After a few days of tweaking around with .cfg and AMD ATI Drivers, I managed to obtain an acceptable FPS outside the city without too much compromise on the visuals. I recorded this flight between Paris and London with the 737-800. Make sure you watch in 1080p. Addons : FTX Global FS Global 2010 FTX Vector OpenLC Europe REx4 Texture Active Sky Next. Note : Yes its was kinda of not so great landing but after struggling with the ILS approach procedures this week, I was just happy to land the plane in 1 piece. No passenger were harm during the filming of this flight.

I recently upgraded my computer and remember exporting control (yoke etc..) settings, but cannot find the file. Is there another file that I could import or partial contents of a file I could search for?

Hi all - been noticing an issue with some addon scenery whereby the aircraft wheels sit/sink about a foot or so into the ground - runways and taxiways. Sometimes tarmac, sometimes not. It happens with all aircraft so I can generally rule out contact points. Again, not all addon airports but roughly 10-15%. I searched this topic exensively and only just found stuff related to contact points... I figured it was mostly likely the mesh settings but nothing seemed to work. First off, I do not have FSX installed on this system, only p3d v2. I just installed CS 777 for p3d. I have no other add ons installed. Nothing works, I have no l gear. the battery switch wont work, the APU wont start. no screens come on. the VFB will not turn on. I have done a clean uninstall and re install. please help! thank you.

Using P3D2.2 with W-7 Home Premium...I am having trouble with a couple of planes where I get get "overspeed" warnings at speeds below what the stats show to be maximum speed ...I have tried adjusting the maximum speed in the Aircraft.cfg file under the "reference speed" section to no avail....so, what to do?.....alternatately, how to turn off the "overspeed" warning? .....thanks for any help....John H.

Hi Guys, I just purchased the migration tool and i have this problem. Im trying to install Imagine Sim WSSS scenary but it comes without the building and all i see is the runway and light post. Any suggestions on how to do this pls? Thank you Regards

Direct install, pointing to the Prepar3d folder, and it works like a charm, with all the benefits of running it on the much more stable and smooth P3Dv2.2 platform :-) Another one in my hangar - next is the Q400 ;-)

I purchased the 430/530 GNS units for Prepar3D on the 3rd June. Since then I have not been able to purchase a RealNavData database update due to a DB KEY error. I have contacted Mindstar via E-Mail twice but have not had a reply. Perhaps my expectations of a reply within 2 days is somewhat unrealistic for such a large company as Mindstar and while I appreciate that we are the minority, compared to Mindstar's commercial customers, I would still love to get a RealNavData subscription, so that I can use these units correctly. Can anyone tell me how to get a RealNavData subscription when I can't see a DB KEY in the unit in the sim? I appear to be stuck in a horrible lo…

Running Global+Vector+OpenLC. I've run the config tool more times than I can count and these problems persist. Disabling Vector in the scenery library fixes said issues, however, I did pay for Vector so I'd like to use it. Any Ideas? Examples: Vagar Brussels National

Lake Tahoe is another magnificent airport from Orbyx. I purchased and installed it this morning. The casinos at South Lake Tahoe are well depicted as is the shoreline of the lake. One of my favorite seaplane bases (from when I used to fly floats back in the 50s) is Homewood. And when I click on GO TO AIRPORT and enter Homewood (T38) it parks my aircraft right at the dock. CH Products Pedals P3D2.2 I barely move the "toe Brake" on either pedal and the associated wheel brake comes on. When taking off it is all to easy to overcome torque with rudder and at the same time apply a wheel brake. I don't know if this is a defect in my pedals or if there is some adjustment I am not making properly. I have tried the P3D control setting, the FSUIPC controls settings and the CH Products settings manager. There seems to be no setting that requires more than a slight toe brake pressure to set a wheel brake???

I'm installing my computer from windows up and I'm having problems with the Open LC installers. The first time I installed them everything was fine, but now, the second time I install, 2 or 3 of the packages install properly and from the 3rd or 4th package I do get the 'prepare for install' process and after that the installer just quits. I thought it might be in one of the installers and tried to install in different orders, but this doesnt help, its completely random and sometimes 3 pack install right, another time 2 packs... Anyone know how to install all 4 packs without installers quitting?

I've just installed ORBX FTX PNW in P3D v2. I'm using it with FSDT Vancouver. So I jump in the default F22 and fly around the greater Vancouver area to check it out. The ground textures are very blurry and load VERY slow, which in turn hits my fps. I've seen various topics on this subject before, so I tried adding [JOBSCHEDULER] AFFINITYMASK=15 to my P3D .cfg file since I have a quad core processor. It made a difference with the default scenery, which loads very fast now, but the orbx scenery is unchanged in loading speed, and I am still getting nothing but blurry, slow loading ground textures in the PNW region. Any suggestions?

As I type this, my cursor rests on the "pay now" click spot. So I want the other one and when it's released I'm going to V2. Sitting on P3D 1.4 without a HEAVY! Why am I asking? I don't have a personality that handles bugs very well. Please don't chime in if you don't have service pack 1.4 for this aircraft. I use the iFly 737 since it's supported and the one other isn't, so I don't necessarily have to have the best graphics or every system, but what's implemented needs to work. ........too late, it's downloading. :Praying:

Soon I will be taking possession of a new high end i7, 4770 system. My plan was to install the OS on one 120GB SSD, FSX on another 120GB SSD, and my sceneries/Rex on a 1TB VelociRaptor drive. Three separate drives, which I thought would be beneficial, as things would load faster. However, reading recently, this "non techie" mind's interpretation is that Orbx sceneries must be loaded on the same drive as FSX. So, if this is true, I've wasted a bit of $$'s with a drive I don't need. Am I wrong with my read interpretation? Would greatly appreciate any input from you. Please don't advise me to visit Orbx forums. I was a member, but find them, imho, to be very "thinned…

Dear Friends./ Admin Before starting, i like to you know that i had following Orbx Add on Install on my FSX FTX AU (Australia) FTX EU (England) FTX NA (North America) FTX OLC (Open LC Europe) Full FTX PI (Papa New Guinea) AYPY FTX Global FTX Global Vector ( Global Vector ) Now i want these this to be clean uninstall because its really making confused and some sim objects of the scenery is floating, terrain is being cut filled with water, the addon airports are not supported even disabling at ftx vector configuration, i know just deleting the ORBX directory wont help removing completely clean from registry before re-installing again…

I have seen the threads re what to do to to get left gear down in P3D but nothing seems to work. Any further ideas would be appreciated. Thanks Adrian

Hi everyone, apologize if this is the wrong forum to post this. When I got home from vacation and loaded up P3D, excited to fly my A2A Cherokee, I saw something I didn't want to see. Huge pieces were missing from the ground! All over the globe! I have reinstalled P3D but I still have the same problem. I'm using a GTX titan with 340.52 drivers. When I installed the drivers I got a random BSOD so I had to installed the drivers again. I don't think that's the problem though since P3D is my only problem. All other games etc work just fine. I wish I knew how to attach a picture, any ideas ? It's kinda difficult to explain what it looks like. Thanks, EmilvK
