Hi there, I wonder if someone might be able to offer some advice on Dino Cattaneo's freeware T-45C Goshawk. Try as I might I just cannot seem to be able to get the engine started, in Prepar3Dv4 (which on his blog says should work just fine). I am following the Checklist items ... Batt 1 & Batt 2 switches ... ON (Volts 24V) Fuel Cutoff switch ... On (Open) Engine Start switch ... ON All I get now is the sound of the engine trying to spool up and then, the sound just "zips" and tries to start again ... ad infinitum. I came across and notice something unique about this plane and that it had an EFB which I never seen in a PMDG 777 before. Does anyone know how this is done? Could it be some add-on?

HI also, getting back into the flying game, I tried logging into vpilot today. Wow, it is empty. However, the few planes I saw, SOME of them were black, or only the fuselage was black. Or worse, only the lights were visible. Is that because of v4? or something else? vkr victor

Hello, I have just Switched from FSX to Prepar3DV4 with Installation of following Addons: - PMDG 777 - Ultimate Terrain X 2.0 - Orbx Global Base - Orbx Europe - Orbx Germany North - Justsim Düsseldorf and Hamburg - Flytampa Athens and Dubai - Active Sky Prep3DV4 and ASCA I am experiencing a really bad Performance for both Justsim Airports (20-25 FPS) and a really good Performance for Flytampa (35-45 FPS). Especially at Night with activated Dynamic Lightning. Do you observe the same in your Sim or do you have an Idea why its that difference or if there is a way for improvement. Been spending a good deal of time flying this great plane. Usually no issues, but today I was attempting a flight form Aberdeen to Glasgow Scotland, and about halfway through the flight the left engine failed. A few minutes later the right engine failed. I was able to land safely in a field, but was not able to find out what had gone wrong. I restarted the flight, and was more careful about not overstressing the engines, and generally watching the instruments and keeping everything within limits. I made the flight successfully, but after landing at Glasgow as I was taxiing to parking, the left engine suddenly died. The right engine kept working and I was able to taxi off …

Hello, Each time I approach ENTC airport my P3D V4 crashes , no error messages? Some one else also?

I used Poppet's method to install MT 6a and do not see any way to set traffic. It appears to be loading 100% of the aircraft. Almost every parking space has an airliner: gates, ramp, hangars, etc. I did not activate the My Traffic Communicator as Poppet said { I believe), that it was not needed. Again I need some help. I installed P3D v4 in my D drive, but it created P3D v4 add ons in C drive, this is my SSD drive and I don't have enough memory to install the add ons to it, this is also install automatically addons to this folder in C drive Can I change it or move it in someway? And how to do it ? Thank you .

I love Prepar3dv4 so much over FSX for many, many reasons...lack of.OOM's being the most appreciated. HOWEVER, I find that the VC's are very dark compared to FSX. All other lighting is acceptable and even more desirable. How can I tweak JUST the VC to make it brighter? Stan

When I open FTX Central there is a notice to update. I click on the update and it ask me which simulator so I pick one and then it goes back to the main window and again ask me to update. This could go on all night.

I can't figure out how to install these properly into P3Dv4. I have AS4+ASCA and PTA. So which ones do I need to download and install? And is it necessary to restore your shader cache to the default in PTA before installing a new preset? or can I just simply install a new preset without restoring to the default shader cache? Hi I have recently installed the Realair Turbine Duke V2 P3D version into P3Dv4 just by telling the installer where the P3Dv4 folder is and so far everything works great. I have now upgraded to the recent P3Dv4 version of the GTN 750 GPS but for some reason its not showing up in the Realair config utility so I can't install it in the Duke. Can anyone tell me how to get the (P3dv4) GTN 750 into the Turbine Duke Virtual Cockpit ?

I have obtained three crash to desktop trying to do this flight, EGFF > LEBB. I have ORBX sceneries of Global, England and Wales and their airports Cardiff and Bilbao. I was flying with carenado a525 cj2 and GTN 750, the two specifically for p3d v4 version (I have not installed anything for previous versions to avoid future errors...). It seems P3d v4 crash when the plane is just changing from England to ftx Global scenary. Have you noticed any problem in the case of changing between orbx scenaries? or maybe, it could be another task...

Hi, Folks: Does anyone know if the QW British Aerospace Avro RJ85 is 100% compatible with P3Dv3.4?. At the F1 site it says it is compatible with P3Dv1.4 which is quite obsolete now. Thanks in advance for any help. Cheers, Ed

I used Poppet's manual method to install MT 6a into P3D v4. There is now plenty of traffic but there does not seem to be any aircraft taxiing/landing/etc. Lots of movement by ground vehicles. Tried several airports that should have active aircraft traffic but all static. Is there some setting I have missed? Help appreciated. N Howard

Flying high over Canada from Saskatoon to Billings-Logan and notice the outside. Does this seem right to you? To me its kinda "checkery". Not ugly but feels "off" and I don't have any reference to compare to. I have Global, Vector and US LC, and some other regions and fields not applicable to the region flying in right now.

This is just awesome. After RealAir shut down their product line and I missed the train to get the upgrade to P3D, I got this awesome aircraft working in v4 despite it being an FSX product. Controls and effects + sound all work as far as I can tell. It's really simple and won't mess up your P3D installation. For anyone attempting to do the same, create a folder named "RealAIr Turbine Duke" or something like that and install the aircraft in there. After the installation when it asks you to define the simulator directory simply point it to P3Dv4. Then go to the P3Dv4 Addons folder under My Documents and also create a folder there named "Turbine Duke" or whatever contai…

Hello everybody, I'm currently trying to get Radar Contact 4 working with P3D V4, but it's proving to be quite the task. In the event that I just decided to get another ATC program, which one do you guys recommend? Most of my flying if in airliners, and mostly in the US. However, I do international flights often as well. So far the one I'm seeing that appeals to me the most is Pro ATC as it seems the most fluid in terms of the sounds during communications, etc. I'd like an ATC program that I can use with any plane (Pro ATC not sure if works with all planes as I read something about the flight planning part not supporting all planes? Sorry if this is a known issue, but when i searched the forum, nothing came up. Im running P3D v4 on Win10. When I start up P3D and get to the start menu, the time i set in the date and time window doesnt take effect. I just tried starting it up, and the time in the date time window was the current system time of: 18:50. So i changed it down to 14:50. But when the sim loaded up, the time was 18:50. I tried going to the options and deselecting the "use system time" option, same issue. I tried different aircraft, same issue. Any ideas? Is this a known thing?
