Hi all, FSUIPC5 isn't reading offsets (for annunciators) on my pmdg 737. Fsuipc is able to read offsets from the standard list such as generic parking brake. I've enabled the data broadcast in the pmdg config file. Any ideas? p.s. I understand that there has been some similar topics made like this in the past, but from what I've seen none of them have a final outcome.

I am thinking of buying a new aircraft. Both great for Delta V. The TDFi 717 looks the nuts! and I am not keep on Aerosoft aircraft. If you have the TDFi 717 would like to hear your feedback. No sure I need anymore on the CJ but if anyone has both it would be good to hear. Am all ears :) Thanks.

I've had a problem with GSX in P3DV3.4(Ground Services X) it was running as normal until it try to get the menu up, in game (CTRL + SHIFT + F12) i tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it as demo still no luck, GSX is in the Add-ons bar and everything is there, i tried restarting couatl and regenerate airport cache and tried again, still nothing. Any Help would really mean alot

Hey everyone, this is first post on avsim forum so I'm already apologizing for any mistakes! Recently I let FSX go and moved to P3D v4, most add-ons work just fine, but there are some areas (like LPPT and EHAM at least) that have both the add-on and some crappy photorealist scenery. I've tried changing the positions in the scenery library and reinstalling and it still is the same, any ideas on how to solve this problem? So I finally pulled the trigger and purchased envtex and PTA to add to AS16 and ASCA. So far though - I don't see any difference in my screen shots. I thought I was doing this right as the UI's didn't seem that difficult to me. Is there any crucial step I may have missed? I installed envtex, went to settings, chose the active sim, ASCA folder, the integration type, the PTA folder, enabled shaders, set envtex to global normal and then saved. I then ran "Install" it did its thing, then exported the PTA profile. I went in to PTA next, opened up the preset "PTAbsolute natural", chose apply preset. FIred up the sim, and I'm sitting here at SFO and not noticing really an…

Late next week I will be getting my new computer and I will be using P3D v4. What are some add-on's that are must have for P3D v4? I see Edit Voicepack is now payware for P3D v4 so I will be getting that. But what other things should I get (like stuff for weather)? Also what are some good freeware planes to download? I am currently a FS9 user and I am guessing all of my favorite FS9 planes will not work in P3D so I will need some good planes. I would be looking for military, commercial, general aviation/biz jets, and helicopters. I know of a lot of real good payware stuff, but I will not have much money left after I pay for the computer. I installed FTX Norway and Airports of Norway. I just landed at ENVA (Trondheim) but there were clear elevation problems: the photoreal was floating a meter above the actual runway and I sunk through the photoreal when I landed. I checked the included elevation data and there is a file from FTX but none from AoN. Still AoN doesn't seem to play well with the FTX elevation data. Anyone knows how to fix this?

I bought FSX and most of my Orbx scenery through Flightsim shop and transferred the registration details to Orbx when they went to the FTX central interface. I re-installed FSX today to compare it with FSW frame rates and textures, and although FTX Central recognised all of my purchases I do not seem to be able to get it to download and install the Pacific North West Region. I crashed out of install 3 times and was told to post a screen dump of the error log on the support forum. I could not log onto the support forum even with my sream log in. Does anyone know the best way to accomplish this? I would like to be able to monitor/control my flights remotely, especially for those extremely long flights over 3+ hours. I can't sit that long at my desk and need to step away and do other things. I'm not sure which app would be suited best for this type of situation. There are so many of them on the app store. But I would prefer something with low latency for better response. I tried using the Microsoft Remote Desktop, but everytime I connect to my desktop, Prepar3D pops up a window saying it can't work in remote mode and I have to quit it.

Hi, What options are there for replacing the weather and cloud textures in P3Dv4? Will an earlier version of Active Sky for FSX work somehow, or are there other solutions? Even though the entire atmosphere within the sim looks far more real than ever accomplished before, I do have occasional cloud texture flash and grow weary of not having real weather. After all, picking the presets, including the heavy ORBX settings becomes old after awhile. What is the best and most natural solution here? Looking for some advice on getting both of these planes to show up in P3DV4 at the same time. At the moment only the plane listed first in my C:\Users\gb\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\add-ons.cfg is available for selection in the sim vehicle selection screen. When loaded, both individual planes work perfectly so you would think there is nothing wrong with each plane's add-on.xml. I have a sidewinder 2 that i have had forever and works great, How do i set up the center hota's switch to get a quick 90 degree view left or right? I have tried in the assignments area but can only get a slow pan or a notch movement, I just want a quick look right and return center when i release the hota's, or left 90 degrees and return. I would like to use avatar mode for my walk arounds and plane spotting. I have some questions regarding its use. Whenever I'm inside my cockpit and hit CTRL+SHIFT+E to enter Avatar mode... it sets my guy way zoomed out, so everything appears distorted, how can I change the default zoom level? Is there a way I can change the default character to something other than the guy with white shirt and blue jeans whenever I enter avatar mode? How can I control my avatar with an xbox controller that's been configured for Chaseplane?

On my PC (CPU 4770k@ 4,4 GHZ and GTX 1080 at 4k Resolution) and 60fps blocked (unlimited the same) I have perfekt smooth panning only with the R22 Robinson. Any other plane has a very little but disturbing jittering by panning around. Does anyone has the same experience? And if so: any idea what is the reason? The missing AP of the R22? Any idea how to block anything by the other planes too? Many Greetings Leo

I've got my P3Dv4 fired up, Active Sky for p3d loaded up with Harvey looming off the coast. Now what? First, what's a good plane? I found that any small planes (piper meridian, etc.) tend to flip over on the runway. Anyway to stop that? I've got the old FS-KBT P-3 Orion working in P3Dv4, so that's what I'm trying now, but open to suggestions. Second, how do you map a flight plan with GPS waypoints in the storm? Thanks! sg

Hi, I emailed IS, but I didn't receive a response. I purchased 4 titles that are updated to V4 from Simmarket. IS, for some reason, no longer sells their products at Simmarket, so you can't download the updated installers. They only sell at the Flightsim Store and Flight1. Does anyone know how to get the installers if you purchased from Simmarket?

Don't really know if this is the right place to ask but everytime I start P3D v4 Oculus also starts up. I don't want that. Is there any way to stop this from happening?

in FSX I used Opus FSI for creating custom cockpit views. Does P3Dv4 have any similar built-in functionality ? Any other software besides ezDok that does the same in P3Dv4 ? Thanks

I am very bad at that (along with so many other things) nor I have Photoshop. I'm flying around the world with an Alabeo Cessna 404 Titan, changing from time to time between default liveries including the white one. I feel like a pirate. Is there any program in the market to help a mostly good for nothing man to put at least the reg tag onto the tail of the plane. Thanks a lot.

Hi falks some one of you know if i can download an update of BaseData airports scenery in P3Dv x.x. A lot of them miss or are a new ICAO or placement or simply deleted in the world . the problem i encountered if you have a plane with FMC and AIRACS uptodate some departure or arrival are not in the data FMC an exemple SEQU is in the P3Dv x.x or FSX but it change since 2013, AIRACS yes are good, but SEQM new airport, you don't find in the list selection in P3D.. And this for a lot of area base ICAO . i find one SEQM for FSX 2015 and place it in ADDONCENERY but the other ?? Patrick

I notice that i am getting this strange flickering issues when using technobrain’s RJAA Haneda. The problem doesnt happen using their other airports. So I’ve come to the conclusion that it has something specific to do with this particular scenery. The flicker issues goes away after flying away from the airport.

Hello everyone, I'm currently having an issue that's bugging me since I have a VATSIM event tonight... So yesterday I installed FSUIPC4 for vEZY smartCARS to work properly... To my surprise, I woke up today to start up a flight and test the ACARS system, yet P3Dv3 kept on crashing and/or taking so long and eventually not starting up... If anyone has a clue concerning what's happening with my sim please do reply, I URGENTLY NEED YOUR HELP... ;(

Any issues with the way I have things ordered? I installed in the order I saw another thread. I did FreeMeshX, UTX, ORBX LC, then FTX Global Base. Right now, my ORBX LC is used for everything since it's at a higher priority. Is there any part of the UTX USA package that is better than ORBX LC so that I should consider layering them and using a bit of both?
