I'm hoping a different title will tease up an answer to this puzzler since I bought it up under a different tile on 12/3/17 and never got a reply. Since installing P3D 3.4 a few months ago, from 3.0, rather than display in order the output to the ATC window as it did since the dawn of time, the ATC message wants to either disappear completely necessesitating resizing the window in order to see text, OR it closes out the statement and uses 'Previous...' or something along those lines to have to click to bring up the most recent output. Just a quick question - I've been giving Simbrief a go for flight planning and was just wondering does it provide sids and stars? I think I saw a SID assigned on the last flight I tried with it but I dont see anything about the destination route? For instance, it was just JFK to RBV, and then I had no flight plan and had to essentially wait until vox provided something. Normally with PFPX I have something to go on, and if it changes then I update the FMC accordingly. Am I doing something wrong or does it not provide any info for the arrival?

Considering grabbing CS757 but was wondering if there's any news from Level-D apart from what was already announced in June. It's been 6 months...

RealAir Duke Turbine V2 P3Dv4 HSI question I installed the RealAir Duke Turbine V2 into P3Dv4 using the current installer (thank you Sean Moloney). The installation went without any errors. I am using the F1 GTN750 in the VC panel. During a test flight I noticed the HSI deviation needle is locked at the far left max CDI deviation position when in GPS NAV mode (screenshot). Note : the HSI in the FSX and P3Dv3 versions are deflecting properly. I just want to verify it is correct for the P3Dv4 installation. https://imgur.com/a/56Y9x

Hi all, We are currently developing a new Delco Carousel INS for FSX and P3D. Although the unit is being developed for use in a couple of upcoming classic airliners, we would also like to make them available for use in other aircraft. The INS is obviously quite a complex unit and not the most intuitive thing to use, and therefore we are currently looking for experienced simmers to help us to test it. 1. May I use without their Weather Engine separately 2. Does it include REX SOFT-like textures. It's my primary texture pack since 2015. 3. On small and medium rps of the engine, when the landing lights are switched on, during the movement of the aircraft, dark spots appear, emanating from the headlights and chaotically moving ahead of the headlights. When the airplane with the headlights on does not move, the spots disappear. Give a link on this issue, if anyone knows any causes, please. I do not read English well, so it's hard for me to find this topic on the forum. Thanks.

Hello all, A quick question on level of complexity Been mulling over the purchase of the QW 757 for FS2004. I already have and am enjoying the QW Bae146 and I am looking for comments from people who have the IFly737 and the QW757. Is there anybody who can compare the complexity of the two. It is only the depth of systems that concern me as I have great faith in the quality of the 757 being great. I also ask this question mainly because I note with some trepidation, that the conversion regarding the 787 has largely died off with a few detractors. At the moment I'm running FSX/Acceleration on a system with the following specs. FSX/Acceleration (boxed) Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit Processor i7-6700 @ 3.00GHz Installed Physical Memory 8.00GB Graphics GTX 970 4GB What Would be involved in changing over to Prepar3D v4? And what is the best way to transfer all my ORBX and other additions? Any help will be appreciated. Regards Ray

I have the Logitech Z506 surround speakers. No matter what I do when changing the volume, I get what I would call "sound spikes" where the volume will get really loud at some points when increasing, then go back down. As far as I can tell, everything is plugged in correctly. Has anyone else had this? If so, what do you do to resolve it? Also, I have noticed that when flying in 4.1 (only noticed with FSlabs so far bc that is all I have flown) occasionally I will get popping or cracking sound. Does anyone know what causes this and how to fix? Someone mentioned to me it might have to do with overclocking but I'm not 100% sure. Thanks I didn't see a forum for sou…

I have just fired up the F/A 18 Hornet, the Microsoft version that comes with the P3D V4 install. I am missing the MFDs. Anyone know what's going on? Am I missing a gauge file?

Yesterday I did a flight into AS EDDT and parked at the gate I started playing around a bit with the configurator for EDDT since I thought my FPS was a bit low for this kind of airport. After unchecking moving traffic everywhere but on the apron my FPS increased from about 33 FPS to about 38-39 FPS. Today I installed KB4056892 and now when starting P3D using the same situation meaning same a/c, same exact location (haven't touched P3D since yesterday) my FPS is just above 30 rather than the 38-39 FPS I had yesterday before shutting P3D down. Love p3dv4, but one thing thats annoying is the big stars. When I look up, it looks so unrealistic. Is there any good texture replacements that you know of, to make them smaller and much denser? I looked at this one: Chris Bell Creative Design Studios - Stargazer Project. Anyone with experience with this product?

After update to 1709 with WINDOWS 10, P3D v3 is not working. It load ok but can not fly, the propeller on the MJCQ400 turn very slow, one turn by minute, same for all airplane, and jet. I don't know if I erase and download V3 again with last update for V3, this with help. I play with the configuration for P3D with no success. FSX is working OK Pierre Dupuis

I am new to this...just purchased Ultimate Traffic Live. I have added the UPS and FedEx routes found in the avsim library. I am trying to find just a couple of links to UPS and FedEx AI models and repaint to add... Can anyone point me to a few that are P3DV4 compatible?

Is there any texture set that eliminates the painted-on (image-based) roads? I've never like the approach of seeing areas of random roads just running all over the place. I assume there are add-ons that will add "actual" roads back in (a la x-plane) but those painted roads... ouch.

OK - let's keep this civil. The Skyforce textures seem to be working out really well. My only problem is the engine doesn't seem to be injecting any clouds. The OAT seems to change but no clouds. I did all the help text things. Cheers bs

Is anyone working on the conversion of the 32 Bit $F18_A_GAUGES1.dds and FA_18.dll to 64 Bit? I used the Migration Tool program to move all my FSX AC into P3D V4.1 and everything made it over with the exception of the F-18. I even tried moving the AC and gauges over manually: no joy.There are now just hollow spaces where the PFD/MFD used to be. I've searched the web and forums extensively: no joy. I've downloaded and installed all available freeware F-18: no joy. And yes, I have C++ 2005 and the FSX SDK: still no joy. It appears the only V4.1 compatible F-18 is the VRS Superbug for $60. I'm noticing this across multiple weather programs (rex skyforce, AS16 etc...) During certain low visibility conditions, scenery is visible through fog (maybe it is a cloud layer?). I'm on a GTX 1080 - using 388.71 (the latest) and don't remember this happening a few months ago. Just wondering if anyone else has gotten this, and if there is a fix, if any. This scenery was orbx SOCAL + KSAN.
