Hi everyone I have just installed both the F-4J/S Phantom II & F-4E Phantom II into Prepar3D version 3.4 and as soon as I load either aircraft and get into the cockpit 'Boom' ... the sim crashes straight back to the desktop without any word or warning ... If I load any other aircraft Prepar3D operates absolutely fine so I know it's an issue with the Milviz aircraft On their website it says it is compatible with Windows 10 and P3D all versions ... Has anyone else experienced this problem and if so is there a fix? Thanking you in advance Paul

I'm running p3d v3.4.9 + UT2 2.10 (fall 2016 schedules) + STB v3.4.0.9 (latest).. Im not seeing a ton of AI traffic and i'm wondering what might be going on. By seeing, i mean with STB.. My settings in UT2 are: In Game Settings: Target Frame Rate = off Max altitude visible= 9500 ft Distance to spawn aircraft = 20nm Number of aircraft = 100 For the Airline traffic i have it at 90% and GA at 30%.. In p3d i have the traffic sliders at zero. When i launch p3d, the ut2services.exe does launch.. I get maybe 6-10 ai craft once on the runway, paused.. or unpaused.. if i end task on ut2services.exe the craft do disappear. What is a more typic…

I"m narrowing down issues with my sim since reinstalling.. I'm trying to determine if I largely have a flight yoke issue (win 10x64 Redstone) or if its just how the sim is.. What is the real world feel on a flight yoke in a small GA craft such as a 172 Cessna or a p92 eaglet? When you take off and get to say 1000 feet, still at full throttle, shouldnt the craft still tend to nose upward until you lower the rpm to cruise, then trim for level flight? (And not want to have constant back on the yoke to keep the nose up this whole time).. Im using P3d v3.4.9 and I have all the latest Simmconnects installed, but there is this problem when I open the .exe, it opens for a brief second in which the interface is completely not usable and it closes and opens and closes and it just repeats this process until you are forced to restart your PC. Is anyone else having this? Does anyone know a fix for this? thx KH

A couple days ago I posted here that after installing the CIRP facilities at Ketchikan and Stewart they wouldn't show up. I uninstalled and reinstalled a couple of times. Still no joy. Today I installed all the CIRP stations into a single folder and just for kicks included the Ketchikan and Stewart facilities. Now they show up just dandy. Grrrrrrrrr....Am I a dummy or what? Noel

Hello! I am searching the web for the new A320neo family for P3D. All I can find is the so-called "neo" liveries for Aerosoft Airbus (which in fact is NOT the neo, only the standard-A320 family with Sharklets). Hello, I just did a fresh install of P3d v2.5 and the default KMCO has trees on some of the taxiways and buildings in between taxiways. I read through the forums and some had this issue with add-on airports but this is the default airport. My add-ons are ORBX base,vector,pnw and crm and PMDG 737. I assume ORBX is causing this. I have run the configuration tool. Any suggestions? Thanks, Matt

Hi everyone, I've been thinking about getting the Baytower RV-7 as it seems like a great addon. However, there does not seem to be a consensus as to whether it works in P3D 2.5 or not... After a little research I've found several posts saying that it works fine as long as the tansponder gauge is disabled, but also at least one person saying that since 2.5 it causes the sim to crash. Can someone confirm whether it does (or doesn't) work in 2.5? Thanks! Steve

Is there a version of AFX for P3D? I can't seem to find one of there is. Or, alternatively, is there a way to make AFX work with P3D? Noel

I always calibrate my yoke, rudder and throttles through FSUIPC. I did it in FSX and I do it now in P3D. I know how to do it and never bothered finding out if there are other options. I started doing it because I have a lot of addon airplanes, from GA to airliners. You can make a profile in FSUIPC for every different configuration. Can this be done directly in P3D now or how do people do that without FSUIPC?

I have been flying with ASN, ORBX global base, vector, and openlc europe and NA along with REX textures and softclouds. But I am not looking to enhance the visuals. I need to know what is the next step to achieving more realistic views. I've seen screenshots, and had I not known this is a flightsim forum, I wouldn't be able to tell whether the pictures I see are from a simulator or real life. I have heard terms like "ultimate realism pack" and "p3d shader pack" and I don't really know what they are. Is it software? Or are they some .cfg file modifications created by particular users? With so many threads started by people hoping to solve problems, I thought that I would post something random that happened to me today with P3d. I started running it with the RealAir Turbine Duke parked at KJAX, with me trying to explore the new version of the Flight1 GTN 750 (1.15). Then my wife reminded me that the Cubs-Dodgers game was starting, so I paused P3d and left my computer. After about two hours of watching the game, I went to make some tea and get some cookies and I realized that I left the computer on. I went to shut it off and I noticed that P3d had run out of memory, even though it was still paused. In Process Explorer it showed P3d only using 2.7 GB …

OK, so overnight my spot view is now off. It looks like I'm viewing things in a wide angle lens, the perspective is off and the image bends when I get close.. Anyone know how/why that happened? How do I fix it? also if I go into locked spot view then it's normal... go figure Sometimes flight sim just does it's own thing. I installed some sceneries last night and a few freeware and 1 payware aircraft this morning. I noticed it this morning. any ideas? thanks

Hi there, I am using simbrief to export the flightplan to be used with P3D since "Feelthere Map!" requires P3D default flightplans to work properly. However, everytime when I try to load the flightplan(created by simbrief) to P3D. it pops up an error message says "unable to load an incompleted flight plan". The OS I am using: Windows 8.1 Sim: Prepar3d V3.2 Export method: Simbrief. Any clue on solving this problem? Thank you for your assistance. Regards, Gordon.

Been using FSUIPC with my PMDG 737 for ages and never had a problem.. untill today. Fired up the sim and was ready to go just to discover that all the bindings and inputs had been deleted. I havent touched anything in the FSUIPC folder so i really dont get this. This is what the config file says:

I'm sure the issue is on my end, although, how is it possible that i am loosing over 40 fps in flight during dusk. Usually frames stay around 50-70 fps in the cockpit (pmdg), fall down to 40s when overcast and heavy clouds (as20016+asca) plus PTA, and now flying over northern Poland to Stockholm, overcasted skies below, sun is setting, fps fell down to 18!!! I'm using i7 6700k ocd to 4,5ghz, ocd gtx1060.

Hi there, I am flying on VATSIM, I don't turn AI traffic on unless I fly online. The problem is some AI models are not visible. I can see some people are flying with an A350 or B787 on VATSpy, but they are not visible in the sim at all. I have been using WOAI for a while, good fps but their AI traffic packages are not sync to realworld airliner, some models are missing (like A350, B77W,B787), and some airlines are not exist any longer. This is what I see in the sim with WOAI, I can see a user is flying a 77W aircraft, his ICAO code is filled correctly in the flightplan. But I can only see him flying a 772. Hello everybody! How can I use Opencockpits modules with Prepar3D? What's necessary to use it (programs, scripts, etc.)?

Hi at all, I again dusted off this program bought a few years ago: LiveATC. I followed the guide correctly, downloading various streaming files, set and successfully created my own library of audio files, launch the program and it works (I use it with P3D) it remain in desktop icon well connected to the sim and the streaming audio with the active green light but.....I do not feel any communication from the stream! (if I open it with a media player i feel radio communication without problems). I can not figure out whether to automatically LiveATC were to open a media player because it does not! otherwise how you would feel notices? I have to give it to some file…

I have Prepar3d V3.4 (academic) installed with Win 10 and the latest Nvidia driver 373.06. The issue I have is a small water mark appears on the lower right of the screen that looks like a small circle. This water mark also appears in the aircraft selection screen, lower right. I have no idea why it is now appearing and was hoping some one has the same experience and could help me rid my screen of this annoying mark. never mind. I figured it out. it is nvidia's screen capture program. See the image in the lower right
