How good / complex are these add-ons ? I confess I was totally unaware if it until... last week ! Seen some videos and was very positively impressed by it. Any comments / suggestions / opinions really appreciated 😎

Dont have anything to prove this, but I was just flying along in the PMDG 747 at night (SLC - PDX), and all of a sudden, 3 tear drop shaped objects moved horizontally from right to left outside. It was like this blue glow, kinda like a lightsaber glow and as soon as one disappeared, another one would appear. They were only on screen for about a second so couldnt capture it. Anyone know if this is some P3D affect or am I going crazy? Lol

Hi all, I'm now running version 4.5 with the hotfix. I'm also using Chaseplane - Over the past few flights i have noticed a sound stutter when changing views from cockpit to outside and vice versa, Does anyone else have this? I'm not sure if its normal as i'm contemplating a fresh sim reinstall. I just can't recall having it there before. Thank you.

Hi every one, I have wondered if one could not get the fix, that airport vehicles hold back when a plane crosses their way by taxi into and out of the gate ??? I'm a little tired of always being "hit" when I need to, for example. into the gate. Just curious, do these clash together? I read on the Rex site EF does post processing or something like that which I thought that was what Envshade did. Thinking of running AS, Rex SF, Rex TD, and EF and Envshade if I can or if it's even needed?

I did a search for peoples opinions regarding this release and I couldn't find much of anything here on Avsim. The aircraft was released back in mid January of this year. Hello guys, I noticed a weird behavior on my aerosoft airbus, right after takeoff the aircraft will turn on its own and also on final approach turned as well almost making me miss the runway, both situations im flying manual, also did the controls calibration and the issue continues, any ideas why? I have all my controls under FSUIPC and other addons wont do this, I have a T6000 joystick for the airbus and the saitek quadrant for the throttles, please let me know any ideas? thanks. P3DV4.4

Hello All, I'm sure this has happened to some of you with high mesh resolution settings. When a user flies over a runway with a "cliff" or sharp terrain changes on final, and at or slightly below the glide slope with a "heavy aircraft"; P3D will suck the aircraft in the ground. I have been flight simming for 19 years. I am a pilot in real life. I got a nice sim PC last fall (8700k + 1080), got P3D (I think it was 4.3 at the time), REX 4 TD +SC, and thought, wow, this is great! This is how it was supposed to be all along. I got the A2A Cherokee (basically the same plane I have in real life), and I was happy. Then came v4.5. I thought, wow, this is really a step up from 4.4 - impressive! Hello I apologise if this question has been asked before in this forum but at the moment unable to find an answer. When using Environment Force with Skyforce do I have to start Skyforce and leave it running whilst running Environment Force so that real-time 3D cloud Models can be updated and syncronised? I'm at my wit's end here. I reinstalled P3D V3 as it was a years' old installation with performance degrading and too many mods installed. I uninstalled it completely using the uninstaller, then removed all of the remaining associated folders and files and registry entries. I then reinstalled it onto a new SSD drive with a different drive letter. The problems began when I tried reinstalling add ons which require simconnect to function. While the addons appear in the addon menu, their functionality is broken. Example: FSLabs Concorde uses some gauges which interface with simconnect. I'm using P3Dv4.4 with several Orbx products, including multiple regions, Global base and vector. Do they include a terrain mesh component? I remember noticing a few months ago that one or two of my "heavy" AI planes were parking at gates that were too small for them. After checking to make sure that the parking radius at these gates was correct, I had a look at the wingspan definitions in the respective aircraft.cfg files.....amd noticed that the values were way too low. Well, I have just found another two after noticing additional parking irregularities. The wingspans of the Airbus A350-900 and A330F should be 212.4 and 197.9 feet respectively, but the values in my aircraft.cfg files for these two planes (FSPX A350 and TFS A330F) were 155.4 and 126.5!! Has anyone had any issues with the custom autogen from these two developers, specifically with their autogen basically wiping out Orbx's trees in P3D? All of the other addon scenery I have that relies on ACM to merge autogen definitions works just fine, but for some reason the scenery from these two developers completely wipes out my vegetation, which also means less night lighting at night. I have a handful of both JustSim and TropicalSim products and would like to be able to use them fully, but no luck. I typically add scenery manually, after installing to a dummy folder, via the addon xml method. I wonder if I'm doing something that's causing an issue. I rel…

Hi All, I have just noticed that when I press Shift +1, Shift +2, Shift +3 etc, in my VCs none of the panels appear any longer. A box outline appears fleetingly and then disappears. This makes flying very difficult. It is not aircraft dependent, affecting all planes I have tried from default to add on. In a pane where I have GTN750 installed I did briefly luckily get the GTN back on Shift +3 but none of the other panels (eg the maintenance hanger in A2A Cherokee for example) appear. Hello, Back in the Days with FS9 / FSX I had this incredible useful Program called AI Smooth, which made sure that the AI Traffic went, as the name implies, "smooth" and that not like 10 Planes fly the Approach at the same time. Does anyone know if there is a similiar Tool available for Prepar3D V4? I own UT Live and London Heathrow for example looks like this :/ Thank you!

Hi, I already own PMDG 737, PMDG 777 and Majestic Q400. I want something new to try this year, something refreshing but cool and modern (has to look great in VR). Majestic Q400 and PMDG 737 look great in VR but the 777 looks bad as there are flat images for overhead lights ( you don't notice them on a screen) but in VR it looks real ugly. At the time of 777 release, everyone was on 32bit and this was probably done with VAS savings in mind. But today is 64bit world and I want the VC to look realistic as possible. It is the wow factor. Hi everyone, hope someone can help me here :) I'm running P3D V4.5, and I'm having a strange issue with at least one ILS approach, LFMN ILS 04L I have Justsim's LFMN airport. Oddly, the approach was fine until I started using GSX and shader tools. I don't see the correlation, but the fact is there... What happens is that my GPS assigns the wrong frequency to 04L. I checked LFMN specs, it should be 109.95 but the GPS assigns the wrong one... 110.7 (which is 04R). So whatever I do, that's where my plane lands... 04R instead of 04L. I checked the BGL files with ADE (stock file and the Justsim), compared online navaid data, used the Navaid Sors to correct…

Will buying a new higher spec graphic card increase my fps in P3Dv4 ?. I'm thinking Nvidia 1650 or 1660. More towards the 1650 because I don't want to buy bells and whistles that P3Dv4 can't take advantage of. I currently have a Nvidia GTX 650 and I would appreciate any advice and/or experience if upgrading a graphic card really does improve the fps.

How do you fly an aircraft with no visible controls. There is no visible starter, throttles, mixture etc. How do you look around the cockpit. It seems all you have is a fwd view and a few instruments. There must be away. Tom
