A rather good looking new Tahiti scenery for P3D, at least on the developer's site screenshots. Anybody has tried it ? http://www.flightscene.net/ This is obviously different from the Aerosoft scenery (Tahiti 2) which may never be released...

I read some threads from back in 2015, but now that a lot more time has passed how is Prepar3d looking? I have FSX (boxed addition and now I'm moving over to steam edition). I am considering switching to another platform especially since the FSLabs Airbus will only charge an upgrade fee for going from fsx to prepar3d. I had a lot of VAS problems with FSX and was really annoyed. Has prepar3d improved substantially over the past year? Is it receiving active updates to make it worthwhile to invest in long term? I bought a ton of content for FSX and I don't feel like paying PMDG twice for the same planes but when there new 747 comes out for prepar3d I could just make the swit…

HI, I installed vector V1.45. After install i got an errors in my scenery libeary. http://i.imgur.com/v8O9qL4.png http://i.imgur.com/E2FHqKF.png And also if i will go to Vector folder in my P3D V3 Path, there's are only 2 files: FTX GLOBAL VECTOR Configuration Tool and folder that call "Disabled".. no more files. Hello I recently built the following system and installed P3D v3 to use on it: - Intel 6700K @4.4Ghz, HT enabled - 16GB DDR4 @ 3GHz - Both local drives are SATA3 SSDs - EVGA GTX 1070 FTW (boosting to 2GHz in the sim) P3D looks incredible in rural areas with little traffic or building-type scenery, running at a smooth frame rate when locked at 30FPS. However, if I try loading a flight starting at LHR (all default scenery apart from Orbx FTX Global and FS Global mesh), with traffic set at ~50% (MyTraffic X is installed), the frame rate plummets to 10 FPS. Drives me crazy, make a perfect dawn flight video, or series of screen shots, and they look awesome on my PC in my photos folder, but once uploaded they are almost pitch black, never happened with FSX. Have any of you noticed it?

Hi All, I just updated from P3D v3 to v4. I had previously installed MyTraffic 6 into v3, but it is no longer working in v4 as expected. Where can I find an update to MyTraffic 6? Bill Clark

Does someone know if it's possible to change the default size of the menu windows in P3Dv3.4? The windows I'm talking about is the menu windows that is used by products such as GSX, AS16 etc.

OK GUYS, SO OBVIOUSLY V3,4 WAS RELEASED UNSTABLY. I WOULD SUGGEST IF YOU DECIDE ON UPGRADING TO P3D V3.4 TO WAIT TILL LOCKHEED RELEASES A HOTFIX IN THE NEXT WEEKS HOPEFULLY. MY SUGGESTION THANK YOU, ALEX KULAK

I love my FTX global textures, but often large patches of turquoise tropic coral reefs are symmetrically aligned and very artificial lookng. Anyway to change this? Not sure that Rex 4 will help here, or will it.?

Does anyone have the original files in the ShadersHLSL folder in the p3d game directory or know how i can get them without reinstalling the game thanks.

Noticed that the Fuel and Change fuel areas are not the same. Change fuel is correct whereas Fuel is several times as small. This happens only while starting the sim. Once aircraft is flying both report the same. This is in P3DV4.

Hey members, I have an issue here with P3D, Yesterday I tried to instal the Reshade pack from PTA... But not as it should be I guess, because there are problems... Then I have uninstalled P3D and all my add-ons and reïnstalled them, and then when I start a scenario i have this issue with the scenery... I use ORBX Global Base Pack, openLC Europe, ORBX Vector & EU England, I think that is the problem somewhere ... Can someone please help me here? I'd be very grateful to you ... is there anyway to get that light bloom addon for fs2004 to work in p3d v3 as it is much better in p3d v3 the sun is not nearly strong enough and at night time it is not dark enough.

Only thing I have different to before is I'm now running the Ultimate realism pack. I have REX4 and ORBX installed don't know what it is. Any help appreciated. Hellow my fellow simmers, Down the line of ORBX/FTX installations i must have missed out when Autogen was "overwritten" with either Default Global or something else for at least skyscrabers and bridges. Hi-flying through Aerosoft Antarctica on my 'round the world flight that began January 2015, and the only aircraft with skis in my hangar are Aerosoft's Beaver and Otter. Anyone know of other aircraft with skis? Most of the airstrips are ice and snow, so wheels are out of the question this time of year. Thanks for any input.
