Hey guys just wondering if anyone knows whats going on . First off i have engine sound , which is all No sound for - -Buttons and knobs (clicking sound) -No APU sound (Power Up , Running , Shutting down) -No V1,VR,V2 call out sounds -No flap movment , gear sounds Basicaly the only sounds off the A/C is the engines ? Im using beats by dre headphones since no speakers but they worked perfect before SP1/300ER Can anyone please help ? Thank you David Sullivan

Hello Everyone I have been away overseas without a lot of internet coverage and about to return home. I have been eagerly awaiting for the release of SP1 like many others. SP1 was released while I was away and I will get home early next week. I was wondering should I upgrade to SP1 yet as I notice a number of people having freezing/pause issues etc as well as some other minor problems. Are the people having problems in the minority or are they wide spread throughout the user group? I do also note the RSR intends releasing an update early xt week as well. Hopefully that should see those with problems sorted. Tim Carter

Hello, First of all, yes, I used the search function on this forum, and yes, I searched through both FCOM's, the FCTM and the QRH. That said, I still don't have an answer for the following situation: Tonight, I was testing the 777 (using the freighter version). I was all set up for a long flight at high load, but ran into a (programmed...) severe engine failure shortly after liftoff. My first priority was to keep flying the aircraft. No particular problem, despite the alarms and sudden loss of thrust on the left side. Once I got everything under control, I went through the appropriate checklist on the ECL. So far, so good. Hi all, After flying around with the 777-300, 777-200, and SP1 for a few days now, I am noticing that while I am still manually controlling the plane, if my physical controls are all in the neutral position (Saitek Pro Flight Yoke + Pro flight rudder pedals), the yoke in FSX will suddenly turn left completely. This causes the left aileron to come up and right aileron to go down, turning my plane to the left until i move my physical controls to set them aligned again. I don't use FSUIPC for controls, I just have it installed so that other software can connect into FSX. The only addons I have are Active Sky Next, and I occasionally run UT2, though I just inst…

All I have active within fsx is orbx global two add-on airports. A flight 280 miles and OOM as I land, last night it OOM turning final. Fantastic aircraft, until you try to fly from A-B Feel like binning it. Before with the 200 it was "just" OK I would get "dings" as I was stunning down. Now 3 flight RAAS turned of outside model turned OFF. Auto gen set to "normal" The NGX never. not once did I get a OOM, never had a OOM at all until the 777. Anyway......feel very frustrated with it. Better leave it at that.

I have a CH products yoke and since installing sp1 and buying the 300ER, I get this constant left turn input ever time I load the plane that is even visible on the simulated yoke. I calibrate the device and it works fine but the problem comes back after the autopilot has been disconnected. Any ideas? Thanks, Dave

Hi again, problems with 777 sp1 continue... as nice as the improvements are, my experiences with sp1 have been steps backwards.. Before, I flew around the globe with no ctd's, freezes etc. Only couple of OOM's which I think were due to my settings. Yesterday an uncontrollable plane KMEM-EFHK with no reaction to mouse/kb/js inputs... Today I got my first freeze, which lasted about 5 mins (never happened to me before with 777) on flight CYYZ-ESSA. I hope PMDG can sort these things out or I would like to return to SPless situation. Does anyone know if PMDG uses the alpha channel for glossiness? My engines and tail are painted with a carbon fiber texture and I would like to vary the glossiness in conjunction with the pattern to enhance the effect. See below:

Ever since the sp1 update I can't get this thing to work. It asks for my Activation code which has never happen before.When I put in my code I get an invalid error, then it crashes. Same with the 737NGX. I put in a ticket and still waiting on a "fix/reply". So I am reaching out here to see if anyone has this problem and or suggestions that might help get me back in the air.... I'm getting the shakes so I need my 777 fix

SO, I just built a new system, cleans Windows 7, everything. I have a clean install of FSX on a proprietary hard drive, and I have the 737NGX installed and it works fine. I installed the 777-200LRF base pack, opened FSX and activated it. I then installed SP1, and then the -300ER, opened FSX and activated it too. However, nothing in the aircraft works. Systems, displays, knobs, missing gear, no animations, etc. I uninstalled the -300ER, then I uninstalled the 777-200LRF base pack. I proceeded to reinstall the base pack, I opened FSX and loaded the aircraft, to find the same problem. This time I was not prompted to activate. I uninstalled and re-installed again, to…

Been doing a lot of short hops of three or four flights a day. ASN is on a networked computer and setting up for my first flight ASN does not auto load the flight plan. However, it does load for each of the following flights I set up after each landing. Not a major problem as the simple work around I manually load my first flight into ASN just wondered if anyone else has had this happen.

Hi! Unfortunately I have a really ****** problem with my T7F: Whenever I load into an MP session, the aircraft does not start the initialization process which results in an unusable airplane floating above the ground without the gear extended, nothing can be clicked, mouse cursor does not change when hovering over button, it's just totally *******. I tried unregistering using SP and then registering again but that does not work. Could anyone please tell me what the hack is going on? Regards. PS: PMDG 737 insta crashes when I press the JOIN SESSION button.

Hi, The wing tanks have > 52600 lbs and the center has 500 lbs of fuel in it. Both the center tank pumps are OFF, yet the PRESS lights on the left/right pumps appear to be blinking at random. What are the pumps doing? Is it some kind of de-air function? I'm at cruise, FL350. Best regards, Robin.

Hi, I am busy with a flight from OMDB-YPAD and needed ETOPS, I drew the circles on my FIX page and found a drop of 20fps. I wondered what it was as I never had such a drop. I deleted the rings and fps increased to 50fps. Is it suppose to be like that or is it a small problem? Marno Koen

Hi, Loving the 777300 so far but have a couple of issue which may or may not be pilot error! I enabled the 22k sounds but have noticed that the 1000ft to go sound seems to be missing. When calling a jetway, the jetway doesnt line up to the door. When enroute to new York from Paris, I got a high oil temp warning in eng #2 and had to eventually shut it down, there was no fire though. I was flying the majority of the flight on auto cruise at 16x speed. The problem occurred when I was about 10 minutes away from landing, there were no other indications that anything was wrong prior to the engine failure. Good day all, ...so, let's assume you are established on the localizer, maintaining 3000 ft, 180 knots IAS, Flaps 15, 2 miles from intercepting the glideslope and you generally want to execute a manual landing. A/P and A/T ON at this moment, MCP is set to 180 kts, 3000 ft, APP mode ARM, G/S alive, autobrakes set, speedbrakes armed. 1. Is the above situation even appropriate generally for the 77W? This is what I'm normally doing in the sim: 1. Let the A/P to capture the glideslope. 2. Upon capture, decrease speed on MCP to final approach speed +5 kts. 3. I do have ASN and loaded the flight plan and uploaded the datalink and exported also from pfpx (linked to FSX the weather to the WX folder) I loaded the weather into FMC and tried every single possibility (auto, Manual gain, WX, WX +T) but nothing on the screen your help would be appreciated

Hi All, I just did a quick run on the ER and discovers a three issues and hopefully PMDG will be able to have a look at it to make the excellent product to be perfect one. So what I did was just took off from Macau (VMMC) RWY 34 then make an immediate turn climb to 3000ft to join the ILS07L to Hong Kong (HKG), and I actually did it a couple of times in the last two hours to have a look at the handling aspect of the airplane. And here's what I found. 1) Landing Distance The LDW was 240Tons, with Vapp 151kts, Flaps 30, Autobrake 2, idle Reverse. The real Landing distance assessment tool gave me 9230ft/2813m.
