Hello all Running the latest beta build of EZDok2 and have assigned a number of keys to VC views. However, each time that I select a new view, I see a momentary, "blink" on the screen before the view changes. This even happens if I re-select the same view. I know that this is only a beta build of EZDok2, but it would appear that this problem is not new. I've tried this advice from about 3 years ago, but this plays havoc with my views and I lose the EZCA VC view altogether ? Any advice much appreciated ! Regards Gary

Just a quick poll to see if people were willing to pay for their favourite ORBX product again to make it available sooner rather than later. I totally migrated from FSX to P3Dv4 only to find Australia void of any ORBX scenery. I wonder if payment would've expedited the compatibility process as we near 2 months of P3Dv4 public availability.

I installed the Soft Cloud for P3dV4, and find it to impact fps greatly, and I want to go back to use original cloud texture. Do anyone know how to get back to it, there was no backup folder or copies from Soft Cloud program. Thanks.

Perfect timing with the PMDG DC-6 just released.

So I was landing at MCO the other day in the NGX to find homes and trees on the taxiways and around the airport! Im using the default MCO scenery and OrbX. Did I do something wrong? Any idea on a fix? This is the only airport I've noticed this at so far. Then again most all of the airports I think I've been hitting lately have been payware ones since I got back to P3D since the NGX was released for v4. Any ideas?

Huh....what are the odds...was browsing the hifisimtech site and the main page went offline for about a min....refreshed and now they have AS16 for Prepar3D V4. Fantastic timing for me as I was going to the site to see where things stood with V4! Enjoy! Mark

Just installed the latest ver of UT LIVE 1.23 and it looks like they have solved the issue of no arrival traffic. All appears to work now so if you were having troubles in P3D V4 try the new build available from the UT live forums Cheers Nels

Hi, I'm having an EZDok issue which I never experienced before. Recently installed P3DV4 and now in the process of configuring/installing/etc Installed the most up-to-date version of EZDOK. Here's the issue: I have defined some VC views and when I click on a view in the aircraft-views column, P3D switches to the top-down view (I think it's called). The view with the cross where you look down on the aircraft. It should switch to the spot view. Also when in this top-down view and clicking on one of the VC views again, it stays in this top-down view. Only through the menu I can switch back to VC. I am waiting a few months until more products are V4 compatible and then I will be rebuilding my entire rig around a 4k 47" monitor. My question to anyone who may have experience with this, is should I stick with Win 7 or make a jump to Win 10? Are there any benefits in doing so, or will I be opening a can of worms with products not being supported and bugs etc etc? Cheers guys.

I've still not updated to V4 after having a break from the sim. I currently run 3.3.5 and the sim run smooth with average settings. So before i upgrade to V4 im wondering if it still will run smooth on this system: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 4GB Intel i7-4790k 4GHz 16gb RAM Windows 7 64 bit Lockheed recommends a gfx card with 8 gb, on V3 they recommend 4 gb. What do you guys think?

Hello guys, I have bin struggling with this issue for a year now, P3D stutter. I don't understand why? I tried everything. A week ago i tried a windows reset (Again 5th time) and reinstalled P3D and 3 addons, ORBX Global, Flytampa EHAM (My home airport) and the 737 NGX by PMDG, and after all of this, (With default settings!) the sim is not usable with this stutter. Maybe it has been posted before but this is my first time noticing it. I was setting up a quick flight when I noticed in my aircraft select screen was a Microsoft Corperation Airbus A320. How is that possible I built this PC in October last year and have never had anything but P3D and XP11 installed, is this an MT6 aircraft or a bug of some description? it doesn't opperate but it has a full VC, sound set and operational flaps. I will frequently buy airplanes, sceneries, utilities when I know I probably won’t use them. I spend money in two areas, flight sim and photography. I am fortunate to have the money, and I see it as a way of giving back to the community. I mention this only as a preface to my story. One of these extraneous purchases was the SUKHOI SU-26 from Alabeo. I flew it once, maybe twice and forgot about it. When I moved over to PD3 V4 I didn’t even bother to see if it would work. A question for you experts out there... Is there any reason that when I open up my scenery library within the sim, all of my addon airports are greyed out and I can't do anything with them? I can't move priority, delete, etc. This is only on the payware airports. Everything else can be moved and changed. Thanks I'd post a pick but I can't see where to do that

Recent convert from FSX. One thing that drove me mad in FSX was the tops of clouds flickering/intersecting with the tops of mountains. I was always under the impression P3D used volumetric clouds where as FSX didn't. Anyway I'm currently flying up the west cost towards Fellows VOR and the clouds are flickering like mad over the top of mountains?? Is this fixable or just how it is? I use ASP4 with ASCA if that's any use. Thanks

I had to manually download this update and now I have a zip file that contains a few dozen zip files. What do I do with this? And yep FTX Central 3 didn't work so hence I manually downloaded it. Jim

I bet i7700K will be faster on Prepar3d v3 and v4 cause Coffee Lake will have less Mhz, the ones which make fps in flight sims, cause extra cores are filled but not used. Coffe Lake aka i8700K will have 6 cores ok, but the Engineering Sample is 3.7 Ghz, therefore it will be roughly around 3.8 Ghz base a 4.2 Turbo, definitely worst than Kaby Lake. The IPC will be the same of Kaby Lake, fact. Better to buy i7700K or hope for a 4 cores Coffee Lake around 4.2 Ghz Base and 4.5 on turbo just like i7740 ? Thx https://ibb.co/ewOrjk

Hi all, FTX central keeps on crashing when I start it up, it tells me to attach a file which has not been attached as I do not know how to do this on AVSIM, but the file was called ftxc3.log. Should I copy the text log here? Thanks!

Hi guys. So I have MyTraffic setup and working via .xml. Is there any configuration that can or should be done with the communicator? Or is it pretty much just setup the .xml and use sliders in game? I see different options for schedules in the communicator but didn't know if they applied if using the .xml installation. I've found the documentation a little confusing maybe dated and can't find much on google or YouTube search. i haven't really played around with the interactive editor or livery portion yet. As the title say's, I have no idea why, how, when this could have occurred, I have what is Orbx compatiable at the moment installed, FSDT, FB which installed in there default addon manager, A1 ships, MyTraffic 6A as per the XML method, I just opened the scenery library via the P3DV4 world scenery GUI and the error appeared, would I like P3D to try and repair it? Yes, but it can't, I have no idea as to where to start, there are a few greyed out scenery layers in the library which are the FSDT and Flightbeam sceneries which were installed as per there new default addon manager arrangment, whether thats what it's referring to I have no idea, if anyones got a clue I'm all ear…

I've installed LatinVFR_KSAN_P3Dv4_1.3 but all buildings are missing from the scenery. Orbx vectors is installed and contains only one file ABP_KSAN.bgl . No matter whether active or disabled the scenery fails to show up. Feedback appreciated from users who may have had this issue and managed to solve it. Does anyone know where I can get a decent AFCAD for this scenery? I don't think his AFCAD has all the gates active or at least GSX isn't seeing all of the C gates?

Hi guys For a while I had all auto gen off, but I realized ORBX Lights didn't appear without trees, so I decided to put a few trees. Whenever I put the slider to sparse, buildings show up. I cannot stand P3D default buildings so I wanted them all off. Here's what I'm talking about: No Trees: Trees (Sparse): Am I missing something? That looks awful in my opinion. My building auto gen is on "none".

Hi, I am considering buying P3D v4. However I am pretty sure, that my system is not good enough. What do you think, would my current system be able to handle the sim with addons like ORBX, FSL A320 etc.? I am aware of that I will not be able to have all slices on the right site, but when graphics are as in FSX, it would be fine, initially.
