Hi, I use FSUIPC to assign all (well, almost all) axis and buttons. Therefor I manually deleted most assignments using the settings/controls interface in P3D. That works nicely, however sometimes (experienced it twice now) for some reason P3D decided to re-enable all default axis/button/key assignments Is there a way to prevent this? In FS9 one had to remove all entries in the controls.cfg if I recall correctly. Can this also be done for P3D?

I am seeking help to create a boot script to build a simulator for an aviation museum. I want to boot to windows, open P3D, display and instruction page, push a button to learn to fly take off or land then return to the instruction page when complete. Anyone out there who can help?

Hello All, I was pulling out my credit card to purchase the Eaglesoft Citation X when I noticed on their website it was stated that it was intended for (among others) P3Dv3 Academic. I have the Professional version. Does this leave me out in the cold? Any help from anyone on this would be greatly appreciated. Steve

Hi, after installing P3D, I'm at this point pretty much playing around looking at settings, tweaking, etc., and also playing around with the many airplanes I have purchased up to here. As I'm just playing around, it's not unlikely that I simply overstress or even crash the airplane, and that's when the behavior of P3D I hate kicks in: After that happens, and unlike FSX, the sim automatically loads the default scenery and bloody F-22... Is there any way to prevent this? Also, is there a different way that on startup you can see both the flight setup and the sim settings like yo can in FSX? I see other braking options in the configuration screens, but not differential braking. Note - I believe it's left/right brake axis; however, I'm getting a differential braking message when I hit my trigger button on my joystick, and cannot find the assignment... Note 2 - I just got the paid version of FSUIPC, so if there's a better way... Any help appreciated! thanks, Andrew

Hi all, EZCA is not working anymore, all of a sudden. I am getting this "Application can not run "message when launching P3D v3.2. I have tried EVERY possible thing to fix it to no avail and I'm seriously getting crazy: 1) EZCA Uninstall + full registry cleaning + new install of EZdok-Setup-1.18.7.exe 2) Admin rights to both EZCA.exe and config.exe. 3) Installed old EZCA versions with all the bells and whistles (...) that go with these installs. 4) Antivirus disabled, Lasso disabled (who knows?), numerous reboots between each steps (who knows?), Win 10 restored to previous state. 5) EZCA manual launching, via exe.cfg or via FSUIPC: same problem. 6) Tried to…

I know this is a pretty subjective question but sick of spending money to realize I went the wrong direction. Looking for the most immersive display experience I can hobble together. I have around $1k of money for displays that will only be used for flight and racing sim. 4790K 4.0Mhz, GTX 970 P3D v3.2 Samsung 47" 1080p LCD. Thoughts on which is more immersive. I have the room to build curved screen for projector just don't want to go triple projector route yet. Would a 2nd GTX970 help any of these setups or is better to wait for next gen of cards? Thanks

Hey Everyone, I just wanted to get the communities opinion. I just reinstalled my p3d v3.2 after some OOM issues I believe were Vector related, and after doing a clean install, I remembered that the default clouds in V3 look better than in previous versions and honestly look quite nice. Does anyone else use defaults? How is performance of defaults vs soft clouds? Just wanted to hear your thoughts.

I have some elevation problems (starting bellow the runway) at Aerosoft KAVX airport. I'm runing P3D v3.2 + Global + Vector + Pilots FTX 2010 Mesh + LC EU + LC NA. Does anyone have a solution/workaround? I used the Orbx AEC tool with no avail. Outside View Top-Down View

Hello! If I want to post a video with ORBX FTX global base in it on youtube with ads turned on (so that I will make money on it) do I need to buy the commercial license, or is it enough to have the normal license? I continue to experience random, crashes of Prepar3D (v3.2.3.16769) to the desktop without error messages either in the Event Viewer, WhatIsHang, AppCrashViewer, or via fsuipc.log (Win 7 Prof). I have several devices including a PFC yoke and Throttle Quadrant, Saitek Rudder pedals, GF-ICCS, and a Logitech G13 which is programmed for cockpit and external views. The scenery includes UK2000, FlyTampa, and FSDT; ASN is used for the weather generation. I have examined the dll and exe.xml files and eliminated items one by one to no effect. I noticed that after i ran the shaderpack my clouds disappeared. i did delete the right shaders and all that but it did not help.No more clouds. If i put the original cloud.fx back clouds come back. I checked the content error log and i found this> error=Shader cache failed to compile or create shader. source-file: G:\prepar3d\ShadersHLSL\Cloud.fx cache-file: C:\Users\Vicky\AppData\Local\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3\Shaders\v323_sm110_Cloud.fx_PS_10ad000123000001_0040218000000000.cso [error.234] Any help appreciated. thanks

Anyone have any idea why mouse look in P3D 2.3, most recent release, would stop working with no changes done to the sim? I press the space bar and I see the crosshairs, but no response to mouse movement. Files I could look in? I uninstalled a registered version of FSUIPC, no luck

Hi Everyone, I recently purchased some Goflight Panels , 2x p8, 1x 166, 1x46, 1xt8, I run windows 10 with the most current p3d. I have been trying to get these working and it seems I can get some parts working some not at different times. Can anyone link me to a tutorial or info on how to get theses set up and working? Hi all, Long time FSX user. New PC, new sim - purchased and downloaded P3D pro License last night. Will install tonight, along with a P3D version of PMDG NGX and any of my 'old' FSX addons that came supplied with dual FSX/P3D installers. Some basic questions though, as a quick read thru the forums suggest that P3D does, like FSX require some tuning. I plan to start out with no tweaks but do I need to install FSUIPC into P3D? I am also not sure on how/if Nvidia inspector should be set up? What else do I need to concern myself with before bombing ahead with installing the new sim? Hi All: Out of curiosity, are the settings in P3D v3 higher/more detailed then FSX SE? By that I mean, and more specifically, are the scenery settings equivalent? Or are higher settings in P3D V3 more graphic and detailed compared to the higher settings in FSX SE. I'm just wondering because when I set my P3D v3 settings identical to that in FSX SE, I get OOMs and extremely blurry ground scenery. Thanks for the explanation.

Hey friends, I have this issue, no matter the airplane, when apply thrust tend to steer right or left, PMDG, Aerosoft, default, this issue as I can realize is connected with weather, when I apply winds calm, takeoff of every plane goes well, but when I apply 10 kt or more this issue appears, with P3D custom weather or active sky next. autorudder is always activated. data: windows 7 64 bits Prepar3d v3.2 PMDG 737NGX or aerosoft Airbus. active sky next and default weather FSUIPC v4.95 registered. Good day, Is there a certain way and/or order to install add-ons into your P3D?

Having come from FSX where I was happy with a smooth flowing scenery, mostly set to the max, I have been a little disappointed with tmy initial experience with P3D. I realise I need to spend time with those sliders. My issue is micro stutters. Very slight but they are there. Tried many things with the various sliders but they don't get eliminated completely. I feel that my FSX ran smoother and on lesser hardware. My question: seriously thinking of upgrading my GTX780 Ti Overclocked Edition with 3GB RAM for a GTX 980Ti Overclocked Edition with 6 GB RAM. Currently on special, but still not cheap! Will I derive much benefit from this in P3D? By the way, my CPU is an …

(Note I do not wish to purchase ORBX Global etc. yet) I have a 120GB SSD and a 1TB HDD. P3D and Windows stuff are installed on the SSD (this is a very new desktop) which therefore means that the SSD is getting more full and only has about 50GB left. I purchased the Academic version of P3D V3 a couple of days ago. But to date the frame rates have been absolutely appalling, hovering regularly around 6-7 and never getting higher than 11.4! I have never experienced frame rates this poor in FSX Steam Edition (at least, not all the time, though they can get quite bad in a graphic-heavy airport) or in X-Plane 10 Global (I only have a "vanilla" version of that though, with no add-ons as I don't use it much). Of course, I have tried turning my sliders down, but that has not made a blind bit of difference. I also adjusted my frame rate target from 20 to 30, but that didn't change a thing. ...can anybody suggest a good setting for the .cfg file to lighten up night somewhat...so at least to see some airport detail, as you do in FSX. Am I right, that you edit this line to brighten up the night; TONEMAP_NIGHT_EXPOSURE_KEY=0.130000 Has anybody changed the stock numerical above? Thanks..
