PMDG 777

Has anyone stumbled upon any tool for takeoff and landing calculations?I guess TOPCAT is pretty far away till they make a 777-300 profile.Around the web there was an excel sheet for calculations but that was for the -200 and F series.Also the FCOM is pretty much for reference and not for actual calculations, you can't have a specific result and on top of that the max assumed temp you can calculate by hand is 50C and there are no sections for Flaps 5.If anyone comes across any tool or excel sheet for calculations share it with the community. Hello. When I attempt to change ZFW via the FMC through FS actions -> Payload, I can't change the original number, which is always stuck at around 400.0, even when I have zero fuel weight. There seems to be an invisible weight 'bug' making the ZFW so high. I can't change the ZFW via the payload loader, but my friend can. When I compute a route in PFPX which gives me a ZFW of 194,8, I can't input this weight into the FMC. I get an 'Invalid entry' error when I click the line select key corresponding to the ZFW on the FMC display. I can input fuel without any problem but not payload. Hey guys, I'm enjoying this awesome plane, but I have a problem with nose wheel, when I increase throttle to start moving the plane the nose wheel doesn´t move to the right or left. I change to another plane by example A320 X Aerosoft and the nose wheel move correctly. but this is happening with both 772LR (before install SP1 and 77W work ok !!) and 77W. I have a Microsoft Sidewinder joystick. Help please !!

So okay, I'm all ready to start my engines, normal start, good spoolup, N1 starts decreasing and stabilizes at 22.1 instead of 22.4. EGT immediately moves from 560 down to 476 and stays there. When I throttle up, none of the engines throttle up, they remain in the same old boring 22.1. Previously, in the original release, changing the affinity mask fixed this problem, but now, even with the last working affinity mask 254 it doesn't work. I have tried 255 and 84 too. Help?

Hey there ! I just had a little question regarding the pitch compensation in a turn. The plane does what the manual says, namely when flying level and I bank, the plane trims itself to stay more or less at the same altitude, however when I want to return to a steady and level flight, it does not trim itself back down, therefore the nose pitches up and the plane loses speed. Note that I'm flying without the A/T throttle on. Am I missing something or do I just not understand how this is supposed to work ?

Reading the Supp manual, There is no option either "Off or On" and this is for the Emirates 300ER. Just wondering why I cannot enable ? "The 777-300ER comes standard with an option that allows the APU to feed bleed air to the air-conditioning packs during takeoff so that the engines can develop their full rated thrust without any bleed air being siphoned off. After shutting down to cold and dark normally, with all power (APU, external, and battery) removed, and after the normal battery time-delayed shut down, the whiskey compass light remains powered:

After completing the Before Taxi checklist, and clearing the screen, when recalling the checklist page I expect to see the Before Takeoff checklist but I get the After Takeoff checklist instead. This was repeatable for me. Does anyone else see this?

Hey fellow 777'ers, Ever since they moved the "Where is your 777 now" and the 777 repaint thread to the screenshots forum, I'm not sure how many of you get out to that forum and see what some "retired" painters do when they've been so inspired by a commercial release they tend to paint it more than they fly it. FSDT CYVR plus 300er plus taxi cam = OOM. Just tuned on the cam and bang. It's gimmicky and if you pay attention you really don't need it.

Firstly thanks to PMDG for this fab update..love the Route/Perf Uplink that feature is soo cool. As Pre SP1 the 777 worked fine and all the "main" features are working great too, yet to test with a full flight... Question in RL is the Collins WXR able to pick up WX, if for example parked at gate infront of a terminal building ? would the building not "interrupt" the signals to the WXR ??

Hello, I know this has to do with my real world weather application which is the Rex essentials plus overdrive.. but I don't remember having this issue before SP1. I have been flying the 300ER and the altitude jumps 200-300 feet every now and then, sometimes less, sometimes more. I think it is correcting the altitude for the pressure every time I enter a new area with a new baro setting. I have it set to STD as I am over transition altitde. Why would it still be correcting if I am in STD mode? I took out the weather application and everything was stable so I know it is a conflict with the weather program. Any ideas? Hi all! I bought the 777-300ER today and i was very excitef. Before i bought it i did a flight to England as usual. So i start up my FSX with the 777 installed and i get an "FSX stops to work". I tried again, restarted my computer, didnt work. So i Reinstalled SP1, Removed FSX.cfg file, and repaired FSX via disc. Still getting crashes. What is wrong!?? It was normal before but now i cant launch FSX!! Thanks you guys and hope we can get this solved!' /Jacob

After just purchasing the PMDG 777-300 I set too setting up my joystick button for the doors, many was the same as the 200, however they needed a tweak due to the extra doors.
