. Never had this before SP1 and i've done more that 3 flights with that one

Hi all. I use the route request and select EGLLVHHH, its goes through its route uplink and I get the route up on the FMC. I then wait and the PERF uplink comes through, I "Accept" it and then I get a CTD? Any ideas.

I Experienced something strange today,i'm currently on a flight with the triple from HongKong to Toronto/Pearson in fsx. when i set the ND range to 640/320/160/80/40 , my fps is solid on 30;but when i select range 20/10,my fps drops to 10~12. this is happening on enroute,true heading selected and the active route is rte2.

Hi All, This evening I took off from LPPG with full fuel load, I think 145 tonnes or so. After take off I decided to have a little fun and set a Right engine fire. I followed the ECL (awesome detail) all the way through, shut down and secured the engine. All the while on auto pilot. Then set up a hold to fuel dump for return back into Paris. The fuel dumping began and was going to take approx. 1 hr. All going well so far. I had an eicas fuel imbalance message appear after a few mins. No problem as this is due to having only the Left engine burning fuel. Again I followed the ECL, which told me to open the cross bleeds and turn off Left fuel pumps to allow Right fu…

I normally hold the spacebar and move around the mouse to look around the aircraft but for some strange reason when I do this whilst in mid-air, it disconnects the autopilot? I have checked my FSX controls and checked they are normal. Anyone have any ideas? This is an intermittent issue and has only started happening since I got the PMDG 777.

Ryan, Firstly, thanks a bunch for re-engineering a 5.1 sound set for some of us, it is very, very, much appreciated, and the OC is working very well too! My 5.1 observation - rear channels have sound in the virtual cockpit only; rear sound disappears in the external view. My SP1 sequence of events includes completely uninstalling the 772LR, all folders, liveries, as well as all the NGX & JS41 liveries as described in your pre-release instructions (no thanks to Capt. Rob, LOL). I then reinstalled the 772 base pack and the installed SP1. I had stopped there for a while and did not have a chance to use the OC until after it was already updated to v1.10. This …

Is anyone at all getting any kind of main gear touchdown sound? I'm curious to know. Didn't get anything prior to SP1 and nothing now. Nose gear is fine, you can hear that guy hit the tarmac, but the main gear is dead silent. So quiet that by sound alone you would have no idea you had touched down. I've tried sound settings to no avail. Did PMDG miss out a sound file?

Hello all, I get a CTD when using the 200 SP1 Windows event viewer states that PMDG_777X.DLL is the faulting module. Anyone else seeing this? I have already reported performance issues in another thread and since rebuilt my fsx.cfg. I can't seem to upload a screenshot of the issue, it needs a URL apparently.
