After purchasing orbx Australia a while back i thought I would give it a try out tonight, I have noticed that the airports look exactly the same as default?. Can someone tell me if this is the case ( with orbx England there were given a makeover) Many thanks

I'm not sure when it happen or how it happen. I was checking out the scenery I installed from Orbx which was the ftx global and the one for Europe. Also I got the Orbx for Scotland. When I was flying around Scotland it was normal ... It was in fall. I started flying in England and notice everything was green. Then I went back to other places I had been and saw they where in summer mode too even though the sim is set for fall. Any ideas what the trouble could be? :huh: I am running windows 7 64 bit.

Hello, I am having some problems with the performance in fsx with my computer. My cpu runs at 3ghz and I have a GTX 760 card with surround enabled. I thought: Does prepar3d v2 give me a more stable frame rate because the workload is now mostly on the gpu? How can I integrate the Orbx Regains with Google Earth?

am getting tired of writing speeding tickets for ai cars going 60mph in residential areas. How can I slow them down? Noel

I have noticed that some of the UTT AI 787 planes that I use in P3D are invisible (apart from the tail). This includes one or two of the Thomson Airways repaints, and also Royal Brunei. Has anyone else noticed this? If so, is there a fix for this issue?

I hope someone can offer me some advice regarding setting up P3D so it runs nice and smooth. I mainly use FSX as I am very happy with the way it runs on my set up. I use 1/2 v sync and lock frames to 30 in the sim which results in a very smooth flight. However despsite me trying various settings I cannot get P3D to run as smoothly and I am suffering slight stutters. Have tried using vsync on and off in the sim and nvidia inspector does not seem to make much difference. Any ideas that I can try? Currently, I have Prepar3D 2.4. For global textures, I have installed FTX Global and I have just purchased UTX USA v2.0. I have got a very important Question, which will more then likely keep me awake tonight if I don't get an answer. I too like the rest of you is obsessed with admiring Orbtx scenery from 40,000 feet in the air on a cloudy night Here is my Question, Please keep in mind I'm Irish and Thick, with the concentration of a Gold-Fish "sorry Floater" I installed Global base last night, very happy with it, and at the weekend ill be getting the 2010 Mesh, Vector and Europe. Since I did a fresh install of my pc, I'm seeing strange lines above trees with FTX Global/Vector installed that I havent seen before. I already tried to reinstall FTX and I repaired P3D, but this didnt make any difference. Trees close by are unaffected, but trees in the distance show these lines everywhere. Can someone could throw in some ideas about how to fix this, would be very much appreciated.

We all know about the incredible hit road traffic gives, but i have to say i tried it again, and the immersion is so much better with road traffic. Makes things way more realistic looking like there is life around the airport on final. So has anyone figured WHY there is a performance hit with road traffic? Why cant the vehicles be converted to a very very light texture , even if it looks crappy (cant see them close up anyhow), just the moving traffic would add a ton to the experience. It can be done with AI aircraft, so its optimized with the respective light maps and alpha channels etc. but road traffic, ive never seen anyone attempt to make them better. T…

Is it possable to download Orbx Global, Vector,etc. on a drive other than C Drive ?

I am presently unable to complete the installation of My traffic. I have installed P3D Version 2.3 on my C drive. Then I tried to install My Traffic as administrator. Rather than locating the correct file on its own, I had to browse to find the file. I instructed it to install using the following path. C:\Program Flies (x86)\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2. The first part of the installation went fine. On the second part of the installation after loading all of the aircraft the Traffic communicator appears and I follow the two steps instructed in your manual, I get the following message: Unhandled exception error; Could not find a part of the path C:\Users\Flight.00…

Has anyone seen or heard anything regarding the status of openLC North America? I've searched the AVSIM and ORBX forums but can only find a comment by JV a couple months ago stating that it was scheduled for release before the end of this year. It's been 4 months since openLC Europe was released and the end of the year is only 6 weeks away, yet still no screenshots or even a hint from ORBX developers about the status of this highly anticipated scenery. At this point I'm not expecting it to be ready by Christmas or we would have heard something by now. I'd love to be proven wrong, though. Dave

Recently noticed houses in the water near KLGA. Recently purchased Drzewiecki Design KLGA. I also have FTX Global and Vectors. Not sure if this is an FTX problem or DD problem.

I am just about to take the plunge on Global and of course would add Vector to it. Been considering this for some time but now that UTX v2 has been released I am having second thoughts. it would be interesting if those who have purchased both Vector and UTX V2 offered up opinions as to which is the better of the two with some details as to why.

Hello all-I use VOXATC and a buttkicker in P3dv2.3. I'm having difficulty with the interaction of VOX and the buttkicker. When I use the lower pitched male voices they set the buttkicker off. I then lower the frequency cut off in the buttkicker but the male voices still set it off. I have the onboard Realtek sound. Other than having all VOX female controllers and pilots (which is OK by me), does anyone know of a way to separate the lower pitched voices from the aircraft sounds? I've heard that OPUS has an interface for it, but I really don't need all of OPUS' other features.

Hi guys Imagine that the Lockheed Martin produce and simulate the Runway sloping in any of the future updates or even releases !. it will be strogly realistic feature. and increase the enjoyment of the flight simulation. P3D team is crazy, Can do anything and gives us unbelievable results as in the latest release (v2.4). Thx.

I have been trying to install FS Global 2010 in P3D - I found the Pilot's P3D installer and was succesfully able to install FS Global Ultimate The Americas, but when I load the first DVD and run the install for FS Global it simply sits on 'Pls insert the following installation DVD: FS Global 2010 DVD1'. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have both Pro ATC/X and Radar Contact and they work very well for IFR flights. They even put controllers in normally uncontrolled airports BUT, unless a person wants to fly by IFR rules on a VFR flight, we are left without controllers it seems at several airports that are controlled since P3D didn't provide them. Right now, I'm trying to investigate how P3D implements ATC and it looks like a very involved task. I had hoped that there was something like .cfg files for each airport but, that does not seem to be the case. Is there a place that ORBX has provided that shows which products now have the triple installers, and where they can be found? I did get the KORS the other day. By the way it is as smooth as a babies butt. I always had stutters in FSX at most of the ORBX Airports. Bob

At first I thought maybe i had an issue with testing some addons like New York City X and also Manhattan X.. but turns out I think that my issue is "just the way it is".. curious if everyone else is about the same.. Im using the "math" tweak in cloud.fx and I have left volumize enabled as well, for reference. I run a 780ti 3GB on three 24" screens at 5760x1080, though im proving single screen stats for comparison here.. i have a hex core 4930k cpu on windows 8.1 U1 x64.. Now to the stats..
