Hello, Has anybody an idea how to fix this contrail flickering problem ? Hi, I run P3D as administer to day my flight is VTBS-WSSS i fly with no problem until i decent the an airport and i Press CTRL+F9 to open up IVAO window to see METAR and now my P3D are stop like a picture (but still have a sound) so i minimize the window and open it again and now it all black screen but sound is normal.I have this problem 3 time first time i open chrome and open ivao webeye and P3D is not responding. Second i open chrome (again) and open facebook when i come back to P3D it not responding again. I want to disable the rain effect in P3D as it causes microstutters whenever it appears. I wouldn't go flying in rain anyway in the real world so it doesn't bother me not having the effect in P3D. Has anyone disabled their rain successfully? Regards, Adam

Hi, anyone got working FlightFX in P3D v 3.3? Im getting d3d11.dll error when starting the sim. When the files from FlightFX are deleted it runs ok. Thank you

Hiyah, I was wondering if anyone knows how to fix this issue i have with P3D. Basically P3D was working fine until i connected my second monitor - I had to change a setting in my bios for it work and it enabled my onboard graphics which I had disabled by default. So then when i got my second monitor working i went to play P3D and it loaded up the scenario creator screen, and then it just froze, and after a few seconds it just closed with no error message or anything. So I instantly thought that it was because of the onboard graphics so, i went to my display adapters and disabled my oboard intel graphics but then it killed my second monitor. I'm trying to get an update for am Orbx scenery I already have installed but that %^&*&%^%$ new FTX Central 3 tells me I do not have access to that product. I got a reply on the Limited Support Forum that I have to register all my products from the FSS to Orbx Direct, I have spent the past hour trying to find out what Orbx Direct is and how to register my products without success. Can someone tell me how to do that? Noel

I've downloaded myself some new AI models by Erez Werber along with liveries. While the installation instructions are clear, it merely says 'assign the aircraft to some flight plans'. Now how do I do that?

Running p3d v3.4.9.. had been all fine here even with fsx compatibility mode.. then today, i cant launch fsx.exe.. If only tileproxy didnt need this, i wouldnt even need to use the legacy mode / trick with fsx.exe, but i do. I even went so far as to enable fsx mode via EMT (i had it working before with just the cfg files in the p3d roaming folder with the proper fsx.exe in the root of V, the one that is 4xx kb in size).. Same deal.. i open fsx.exe and it shows the splash screen then boom, gone, exe gone too. I tried renaming fsx.cfg to make it recreate, no joy. Anyone else ran into and found a fix for this? Hello All. I joined VOZ way back in the very early 2000. I then went with everyone to Orbx FTX. I have through the FLTSIM Store bought everything that came out, including libraries up until 2012 or thereabouts. Unfortunately due to unforseen circumstances I had to delete everything from my computer and of course stupid me never backed and zipped it up. In the past couple of years I have made two or three false starts to get into it again, but due to memory I've totally forgotten what should be installed in order. I am sure this has been discussed somewhere in the years since Aerosoft's Airbus simulations came out. A quick search for "Aerosoft A320 Airbus Joystick Setup" did not help. I saw a few websites talking about this but my head nearly exploded from the overly complicated hoops to jump through. I own Aerosoft's Airbus Extended A319/A320/A321 aircraft and cannot configure my joystick and throttles for use with them. The control surfaces are dead in the simulator and FSUIPC is no help in getting around this. Is there a way to tweak the speed of the car traffic--specifically, to slow it down? I seem to recall that there was a file you could alter in fsx. I'm looking to do it in P3D v3.4

Hi. I'm running P3Dv3.2.3 and have searched for and found many comments about resetting the eyepoint. Several times I've seen that pressing SHIFT + SPACEBAR will reset the eyepoint to default. When I do this, nothing seems to change. Did I miss a memo somewhere or am I doing something wrong, possibly misinterpreting the term "default"? Thanks, Jeff

Hi, I just bought this scenery today, but I'm having trouble with runway lights not displaying. According to the brief documentation, SODE is responsible for some lighting effects. It is mentioned that the exe.xml file must have certain lines in it for SODE to function with this airport. I looked in the file, and there is a reference to SODE, but several of the lines that the documentation says are necessary are missing. I'm hoping that editing this file will solve the problem. Can anyone recommend an effective but cheap XML editor? Thanks, Tom

I had book marked a shared spreadsheet showing what P3D configuration hit hardest on gpu or cpu (highlighted in different colors appropriately) and various settings they had used. When I went to the bookmark, it only goes to odrive.com or something like that. Anyone remember that one or have information like that (i.e. Traffic uses GPU most)?

When my vantage point to AI traffic is beyond a certain distance their textures (liveries) disappear and the plane turns to all white. The AI traffic model is still visible, just their liveries go missing. My LOD is set on max in P3D. After searching the long history about this on the web, best I could come up with is this setting: [sCENERY] SmallPartRejectRadius=nn But that setting is not in the AVSIM P3D guide. Hi, does anyone have experience with the DA Fokker 70/100 in P3D(v3)? I bought it yesterday at flight1, thought it would be worth the try. i can load it in the sim, but its stuttering every few seconds, with cracking sound, and i had a OOM after 10 min of flying, never had a OOM with PMDG etc. before. So maybe it's just too old, but if anyone has a tip it would be appreciated.

What a mess, Have authorized the flight Sim Store to transfer my many purchases amounting to thousands of dollars to the new ORBX system. I have downloaded and installed FTX Central version 3 and can tell that my purchases are there since they are highlighted, and run in P#D (v. 3.4) However it will not update the products since it claims I am not authorized (not recognizing FFS transfer). This may be connected to the fact that I have been unable to access to my "Spirit Flyer and/or Stephen Wilcox' normal account at ORBX for over a year because I need a new password and a new registered email. Hi all Nvidia drivers , Just wanted you to know that you should try out the latest drivers (at least for P3DV3.4.9 ). It even runs better on my system than 353.06 which i found to be pretty cool. I have tested in Aerosoft EDDF2 with OPENLCEU and Night Invironment Germany with the NGX and in CYVR (FSDT) with PNW by ORBX in the Realair Legacy . A little tip: if you are using AS2016+ASCA and doesnt mind the overcast feature , then set your clouds settings to high instead of maxed out in P3D . I have a huge performance when AS2016 is predicting OVC (even in SLI) Just my two cents for the night Remember to use DDU in safemode when uninstalling…

I have just noticed that Flightsimstore is no longer supplying Orbx products and there is a brand new FTX Central 3 app to use It looks as if you have to purchase and download your products for Prepar3D via Orbxdirect.com from now on I wonder what happens if you need to re-install anything that was purchased via Flightsimstore? Hey guys I know this has been asked many times Thou are blurry textures beyond the LOD normal in p3d v3.4? Thou clear up as you get closer? Textures are very sharp and clear within lod. I have ht on with AM 116 only tweak All addons are set to 0,1,3,7 in process lasso and p3d exe is set to high priority Pc specs i7 4790k at 4.4 2x gtx titans in sli Asus vi extreme mobo 2 x ssd 2tb and 3tb hdd 16gb 1600 ram H110 water cooler Any advise is appreciate I have tried evrerything And looks the same in distance and when i zoom in also Cheers Mike
