Can anyone advise if scenery from developer LLH Creations is compatible with P3Dv2.4? Their scenery is only advertised for FSX on their website. Thanks

Hi I am curious as to peoples views on the 777 in P3D v2.4 as I consider the best option. I used POSKY 777s in FSX, but as mentioned in a previous thread, I cannot overcome a problem with the lighting in the VC being too bright, to the extent that the gauges cannot be read. So, do I wait for PMDG and hope that my system can handle it, or go with Captain Sim? I note Rob (Ainscough) speaks positively of Captain Sim and I am very tempted, yet it also has some shocking reviews elsewhere particularly regarding FPS. I know that Rob has a high-end system so I am concerned I would be disappointed with a CS777 on my system. However as I have never used a PMDG product, …

Has anyone any comments on how the iFly B73NG works in P3D v2.4? I recall that there were perhaps fps and maybe other issues in the past with this product and P3D, but I could be incorrect in that assumption….. and even if I'm right, things may have changed with the versions of P3D... Hi all, After some years of absence I have some time again besides real flying and I've just installed Prepar3d V2.4 on my new PC. I've used the HIGH settings from Rob Ainscough website (very helpful website). I don't use Nvidia Inspector and only use the Nvidia control panel but most of the settings are on 'application' controlled. I use a fresh p3d.cfg and after reading on this forum I've tried the affinity mask tweak and the fiber frame fraction tweak to get rid of blurry textures in the near distance. I also turned off autogen to see if that helps and played with the sliders a bit to see if that helped. I use ORBX global base - Vector - Open LC and also REX textur…

Hey, guys... My graphics driver has been having some issues with P3D V2 lately... After a certain period of time, the screen will go black whilst the sound continues, and a pop-up box will tell me that my graphics driver has crashed and recovered.... Unfortunately it just remains on a black screen in P3D V2 and i have to restart the program to see anything. This is the only program with which my graphics driver will crash, it will run flawlessly otherwise, even with FSX! Anyone else having this same issue and can suggest a remedy?

I am planning to convert MAIW aircraft and ai flight plans to FSX for military traffic in Orbx North America. That requires adding more parking spaces to places like Elmendorf AFB and Whidbey Island NAS. How can get rid of that line of static helicopters at Elmendorf AFB in Anchorage? Noel

To trigger automatic pilot in F-35 starts a ballet, he obeys but after several ups and downs. Is there a remedy for this? I remember that problem up and down has already been addressed but I did not find post. Thank you Obrigado João Alfredo

What is the offical gouge on buffer pools? Not needed? Makes no difference? Hardware dependent? Some seem to think it made a huge improvement for them but that was back in the summer when we had version 2.2.

Hi! I just bought FTX Global yesterday from the Flight Sim Store. It looks great, but there are black boxes everywhere! I use DX10 btw. I did some research and found that this has apparently been fixed, but I'm still getting the black boxes. I would assume that because I just bought it that this would be the latest version... Any ideas? All help is appreciated :Praying:

Anybody give Imagine Sim Austin, TX. a try? Would like to hear your thoughts. While not a huge fan of IS some of what they offer isn't too bad and in many cases, like this, it's the only payware option for a particular location. I'd really like to know if there has been any improvement in their work especially since this is their first P3D release.

And looking for my logbook since I seem to have lost all of my November entries... I used PROCMON… And I get the error entry that mentions THEMIDA Themida(Not Responding) x A monitor program has been found running in your system. Please, unload it from memory and restart your program … Is this a virus or is it included in the V2.4 P3-D code? It shuts down prepar3-D v2.4. Also ...am I not looking in the right place for my current logbook? I understand it to be in users/%username%/documents/Prepar3d v2 files/logbook.bin Any help here? I recieved my notification that Just Flight they had released the professional version upgrade for their L-1011. I purchased and loaded it last night with no issues to P3D, and I have to say I am very happy with my purchase! The graphics has been improved, all the major panels are now functional, and they give you a really good FMC option version that you can use. For those purest, they have a dual INS that works like a champ, and the NAV can now be slaved to the FMC or INS depending on your build settings. Afternoon All, I'm sure this has possibly been answered but I'm new to P3D, finally moved over and it's been a good start - I currently own 'MyTRAFFIC X PROFESSIONAL 5.4C FOR FSX' Will this work for P3D or do I have to purchase something else? If the above will work, how do I install it? Same process as X or got to do a few extra bits? ------------------------ Secondly, how does Ezdok work with P3D?

Hello! I have been trying to install Sweetfx onto my P3d, but whenever I try, I get an error from P3d saying that it could not load some program files. edit: I believe 'DSR' is an alternative, can someone explain to me how to set this up? Can anyone help? Arnav

I would love to be able to switch off the P3D controllers and just use FSUIPC to control my FF joystick, CH Rudder Pedals and Saitek Pro Yoke but I have to keep them switched on for one reason.. I can't get smooth panning using the hat switch when programmed through FSUIPC. Has anyone managed to get smooth panning via FSUIPC? It's fine if I use the default P3D controls. I've previously posted in the FSUIPC forums but the problem continues. Would appreciate your thoughts/tips/settings etc! Thanks Adam

Hi If I just load a flight and start it, there appears to be no problem. However I have tried use Rob's tips re VAS efficiency and load a flight, then save it to re-start through the .fxml file. However whenever I click 'save' P3D (v2.4) just hangs up and crashes. I have tried this a few times, and received differing error messages in the event viewer, as below. One relates to a kernal32.dll. I have googles this and there is reference to updated drivers so I have updated through GFE experience, to no avail. The other error message relates to the map viewer. This is interesting as on the couple of occassions when I have used this in-flight, It has also caused a CTD. An…

For some reason I have not yet nailed down, I do get some OOM in V2.4 when flying tubeliners (even default), but not so much flying GA aircraft. OK now, granted, that is generally while using AS Next (undocked on a second display) and running an undocked instrument panel on a third display. The main P3D VC is on my main display. The other two displays are 23" touch screens. All have the same resolution, 1920 x 1080. I also use Track IR some, but not always. I don't think that is what the cause is, in any case. Hello all, I bought this product over 24 hours ago from PCAviator and was given the download code via email. The purchase has been marked as "complete" in my account history but I keep getting this error message: You supplied valid download key, but system failed to find distribution package , please contact the shop administration I have not received any replies to my emails requesting info. I know it must be a busy time for all vendors but aren't instant downloads supposed to be... uh... instant? Anyone experience this?

What are the consequences of eliminating folder containing P3D V2 installation files (10.4GB)? Can I move to another unit? I refer to files that are in hidden folder C: \ ProgramData \ Package Cache. João Alfredo

I just tried to install orbx Southampton airport v 1.10 the airport scenery will show & the airport lighting works, but there are no people moving around or aircraft parked there are no cars in the car parks no airport traffic no flow at all. I don't know how to get the AI scenery working FSX has got ftx england installed and all the boxes are checked in the eghi control panel, ftx central is set to europe . I have noticed that there are only GA ramps available for eghi listed in the selection box in the free flight screen i am sure it should have stands for airliners as well. I wonder if there will be a time when P3D can take advantage of all of that idle processing power when it's sorely needed. At touchdown frames went to 14 though this screenshot was captured at around 21. The striking thing to me is that while the sim appears quite CPU limited on the main thread the GPU is cruising along, down clocking itself w/ only 1500Mb or so of available VRAM being used, as well as GPU utilization of only 55%--this 55% is corroborated by the relatively low frequency & GPU temp you see in the sensor output:
