Do you think the GTX 1060 would be worth buying for P3D? I was debating whether or not to try to get a GTX 1070, or GTX 970SSC, but Nvidia just announced a GTX 1060. What is everyone's opinion?

I have made bodgit MCP controller by sticking a couple of old joystick boards in a box with the old buttons repurposed as switches. I can assign these to MCP switches in FSUIPC. What I cannot do, and can't find out how to do, Is to assign one of my switches to incr/decr MCP Course, Speed, Heading, and Altitude. In earlier versions i successfully used mouse macros, but these do not work for these controls in my new setup. If anyone can point me in the right direction (one example - say incr. Heading - would suffice) I would be extemely gratefulbut I have got about as far as I can on my own. In anticipation houndini

Good morning, I have installed my p3d on an ssd 256gb and with the 3/4 of the ssd already covered with planes and scenery (orbx and external mesh scenery) I am thinking the solution of a sshd. I want your experiences and your opinion about performance and issues. I have a second, smaller 1080P monitor, not being used currently. If I connect it up to my GTX980 Ti GPU, can I run applications like PFPX, Pro-ATC-X on the second monitor while P3D runs simultaneously in pseudo full screen mode (I know it is more a full screen window mode) on the main 1440P monitor? This would allow me to avoid occasional Alt-Tab'ing. I suppose this adds quite a bit of strain to the GPU? Thanks!

I just installed ORBX NorCal, aannnnd uh I dont even know what to do, I tried deleting the texture.cfg, no luck, and tried Re-Installing. I have no clue what to do. Please help haha

Just did a fresh install of the GTN750, i cant seem to click the continue button on the screen that shows the version info.. to get to the main screen. I've tried playing with the setting: [Legacy] Enabled=1 both 0 and 1, no luck, tried multiple aircraft.. Am i missing a step here? I have the gtn trainer lite, installed as well. I set it to Enabled 1 after trying 0 and tried a different aircraft.. on the charts info line, it says "Verifying" and never goes anyfurther.. (unless i reset the flight) Continue is "blue" but unclickable if i reset the flight.. i then see 1607 for flitecharts.. but after that the continue button is just black/grey and stil…

Hi guys The KMZ I have for OzX and ORBX Australia is missing alot of the newer airports. I think it is called version 3.3 Has anyone seen a newer one that has the latest Aussie airports from ORBX?

Hi I've been an active sky next user with fsx for years but I have moved over to P3D now and I keep getting constant CTD when using ASN, when I run the sim without ASN I have no problems at all, I've tryed everything to resolve the problem including submitting a ticket to active sky but I've had no success so I'm now looking for an alternative weather engine, it's a must have, I love to fly with real weather, any advice appreciated. Hello! Is it just me or why does the internal fps limiter such an impact on the fps? For example when I'm running ~40 FPS @ unlimited and then set the limiter to 60 the fps drop to 30. And when I set the limiter to 30 the fps drops further to 25. Basically I won't get the fps I set, even though running at a higher limit or unlimited clearly shows it's capable of running at that value. I tried to limit the fps as it feels like it has a positive impact on blurries and a slightly reduce in VAS, but that could also just be because it lowers the fps in the way I described. Jan

Hello experts, during flight with pmdg 777 in p3d v3 my framerate drops during 15 minutes flight from about 50 to 18-20 at the end. Clear weather, no addons except Ezca. What I found after checking a lot of things : when the framerate has dropped and I change during flight the time of day, or day to night, so that terrain is loading again, I get my framerates back from beginning. What is going on ?

Hi, There is a new camera program coming out soon for FSX/P3D called "Chase Plane" by FSFX Packages. You really need to check out "Froogle's" new video on it where he raves about it, and it is only in Pre Alpha !. Already it can do cockpit views and outside views, with static views (like world camera in EZdok) coming soon. The interface is modern and looks very easy to use. They say release is early 2017, but I think they are going to release an open beta next month, check out the FSFX packages site for more info. In game all the axis commands are deleted. I assign them thru FSUIPC. Trim is moving on its own though. How can I find out thru FSUIPC what controller is making it move?

Does anyone know what this is suppose to do? I read the manual but still don't don't really understand exactly what it's for.

Hi! Folks, I would like to know your opinions about the P3D 64bits. IMHO I think that when Lockheed Martin moves P3D to 64 bits, any simulator will not survive, because today the main issue in P3D is OOM. With 64 bits this issue will be solve. Today I have P3D v3.4, FSX-SE and X-Plane 10 and I admit always tried use all simulators but when the day came to the end I am using to P3D v3.4 in the most of the time. I've been having some monitor flickering issues (very noticable in dawn/dusk scenarios). I thought it was just my LCD TV (a cheap old SONY) that wasn't of the best quality, but when going from unlimited fps to a locked frame rate (tried 20, 30 and 40) the flickering disappears. I fired up P3D v2.5 to test how it behaved. I had no flickering at 30 fps locked or unlimited. Cam anyone else confirm the flickering issue (P3D v3.4, unlimited fps)? I use an ASUS GTX970 STRIX, and tried 3 different drivers (clean installs every time) with no difference.

My computer has the following spec P3D, FTX ORBX Global Win10, Intel Core I7 4790K 4.0 GHz Mem 16Gb GPU MSI GForce 980TI Gaming SSD1 Tb Firewall Win10 disabled Windows defend deactivated Avast all directories excluded where the software and data are P3D P3D slides are set quite far to the right, but without being particularly high. The system runs well with 22-25 in FRPS for example Heatrow. The problem is that the recurring with no or few minutes makes the image on the monitor a jump where you almost have a still image for a few tenths to sometimes maybe a second. I'm looking for feedback on anyone who is spending a lot of time flying FSLabs airbus in FSX-SE and also using Orbx North america LC. Are you having issues with OOM? Are you flying into and out of payware airports. I have FTX global and run ASN with rex soft clouds but I would like to add more to my simulator (I don't have any issues with OOM at the moment because its pretty bare bones). I'm running DX10 with Steve's fixer. How is the north america landclass performance with higher end aircraft? I don't really want to be spending the money on it if its going to cause problems. Maybe this has been addressed in previous inquires but I cannot figure out how to load the pilot and passengers in my A2A 182. I click on them in the window but they do not show up in the plane. There is no option in the configurator either. I saw a reference to advanced animations but I don't know where this is located. I'd appreciate the help in getting this resolved. Thanks, Dennis

Hello, I am looking for a 737-300 for P3Dv3.4 Anybody flying the: Wilco 737 Pilot in Command EVOLUTION in P3Dv3.4 (or possibly also in FSX Acceleration)? Any feedback would be appreciated.
