Here is a Marine T-44A at VT-31 NAS Corpus Christi The deicing boot on the vertical stabilizer had to be changed, It only comes down to the antenna as shown. Only took making 6 new layers to do the work of 2 in a normal layered paint kit. I need to find my image of 160844 to see how the deicing boot is on it. Russ

  3. Howdy Guys, I know this has probally been addressed in another post however searching can be very tedious so as my title says is it possible to bring the route up onto the EHSI from the RXP430W. I read something about a 1.6 RealityXP update but not sure if this is out yet and if this does what I want? If Bert or any other gurus out there could let me know if this is possible, and how it would be greatly appreciated!!

This is how 161062 appeared in August of 1981. Since I released 2 in somewhat current schemes I am not sure there is a demand for this. BTW I hate striping compound curves. It shows too. Edit: I just saw a flaw I missed. Oh well back to Photoshop. Russ

  6. Just wondering... ....Has anyone had an issue with the dimmer on the RealityXP 430 not working? I seem to remember the dimmer working pre-SP1, but now it no longer does...my .ini file has dimmer set to on, so I am not sure what the cause if that could be...the unit is displaying abnormally bright and it seems the contrast is off as well.... ...And the size of the unit in the popup window is wrong...the unit shows up almost square in shape; I have been resizing it manually, but I did try to resize it in both the RXP.ini file, as well as the panel config, and nothing seems to work?

As a pilot who always preferred the newer look of aircraft, I was wondering if any talented painter would undertake a re-paint for this bird. Although not completely realistic, i do like the newer C90GT paint schemes. I am treating this a a re-paint for hire, as I will pay for the re-paint. Upon completion Pay-Pal you an agreed upon amount for your service. Attached is the paint I have in mind. The goal is a factory new look, as if the C90 was rolled out of the factory brand spanking new. This means no exhaust discoloring on the engine nacelles and wings, also no wear and tear anywhere. I also prefer Carenados silver exhaust opposed to the heated bronze looking …

Hi Folks. I have the C90B with the SP1 already installed. My problem is that I have yet to complete a flight because, invariably, in the descent to destination when flipping from one view (doesn't matter which) back to VC viw the simulation freezes and eventually I get the "Flightsim has encountered a problem and needs to close" message followed by it closing down. This is the only aircraft it does this on, none of the other default aircraft or third party addons do this. As an aside, I don't think it's anywhere near as good as Aeroworx' offering of the Be200 for FS2004, for what it's worth. Anyone got a similar problem and how was it fixed please. …

I am losing slowly the will to live... help ! I thought I had found a way to swap frequencies yesterday, but this time I can't. It is so unclear and so imprecise, it makes it very difficult to fly properly. Also the PFD suddenly played up, see pic. Any help here is welcome, thanks !

Hi all I just purchased the C90B King Air HD today and overall I am very happy with it. I get no hit in my frame rates, it handles very well and is easy to just hop in and fly. I have, however, found a few problems with it and am unsure as to whether or not they are known issues. I've sent a request to Carenado for assistance. First of all, please see the screenshot below. It shows my C90B following a flight to YBBN with the wheel chocks in place and the cones also in place. Notice that while the wheels sit firmly (and correctly) on the taxiway, the wheel chocks and cones hover above it. Uploaded with ImageShack.us Also, I found that the strobe lights se…

Something I really don't like in all(!) Carenado flightsim addons is the wrong use of the variable 'ui_manufacturer' in the aircraft.cfg. This term should describe the manufacturer of the real plane - here Beechcraft. In other addons it is 'Cessna' or 'Mooney' or 'Piper', but it is NOT 'Carenado'! Therefore is another variable called 'ui_ceratedby'. This is the place for 'Carenado' or even another developer.

The main problem I have with this plane is that during takeoff roll, at about 50 KIAS, the plane pulls sharply to the right and rudder control is very touchy. Hard to keep it on the runway. Once airborne all is ok - rudder control is normal. This is the only plane in my fleet that does this. Anyone else experiencing this? I use CH Pro Pedals and CH Flightsim Yoke. All calibrated thru FSUIPC. The FS Realism sliders position don't seem to make a difference. Jim

  22. Hello All (including Admins) ---- Just a thought but it sure would be great if some of the very nicely done posts here that describe add-on, fix-its, enhancements, etc. that have been posted by some very knowledgeable contributors could be PINNED (made sticky) so that new and veteran forum members could come back and reference them when needed. Members like Bert, who we all know is very knowledgeable about the RXP devices, behaviors and interfaces has done some great work which should be saved and easily locatable. Others have done great enhancements and add-ons as well which should be saved ESPECIALLY if they do not become part of a service pack from Carenado dow…

Hi all. I read the over speed thread http://forum.avsim.n...erspeed-needle/.. However, I've noticed that I get a red box FSX overspeed warning at around 180 on the gauge, regardless of the barber pole position. Anyone else getting this?? It's annoying as hell, as I have all my settings set to "real".. and my first reaction to a red box over speed is to yank up on the yoke, and cut power.. because the "screen of death" follows soon after... and the dreaded reloading of the flight! Is there a quick fix for this?? At least the red box should stay off untill I get at/past the barber pole right? Thanks.

I created a GPU to work with C90 and huge thank you to the brilliance of Doug Dawson who created and share the battery charger dll. so no more depleted battery if you dont have FSUIP4, extended battery life setting or unrealistic aircraft.cfg setting to give you battery life for ever. FSX battery deplete very quickly and if you really take your time with proper start up you would have found that by the time you wnat to start the engines, then your C90 do not have sufficiant power to start the plane current workarounds: - Most use FSUIP4 with setting "Extend battery life indefinately" - Manually add an entry to the FSX plane aircraft.cfg under [ELECTRICAL] sect…
