C90B King Air HD Series FSX | P3D

Hi guys. I am a little lost in this aircraft, if someone has a tutorial that would be super!! What I am particularly new to is prop mixture and engine control for the C90B.. For taxi I keep rolling forward even on idle, [and feathered prop] Suggestions? Alex

If I purchase this plane from flight1 where do I get the sp2 patch? F1 says it is version 1.0 I want to buy from F1 just in case I don't like it and want to return it.

The main problem I have with this plane is that during takeoff roll, at about 50 KIAS, the plane pulls sharply to the right and rudder control is very touchy. Hard to keep it on the runway. Once airborne all is ok - rudder control is normal. This is the only plane in my fleet that does this. Anyone else experiencing this? I use CH Pro Pedals and CH Flightsim Yoke. All calibrated thru FSUIPC. The FS Realism sliders position don't seem to make a difference. Jim

Evening all, I hope someone might be able to shed some light on a little problem I am having. I am unable to do a DCT TO on the Garmin 400....has anyone else exprierenced this? I typically fly this as a /A (VOR to VOR), but ATC (VATSIM) gave me a DCT TO VOR outside the service volume. When I went to the DCT TO function, it was highlighted but I was unable to select anything....the cursor just kept moving down.....was unable to get any letters. Any ideas? Cheers, Gmac

Hey all- I have an peculiar issue that I can't seem to pin down. While doing some VOR to VOR navigation last night and some approach testing using NAV1 / VLOC mode (thanks FS Instant Approach tool!) and noticed that it's a no go with the RXP v1.6 under VLOC. The CDI recognizes the approach course and indicated the course divation correctly on the EHSI however, the plane will fly right through the course and never joins the course. Keep in mind I have integrated the RXP 430, running c90 SP2 and have the rxp.ini as indicated below. I am leaning towards something wrong the RXP.ini feeding the course information to the NAV 1 / OBS, I just don't know what it wou…

is this incorporated in the latest d/l at simmarket, etc?

The strobes, beacons and navigation lights seem weak to me. After looking at the aircraft.cfg it appears those lights are built into the model and can't be changed. Am I correct in that read? Russ

When the gear lever is moved all sound levels drop almost to zero. There is no gear sound at all, engines just a faint humming. As soon as gear is locked up or down sound returns. Any idea for a fix? It may have started after SP1, but possibly it was SP2. I really like this plane but the sounds leave a bit to be desired (even if Carenado says they are good). Regards to all Neal

from the Kurt Yoda's tuto I can read both the fuel boost-pumps switches are ON from "Before engine starting" c/l until "Shutdown and securing" c/l can anyone confirm this is correct ?

The Avidyne unit is the real FPS killer of this aircraft! Leave it off, run just your 430 or 400 and its every bit as smooth as the Duke. Carenado should do something about replacing this unit. Fantastic aircraft after patching, but this Avidyne has got to go! My FPS nearly doubled when I turned it off.

It seems that after SP2 the dimmer knob is still without effect, although it is adjustable between 0 and 100%. Michael

Hello, I just got the C90 and it seems like there is an issue with the EFIS map? Is this the way it is suppose to look? I took a screenshot of what I see when it is in map mode. ARC and HSI work just fine as far as I know. thanks, Joe

Just added the SP... I seem to have lost the right engine turbine spool up sound.... I hear the starter and ignitors...... but has soon as i move the fuel lever up to low idle the sound goes dead and the turbine sound gradually comes back in about 15 seconds later.... The left engine is fine.... I did the starter fix mod that was posted here prior to the SP... could that be conflicting? I wouldnt think it would....? #####?
