I'm not sure who's been following FT lately but LAS has been on their map for a bit. After Haneda was pulled due to another developer working on it, ATL became the latest pin on their map. As a Delta guy myself, this would be awesome! Imaginesim ATL wasn't too bad and I had ok performance but getting FT type performance at ATL would be amazing and a first day buy for me.

Hi All, My "Add-on Scenery" selector within P3D has frozen all couatl scenery - meaning I can't enable/disable this scenery. It's greyed out, and I can't make any selections. I'd love to remove some scenery to save VAS/Frames. Any suggestions to making this scenery 'selectable' in "Add-on Scenery" drop-down in P3D? Thanks!

I already have been using PFPX for my flight planning, but have tried using EFB in the past. I wanted to know if anyone uses both and do they compliment one another? Currently I have to find my necessary charts and gather them together for each and every flight. With EFB I think the charts are dynamically updated depending on your route or flightplan that you have loaded. Does this mean if I use Aivlasoft EFB I won't have to mess with finding and using jeppesen/navigraph charts anymore? I'm still on the fence on which method would be better.

I wonder if anyone can help me. I just started using the vive with prepar3d and it is absolutely awsome. One question is how can I can get rid of the grid lines which outline the room although I am playing in a sitting position. Thank so much. Bernd

Does anyone know about an existing visual matching rule for the Orbx FTX AI aircrafts? I could try via VMR generator, but I know already that would mean manual corrections in every single aircraft.cfg file. Cheers

Just moved from FSX to P3D V4. Getting 7FPS! Using PMDG 777, AS16 is not running, clear skies, no add-on airports, no traffic...... My Rig: i7 4770K @ 3.5Ghz, 16GB Ram, GTX 970 4GB. I am getting poor cockpit textures (panel numbers and letters are blurry) What I need to know is what am I doing wrong? Is it my rig? Do I need to overclock? Do I need a better GPU? More Ram? First flight, with the Just Flight PA-28 Warrior II. I wanted to experimente other GA aircraft than A2A. Ambiance is great and the VC is full of used instruments and equipments. I love when this cockpit is not as brand new : When seated on the back, the quality of the cabin is a little lower. I was able to make FS Genesis v. 1.1 (United States) and v. 1.2 (Canada, Mexico and rest of the world) work in P3D v3. Does anyone know if it will work in P3D v. 4.0? Kind regards,

I normally look around the cabin, out the window by holding the space bar and using the mouse. the cursor changes to a cross hair icon. when you release the space bar the view should change back to a pointer. Right. If I try this it locks the view and the sim is useless. What is wrong? I have FSX and P3dv3 installed on seperate drives without this issue. Even re loaded the whole full download today. same as before.

I'm trying to locate where I can get AFM2 RC2 from PILOT's -- it's not in my purchases downloads and PILOT's web site announces it but doesn't provide any links or how to get it? Sadly there is no PILOT's forum for their mesh product, only for their weather product. I had this happen several years ago and for the life of me can't remember how I fixed it. My hat switch pan will not work - it stays locked in position. I set and reset it in the Controls options, but it remains locked. Would someone help me figure out this very dumb lapse of memory? Thanks.

Hi folks, I am thinking of buying FSRealtime because I'm getting a tad cheesed off with the way time is treated in the sim; I'm not quite sure what is actually happening, but from other posts I've read it seems to be considered more a feature than a bug. All I know is that when I load up the sim anywhere outside of the UK time zone (so GMT+0) I never get UTC and there is a disparity between UTC and local time, which FSRealtime in demo mode seems to fix. There have been posts about this before but I just wanted views experiences, mainly because I know how sensitive the sim is and the introduction of one single tool can naff the whole thing up. Hi Elaine I tried to follow your guide, but when I try to use the MT6 Communicator/Manage Prepar3Dv2/v3, it brings up a message in the dialogue box 'Not Installed'. Where do I go next? I have checked and verified that I do have MT6a and most certainly have P3Dv4, and ran MT6a as Admin. Any help appreciated.

Specifically, is there an entry in the control panel to uninstall any or all of the global parts to put P3dv4 back together as it was before the FTX install. I know FTX central does offer 'uninstall' but as far as I can tell that only de-activates that part in the scenery library. Thank you. Bob

Well I have finally bought P3Dv4, and I agree with the majority of posters here on Avsim - it is great. Now I need to update some of my aircraft. I expect this question has been asked here before, but cannot find it among the hundreds of posts: since I have P3Dv3 versions of A2A's Cherokee and Comanche, I understand that I can get the upgraded versions at no additional cost? I have noted on the A2A site that all one needs to do is to download the latest versions and they will be P3Dv4 compatibie. Have tried to do this but there is no option but to buy it. Have also posted this question on A2A's site, but no answer as of yet. Can anyone here help?

I flying now OEJN to KJFK Jeddah Saudi Arabia to New York Real time flying ours is 13Hrs On my sim it is 18 flying hours. How could it be this far since i am using actual RTE of 5673 Nautical miles i found that with the converting ecuagen 5673÷303= 18.7Hrs thnc

Hello, Recently tried some night flying. Noticed that when I load sim (no matter what aircraft, third party or P3d planes) that my frames start around 2-3 fps. Then after I switch views, they come up to 30-40. I have dynamic lighting on. Use orbx global and vector. Anyone have an idea what might be causing the frames to be so low to start? system 6700k 1070 gtx 16 gb ram thanks Scott Gerfen

The one thing I do miss is a decent playback facility - once you have done all the hard work - it is 'good' to watch it back. Has anybody found a way to install FSRecorder into P3D V4 - or is this the opportunity for an enterprising person to come up with a new playback facility.

I find MSAA lags quite a bit, especially when flying through dense clouds with Active Sky Next for my Prepar3Dv3 game. May someone please provide me with an updated AA setting they use to bar this from happening - whilst still maintaining a good-looking simulator - through NVidia Inspector? (Please do not refer me to another posting - they're all obsolete at this point.) Thank you.

Hi. I have spent a lot of time to find a good settings but I still have small jagged edges in VC and on external view. I tried tons of settings, without Nvidia, with Nvidia inspector, different Nvidia drivers and it still looks bad. I was told that NVIDIA inspector would not help much so I was wondering how can I revert everything back and clear all those setting NVIDIA inspector applied. Thx for looking.

Hello all, I'm currently suffering with Crash to Desktop in Prepar3D V4. I'm flying the PMDG 747-400 from Munich to Newark and keep getting CTD's when I click on the desktop. I've opened up the Event Viewier and my fault appears to relate to something called KERNELBASE.dll. Does anyone know anything about this error and how to fix it? I have been simming since commodare 64 days and have owned all the Microsoft Flight Simulators. I fly mainly the big airliners (PMDG, FSL320, majestic q400). I have moved from FSX to p3d v4. I had my settings in FSX well tweaked and could just fly (oom of course once in a while and not as great visually as P3d v4). I am struggling to get the right balance at busy airports. Here is my dilemma. Specs are i7 4770 4.5 ghz, HT on, GTX 970, 1920x1080, as16, asca orbx, ftx MT6 25%, fsuipc limiting traffic and mainly fly PMDG 777 till my other favorites come out.
