I have looked around but curious if there is currently a working weather add on for p3d v4 It may be too soon for this type or utility but i wanted to know if anyone has one working as of yet Peter

Please Help, I bought ORBX through Flight Sim Store and went through the process of the force migration and all was fine. I even just bought there ( ORBX TREES) with no issues. Went to buy NA Open LC and now I cant login, spoke with ORBX through email and absolutely no Help. They even said they had reset the password and that doesn't help either. No matter what I do I get the same message ( Whoops, Looks like something went wrong ) I have tried everything to include turning off any virus software and disabling the fire wall. Does anybody have any advice, I'm open please help...... Sincerely This Sucks

If I remember it right it was showcased more than one year ago claiming it was imminent, also considering the public promo video it was roughly at 85% stage. Told that and knowing that big 3rd party P3D addon software houses received the V4 many months before its public release, how comes such a huuuuge delay ? In addition there is no light at the end of the tunnel, therefore we can assume that the project has been aborted or, optimistically thinking, postponed to at least Q2-Q3 2018. If someone will eventually say " soon ", who on earth can trust him ??? Facts spoke by themsleves, in June 2016 it was also told " soon to be released ". Funny indeed …

Hello guys, I have a few questions regarding P3d V4 and REX. 1) I would like to purchase REX 4 for P3D v4. I know it isn't update for v4 yet but it soon will be. If I purchase it today from Simmarket do I need to downloaded an entire new installer doe V4 or will it just be an update? Also, is REX planning on releasing something better then REX 4 in the near future, I hate to buy it today and then in a few months find out its being replaced by something better (ie; SkyForce). 2) I currently own Soft Clouds standalone (I know it's been updated for v4). If I buy REX4 + Softclouds intergrated does that mean I get a discount? I'd just rather have one p…

Is the philosophy still the same- to install to some location outside the Program Files folder- or have Lockheed Martin and Microsoft resolved their differences? Why does LM have the default location as C:\program files even if they might not want it there?

Righto clever people of Avsim, My sim keeps crashing after clicking OK to load up a scenario. Whether its the default scenario with the F-22 or any other, i get the timer circle and then a message saying P3D had to close due to some or other non-specific issue. Have deleted the .cfg file, uninstalled and reinstalled the P3D Client, - same issue every time. The last installation I made was FTX Vector. Not sure if its related, but reaching out to check if anyone else has had this issue or can suggest a solution. cheers erich

Good day I have bought the Cessna A2A for prepar3d V4 and did an upgrade to the Comanche as well . Everything works fine the only problem is the GPS . When I get an instruction of turning and either I use the Saitek FIP button or the Saitek Pro flight multi panel I always noticed that I am off by extra 6 degrees than the real visual reading . I am trying to correct that permanently as I keep adding 6 extra degrees on what the AI is telling me to be on track. Any permanent solution for this issue I really appreciate Amr G

Hi everyone, Using P3D V4 here with i7700K @ 4.8 ghz - GTX 1070. I'm using Active Sky 2016 for the weather. I have followed their advice to set cloud cover to maximum, However when flying ( all views ) i get a horrible FPS drop with some nasty stutters. I am using default P3D clouds. Would purchasing ASCA make a difference? I've played with the settings but i just cannot work out why i'm getting this horrible performance.

Hello All, Im experiencing autogen popping, and sometimes complete lack of autogen in V4. I have no FFTF tweak and a clean config. Im running a 7700K at 5.0ghz and a Titan Xp. Is this a widespread problem? If you want to test, take off from EGCC and turn onto a heading of 150, after 5min look for autogen. Im running Open LC, UK2000, PMDG 747 and AS16. My CPU core 0 is not maxed. Ive tried all of the normal antidotes, its actually getting me down. Kind Regards James

Most of their newer products were supposed to have been released by now with V4 compatibility but it looks like it has been pushed back (again). Texture Direct + Soft Clouds was just given another month. I have $140 and wonder what addon I should get for P3D V4. I was thinking of either gettings ORBX GLOBAL or PMDG 777.

Hello all; I'm having an issue with P3D going directly to a background process. I've searched online and have already renamed my .cfg, deleted the 2 wx files, cleared my shader cache, renamed the dll.xml folder. re installed FSUIPC and I'm still unable to get it working properly. The sim was working fine until I had to use the vector AEC tool (KMEM was not at the right elevation). Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

My Prepar3D Instl is screwed up. I have been trying to uninstall but can't get it done. Every time I try to reinstall after deleting it, it says it is repairing and then comes up with a failed to repair note. How do I "totally" uninstall it? Thanks for any thoughts as I am totally frustrated at this time. Tom

Hello, I think I'm ready to make the jump. Dear old FSX has been my constant companion for many, many years and god alone knows how many hours I've spent at the helm/ yoke/ stick of so many aircraft. But great things come to an end as, it must be admitted finally, greater things come to take over. However, I'm worried about some of the more expensive payware I have and the pure costs that will/ might be entailed in the migration. Hello all! Is it me or my textures look blurry?

Hi Everyone I am a long time vanilla FSX user that never swung across to previous versions of P3D. I paid for and downloaded P3D V4 about a week after release. However at this stage i have not installed it as i am waiting for many of my favourite programs and sceneries to become settled so i wont have to go through a series of installs and reinstalls. I have been away for about three weeks but am aware that there was un update from LM for this program. My question is should i just download a whole new installer or should I install the original file then download the update? Given it is yet to be installed, would a whole new installer be the best w…
