Hi Can any one tell me why when I start PD3 using Dash8 400, it fails to load and kicks me out to my desk top. have down loaded latest drivers for my Nivida. It takes me up to 3 attempts to get it to load. Thanks Capt Disaster.

I'm just about ready to go nuts. Been reading every line of the helpful pages on the Mindstar website on how to retrofit their G1000 into other aircraft but I'm seriously at a loss. I'm not a programmer and I'm not very familiar with the logic of how games work. I'm really not good at it. Can someone please help me out? It's supposedly easy since they already have the Mustang profile. So, my HTC Vive arrived yesterday. I didn't have alot of time to try out p3d, but I promised myself that that would be one of the very first things I would do. Today I sucessfully took a trip in the Aerosoft A321 in full 3D. No words can really explain the sensation. My stomach even felt it when I banked to the right..! I got an increadibly smooth landing due to the new hightened perception of height. The level or realism cant really be compared to anything I have experienced in simming before - the only thing that it can be compared to is sitting in the real aircraft. It's no joke! Hello all, I'm having scenery issues around the Canary Islands where the sea and one of the Islands I don't have scenery for are very blocky, as in you can see the tiles and in some cases the sea is across the land. I've tried running the Vector tool and it is still the same after running it. I am in the process of learning the nuances of Prep3DV4 but still have and use FSX. I want to find the answer to a riddle of Prep3D. I refer to the apparent gap between ATC comms and FMS operations. It appears that one can have either an up to date whizz bang FMC or one can have ATC comms but not both. The options for the two technologies to work together in Prep3D are just about none existent as far as I can tell. The only popular exception to this rule (that I know of) is the QW 757 in FSX which has the ability to load an FSX flight plan into the FMS and use that for the flight giving both FMS navigation and ATC comms facilities. Does anybody know if the 64-bit sound file fixes the missing sounds for this aircraft? Also, has anyone been able to access the config pop-up in the sim, with cold and dark settings, etc.?

Tonight I fired up P3D 4.1 and was shocked to see that all of a sudden Nvidia 3D Vision was working. I had not used P3D for a couple of months due to time constraints. I did a quick buzz around so I did not get to test it that much. That will come tomorrow night. I did not make any setting changes. I might have updated the driver but not started the sim. I am flabbergasted as I was under the impression that P3D did not support 3D vision. I thought it was a P3D issue not a driver issue. Can anyone comment on this?

Has there been any rumors about the FlyTampa Boston release other than “early 2018”? Just curious if there has been any new chatter.

Hello everybody, Since some days I have some green circles everywhere in my sceneries, when flying, and i don't know what is it and how to remove that (it's a little annoying). Hi all, I have been using UT2 on FSX and have now installed Prepare 3D4. I wish to keep FSX in operation until I am ready to move permanently to Prep3D when I am more familiar with it. I have UT2 working nicely in FSX and have purchased UTL for use with prepare 3D. I have a concern that installing UTL in Prep3d4 may threaten or destroy my FSX UT2 installation. I would be most grateful if any members shed any light or give any advice on this potential hazard or am I just suffering a bad case of paranoia. John

Hi After doing many flights in P3D V4.1 and putting so much effort in flight planning, I find that there are Major Airports are missing such as VTBS. But also some airports are missing ILS frequency or the frequency is incorrect for certain runways e.g. LLBG ILS of Runway 8 is missing and so on. NAV cycles are correct and frequency shows in FMC but is either missing or incorrect in P3D. Is there a tool to edit/add ILS frequency like it was in FSX. I would appreciate your help and advise in this issue Regards Bill Hagag

Just trying to add Skyforce in for P3d v4. I use AS4, Asca on a networked computer no problem. With Envtex on my main flight PC. Want to add Rex Skyforce to that setup and I've seen the well written guide. I can't for the life of me get Skyforce to browse to my Prepar3d folder on my other computer. I've spent 10 hours on tech support trying to solve why I can't get it to show up in my network. Question is, can I use Skyforce on my flight sim PC with AS4 and asca on my networked PC? if anyone can help me sort this I'd be so appreciative cheers, Jason

I've been pretty vocal (in a not too positive way, I have to add) about REX's marketing of Sky Force and the problems and lack of support I had to get it running, so well, I think it is only fair then to also be pretty vocal about my appreciation of Sky Force now everything is actually working. I am enjoying my clouds immensely now. Take note that I come from the freeware HDE clouds so I might have taken a greater leap forward than those who have been using other texture addons but anyway, I have never seen such beautiful and varied clouds in my sim as I am seeing now. Good day I am looking to purchase a new computer in which I plan to put Prepar3d V4 on. Pardon my lack of hardware and programming knowledge (as illustrated by my questions). Basically these are the basic specs Intel i7 8700k Nvidia GTX 1080 16 gb ram and 512GB SSD + 2TB 7200RPM SATA 6Gb/s Here then are my 2 questions 1. If you have a similar hard drive set up to that listed above, did you put Prepar3d v4 on the SSD (is there room in addition to the Windows 10 OS)? 2. If yes, how do you set the path for P3d add ons to be found on the non SSD drive? Thank you Robert Marton

For those of us using Ultimate Traffic Live in P3dv4, there is now a separate program with 3D sounds that is specifically made for UTL aircraft. It adds "surround sound" to the UTL aircraft and works well. I was a beta tester.

Never had any issues with FSX until the October W10 update when (even after only 30 minutes or so) I started having frequent OOM issues. Soooo to the dark side come have I :) I run a three-screen generic cockpit - screens in pyramid formation with low-left being the default/main and on which I set up P3D; low-right for FSCommander and top-screen (40") for scenery/views ahead from the cockpit. I had P3D running on all cylinders with FSC, RC4, AS16, and all three-screens performing as required. However, since yesterday after the sim is set up instead of starting on the default (low-left) waiting to be undocked and moved to the 40" it now loads onto my T…

Has anyone had this happen. After takeoff doesn’t matter what plane I’m in (all) it will pitch aggressively up on its own and I need to fight it to a stable climb. Some times it happens more than once. I’ve used pmdg 737 and it disables AP and pitches up by its self as well. Not sure what’s going on with the sim. It’s not all the time but the last 5 flight I’ve done in bonanza , pmdg 737 etc. it has just pitched on its own after takeoff.

I bought PF3 because I thought it was going to be a malleable piece of ATC software where, for example, if it started giving stupidly large approach patterns (like some other ATC programs), you'd be able to tweak it so it didn't. However, I've done about 5 flights since my major sim overhaul to P3D v4 and every flight has been filled with problems, particularly from PF3. Hi there, is there a possibility to fix road traffic back lights? Viewing road traffic from a close up position all cars have red back lights, but these turn white at a distance not to far off. So I was wondering if that's just a mip map issue which could easily be fixed. From digging through textures it seems that cars indeed share some sort of light texture but I couldn't find it. So any hints on that? I think it would add quite a bit of immersion having these red lights at distance also. Best regards connan

I'm switching to P3D v4 after many years on FSX-SE and FSX. Question regarding sceneries....can you use sceneries that are updated to v2 and v3 in P3D v4? Thanks, Paul K KGYR

The GLJ 25 documentation shows a picture of the optional RealityXP GTN 750/650 installed. I would like this same set-up with the Flight 1 versions. The documentation seems clear but I am still having a problem. Does anyone have the Flight 1 versions installed and would you be willing to share the related sections of your panel.cfg file? Thanks,

Are there any? I did some research and didn't find any... the FlightSimWare looks like a 3 year old cardboard cutout. Are there any planned by some good developers?
