The region seems to have installed right cause everything looks alot nicer, i get this error when launching fsx (it comes in the screen before fsx gets to the main menu after launch) SCENERY.CFG file error.Local scenery directory (ORBX/FTX_AUFTXAA_ORBXLIBS/SCENERY) in scenery area.125 not found. After reading everyone talking about Prepare3D, my question is which version is every one getting? The academic license for 60? Professional for 200? or the Pro Professional for $2300? Thanks

Ladies and Gentlemen, I've come to the conclusion that for right now, P3D is not for me. I have just way too many FSX add-ons that won't work within P3D in an acceptable manner. And, as I kept adding more and more high-detailed aircraft and sceneries VAS filled in and killed it. Yes, the sim is nice due to a more 'immersive feel' created by the clouds, shadows, and over all environment. However, it comes with a high price- works great only with low-end add-ons. ( works ok with high-end add-ons and low settings) I am a huge fan of high-end add-ons, and full eye-candy... P3D won't let me do this, unfortunately. I end-up with an almost instant OOM. Hey everyone, Trying to connect TV as an external monitor using VGA cable or a HDMI cable, however the only way I can get the VGA and HDMI ports on the PC to work is by enabling onboard graphics, but then by doing this it conflicts with my Nvidia GTX 650 meaning that P3D loads and then closes down because of both the graphics on-board and the nvidia running. Is there anyway I can get around this? If I disable the onboard graphics using device manager the TV disconnects because it disables the ports on the computer. Thanks, Daniel

I recently changed computers to a high spec PC windows 7 - i7 16 Gb mem etc and have been installing fsx and orbx software. Hav installed fsx software and hardware ok but ORBX FTX Global is a problem as when I apply Global region I receive message saying it loaded but with errors. So, flying is really interesting and fun and all that but, I find that when I start up P3D at my local airport (KRNO), my airplane is always sitting facing the airport building but, no passenger ramp is there pressed to the side of the airplane... in fact, I see no movable walkways at all except in a couple of random places at the airport. Also, airport vehicles are really hit or miss too. I may or may not have a pushback vehicle in front of the airplane but pushback function always works. I would sort of like to start going through the process of ensuring passengers are loaded and having the walkway retracted then get pushback and startup clearance. Do I nee3…

I just finished a flight from Chicago to St Louis in my CS777 using ASN. Upon nearing St Louis at FL100 and ABOVE the clouds, it was pouring rain or sleeting or snowing: Then, on approach (and through the clouds) no rain, sleet, or snow: But, upon landing and going to my Gate (which I know is not a Gate for a 777), it's raining.... Has anyone else seen this in P3DV2 or is this an ASN problem? Thanks. Best regards,

First time this happens to me: the live weather in ASN is slighly off vs reality i.e. metars are slightly off versus real metars (ASN time stamped seems ahead of the real metars). Did anyone else noticed that ? Kind Regards Karim

Hello everyone after I installed ORBX GLOBAL VECTOR I started a flight at LTBA airport after departure I can't see the boshphorus and ı was surprised then I flew to Marmara see and again no water only sand.I flew near oceans too but nothing changed . Instead water textures there was only sand (Land texture).I have ORBX GLOBAL VECTOR 1.15 Im now installing 1.20 but it is 5GB if I install 1.20 ,will it be OK?

Hi, Been debugging / testing out EZCA in P3D 2.4. Yes, views work, yes profiles load, and yes most features are solid, however Mouse Look does not seem to function. ML mode does nothing - MMB does nothing (usual pling sound to notify that it has been pressed, moving the mouse simply makes the cursor disappear without changing the view. When editing views, (Numpad 2) ML as always, does not work. Tested: EZCA 1.15 in and outside of Symlink environment. Hi All Just done a clean install of P3D on new laptop and install ORBX Global & Vector but nothing has been added to the Scenary.cfg file .... How do I add them manually and in what order do they need to be ? Cheers

I'm completely puzzled about this and was looking for affirmation or not that FSCaptain might be the culprit. This is the honest to God truth of my experience: have had a stable, unchanging P3D V2.2 install since 2.2 debuted. I've had all of the following scenery loaded as soon as installers became available: 1. FTX Global, PNW, CRM, NCA 2. REX E+ & TD 3. QW757, RA TDuke, RA Legacy, CS Super MD-80 Pro I have flown countless flights in these, however due to borderline performance in regional sceneries on long flights (including transatlantic & cross country US, and may 2-4h flights) I would often just enable FTX Global only. Never have I had an OOM…

I have the FSX version of this very good product and I would like to run a native version of it in P3Dv2. It is not clear, though, if I can purchase the upgrade for this for $9.99 as my original purchase was from Just Flight. Is anyone using EireSim Cork Ultimate with P3D? I have just noticed that the main (glass) terminal building no longer has a roof! It also seems to be even more transparent than it should be. Can anyone confirm that?

Now that I have discovered the lovely FSCaptain I'm back to doing longer hauls w/ a purpose. I'm spoiled by CoolSky Super MD80 as far as performance:complexity ratio goes, and would like to find something comfortably flyable out of 3rd-party add-on terminals but perhaps only using FTX Global versus FTX regionals. I use regionals for lower/slower/shorter prop flights only, and just use FTX Global only for long hauls, which is good on both frames and VAS usage. I also use QW757 which is considerably poorer performing than MD80, and much less complex. I would be hoping to find another tube liner that is comparable in performance load to QW757, or a little harder woul…

I have seen videos of people flying online using P3D. Is this Vatsim or what service do you use?

So as the title suggests has anyone tried REX lattitude? Or even REX Simair (although FSX native). Seems like it adds a little bit of competition to what can sometimes become a lonely world (unless you use VATSIM etc). Thoughts, suggestions welcome. Does it work in P3D 2.X? It is about £10 so it wouldn't break my piggy bank. But before I take the plunge I thought I would ask. Thanks Tom

I have P3D v 1.2 and would like to update to v1.4. Do I have to install v 1.4 or is it possible to update 1.2 to 1,4? Any info (comparetable) about the difference between the two versions 1.2 and 1.4?
