Since Orbx never answered a question about TrueEarth Great Britain South. Can you turn on/off auto-gen within the land-class since I normally have it completely turned off in the simulator. Btw, now many frames do you loose using this product since I'm only running a Intel 7700K processor with a GTX1070 at 4K?

are there any tomatoshade presets that focus on preformance? i just need the optimisation and reflection profile and thats it, but i cant seem to find a preset thats focussed on fps, instead i find presets that focuss on looks but drain fps

Ok so i thought i would give EZDok V3 a go. And the most notable issue i have is the S Shift-S and A Shift-A viewing. No matter what i do when i press S to go outside it does 2 cycles for outside views and dosent go back to the VC. I also have Chaseplane and setup was well easy no mucking around. EZDok V3 feels exactly like the V2 with the same delete this delete that reassign this and that. Does my head in 😞 Could someone give some insight in order to get over this hurdle 🙂 Regards Mike

Hi all, I have used fsx for flight sim for 4 years before I finally switched to p3d. P3d has been very good and I transferred all of my Add-ons from fsx to P3d without trouble (apart from paying for the 738 again) however there was an issue. When I installed ezdok through the flight 1 app on the computer, then upgraded it to the latest version from online (3.0.1.67) every single time I open P3d I have the same error, everything else works apart from EZCA and when you click on it you see “connecting with simconnect” and it never connects. I don’t know what to do as I have uninstalled and re installed many times now running the setup each time and installing the sim connect…

After a series of searches and attempts, I finally solved the problem of WF ZBAA texture problem! Possible causes: 1, ORBX VECTOR elevation problem. (Because the AEC tool does not have the ZBAA airport, it cannot be repaired) 2, a variety of smart sim lights series addon. (conflict with ORBX) 3. WF ZBAA version. Hello everyone, I wanted to do a training session with the FSiPanel 2017, but when I press "Select aircraft", the following error appears: It is weird because I do have internet connection. I even tried turning my ESET firewall off, did not help. Any idea what could be the issue? Thank you 🙂 Tomas

According to the LM forums, we should get the hotfix for v4.5 this Tuesday: https://www.prepar3d.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6312&t=133420 I am really wondering what this hotfix will do on my end, as I did not observe any FPS loss thanks to my internal 30FPS limit. In the ideal case, I will have even better FPS than now on heavy airports, where I do not manage to get those 30FPS in all cases (also did not get them in v4.4)? I doubt... What I really hope nevertheless: that LM does not change the wonderful night lighting back. It is phenomenal how far the street lights are visible in v4.5 and it would really be a disappointment, if the hotfix would change this back t…

At Federico's urging I installed the tech update beta version and it COMPLETELY OBLITERATED my P3D installation. I now have at least a day of rebuild to go through. I had uninstalled EF several times but wanted to give it a total chance. I'm done with REX.

Hi from what I have read it seems that there is no way to have FSrecorder operating with P3Dv4. can anyone advise if there is a way to record flights in P3Dv4 in the same way - ie so that one can create the ability to do formation flying ? thanks

Im looking at adding to the fleet for the weekend, I think I’ve narrowed it down to the: PMDG 747-8 add-on (I do already have the 400) QW787 PMDG 777 I don’t mean to beat a d*%d horse, But If you were to grab one of these today in their current state which would you choose. As I’m aware the 787 had some issues at release but not sure whether it’s all been sorted. If all else fails and I can’t make a decision I’ll grab some scenery instead lol Thanks

The EF discussion thread has become a little long. I am wondering how to concisely turn down the excessive bloom in REX Environment force? I have HDR on in the sim, but bloom turned down to zero. I have played some with the HDR settings in the mini UI, but it doesnt seem to really be doing the trick. Anybody with a step by step cure for this? Eric

Hey guys, I'm trying to get started with Simbrief, however there is an issue with the OFP (LIDO DLH). The detailed Navlog only shows beginning and ending waypoints of the airways (basically only the waypoints listed in the ATC flightplan), is there any way to get an OFP that shows all the waypoints?

Hi! Where can I get a copy off Client 4.4? I want to revert because off to high FPS in v4.5.

I use Wx themes and a product like EF adds diversity to my sim experience. Using AUTO mode because like most simmers I want to fly, it was a no muss no fuss upgrade. It is rare for a product like this to come along - because, for me anyway it solves the age-old problem of Wx injection smoothness while adding visual variety. Hats off to the REX team once again. I’m still on 4.4... mainly because I’ve PTA’d my night lighting to where I think it’s perfect for me. However the cloud and terrain shadows depending on the angle of the sun are very annoying when they disappear or suddenly appear when turning or panning. Did this get fixed in 4.5?

Hi, I installed makerwys v4.871 into the root folder of P3dv4 as well as the LorbySceneryExport application. I run makerwys as administrator, however I immediately receive the following message: Failed to make all of the data files! Failed to make FStar RWS file! Total airports = 0, runways = 0 I am totally in the dark of what's happening. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi everyone, so i just updated Tomato Shade to Version 25 two days ago, and it seems to have updated the Reflection maker also. The drama i'm having (which I have wasted two days trying to figure out) is the reflection maker just doesn't give me the gloss (mirror) reflections on the aircraft anymore (PMDG 787-800WL), ever since I've updated it, my presets don't work (R&D, LiveCockpit), the render preview window is just black (so i cant edit anything myself), I've tried the QW 787 preset, some areas are gloss but the fuselage is matt finish almost, while the PMDG 737 is 80% matt finish with stabilisers being the only thing slightly glossy...im so confused an…

Hi, Been a lurker for many years now and am now posting my first topic. I have been looking at a new machine for P3D and am debating between the two following options: 1) i7-9700k/RTX 2060 6GB VRAM 2) i5-9600k/RTX 2070 8GB VRAM Of course the best of both worlds would be to go i7-9700k/RTX 2070 8GB VRAM, but that combination is a bit expensive for me so I am debating which combo above would be the better choice for P3D v4. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!
