Having flown my C90 at night a few times I was disappointed with the interior lights being too bright to see good outside on final approach and landing. I was using the rocker switch on the left side of the overhead console. Then if I turned it off, it was obviously to dark to see my gauges. So tonite I found an online C90 A/B training manual (362 pages). Looking through that I discovered a interior light switch I had not known about. So I went back to my C90 and sure enough there is a toggle switch to the left of the co-pilots yoke, and left of the "No Smoking" toggle switch. Hi, I can't seem to get two VORs displayed and handled independently, e. g. putting VOR1 on the Captain's EHSI with its own CRS setting, and putting VOR2 on the FO's HSI with its own CRS setting. What am I missing? Thanks Dave

After the B58 came out, I set this up as my default after shutting everything down,.....then with the B90, I changed the plane to the B90, and now made this the "default"............but am having so problems now with the ATC with the clearance commands.............SO, how do I get FSX to delete this new default so I can start from scratch and THEN select the B90, then shut it down, then set as the new "default"??..........the learning info does not cover this item............many thanks B42L8

... then all hell brakes loose... the plane throws itself in all directions, totally uncontrollable by hand, etc. Had to pause and then stop flight to avoid crashing, very frustrating. Also, I noticed that the G/S was not present on either EHSI or the primary... (This is after SP1, by the way.) Any ideas, please ?

good evening, i ve bought this beautiful plane, but as newbie i didnt found any cockpit description in the manual.and there are so much buttons to click !! its too often now that there is no more description with the manual i ve bought the P46T and it was the same..its not fair... I want to clear one thing up if I may, about this (and other) Carenado releases. The beta testers have been taking a beating here over this aircraft. I see numerous posts that say that this airplane was never tested by RW pilots as claimed, that they missed bug after bug after bug, and basically that they didn't do their job. That is patently unfair and untrue, as I have met Bernt and yeah, he really does fly 767's and has flown Dash 8's (pretty easy for me to tell the latter - I work on Dash 8 equipment and he knows the systems pretty darn good!). If you have successfully completed the Heading and Course Adjust modification, this one is easy.. In the folder you created, open up the EHSI.xml files again with Notepad and search for "22" You'll find several instances of a pair like <FontHeight>22</FontHeight> ......... <Size>100,22</Size> Change these to <FontHeight>26</FontHeight> ......... <Size>100,26</Size> And, if you find the first character of the waypoint cut off in the 3d gauge, search for <Element id="Identv1"> …

Hello, thank God for the SP1. It definitely improves on the pleasure to fly, and thank you to those who submitted temporary solutions,and those who submitted solutions to issues that still have not been corrected. On my first flight today, I noticed two things on approach (KSEA) 1) flew beginning of approach on AP with APPR knob in, got the localiser OK but no G/S 2) As I turned off the AP, to go onto manua,l at about 7mi from touch down the plane became totally unstable, entered uncontrollable yaw and pitch and I could not control the ensuing pitch up even by pushing hard on the wheel. Had to give up before landing to avoid crashing. Any ideas why so, please ?

Just by the nature of what I experienced I'm guessing this is a FSX bug and not Carenados problem but I'm not 100% certain so figured I'd asked. I just did a vor-vor flight from Concrete Municipal To Bowerman.. Flight went well except my missed approach thanks to the non-typical way the AP works. Doh! Taxied to my parking spot, watched a replay and started shutting her down and that's when I noticed the electrical system was all sorts of broken. Flipped the avionics switch off and only the 400/NAV/COMM panels shut off. The EFIS and Avydyne stayed on. The only way they would turn off is turning off the master switch. Even then the landing gear indicator stayed lit gree…

I noticed before the SP came out that on startup, as soon as you move the start switches up that the auto ignition switches move up as well. Did this get fixed? You dont need auto ignitions for start up. Whats with the multiple posts? I only submitted once

I got home early to find that SP/1 has been released for the King Air. It does fix some issues such as the engine 2 start up and the big one for me was the system crashing. So far so good. Numerous other fixes included.

Upon the completion of my first two flights, these are the problems I am having a hard time living with... 1) A/P HDG select knob.... Am I missing a clickspot? Do i really have to look down at the A/P pedistel or use the A/P pop-up everytime I need to adjust the heading. There should be a easy click spot in your line of site... I know this is not a Carenado thing but a limitation of the sim... You cant look down and turn the knob on the pedistel b/c you do not know what you are turning it to. 2) looking out the window, the rivets on the engine nacelle are super unrealistic and borderline ugly....I cant look. 3) Carenado manuals... Greetings all, These were pretty simple... But I had to get back into repainting since making my upgrade from FS9 to FSX. The King Air is amazing. Having had Carenado products before I know the updates they will provide will make this aircraft even better. Anyway. I am uploading a couple of repaints of the King Air. On top of the repaint, I worked on adding more exaust to the nacells. I wanted a Canadian registration. So I took the beige and red version and changed the number. Then added a bank logo to give it more a corporate look for the Royal Bank of Canada. (Honestly, I think if it is a bank corporate aircraft I am thinking they can afford a G6! LOL) I hope to…
