Hi! I need an high quality arpt. in UK. I have EGLL but the FPS is to low at and around the arpt. How about DIGITAL DESIGN - LIVERPOOL for P3D4? Anyone having experience from Digital Design regarding EGGP vs FPS?

I just updated P3 4.5 with the HotFix and getting an error saying that P3 needs at least one airport, VOR , NDB etc and will now close. I tried to do a full install several time but it still does not work. I would very much appreciate any ideas. Thanks Bernd

I recently bought this plane. I think is great and I just went for my first night flying only to find I could not turn on the night lights using the four rotating switches. My separate compass light switch works fine, but I can't get anything on the panel to turn on. Anyone else have this plane and know of some additional thing I need to do. Bryan

All though there is dedicated installers for P3Dv3 and the support over at Aerosoft has closed the case of issues i rather ask you if you have got this airport to work ? I have disabled everything from ORBX/UTX/VECTOR related to EDDB and yet this is how it looks. Sometimes the buildings also is missing It seems rather a dead airport with no ground movement and yet the installer is around 5GB Thanks Apreciated Would also like to know if you have any AI at the gates as well Michael Moe

I get good fps in the air and on the ground but once i am on approach to the airport they drop about 10-20 fps. With default and payware airports.

If I understand correctly, P3D v4 is the only version of P3D that went up to x.5 or 5 subversions..... What does this mean? Are we in for something really big in v5**? Thought I would just start a discussion here. **when it comes out. I'm not trying to start any rumors about it being released any time soon. 🙂

Definitely seeing more aliasing with same settings as before. Need to increase from 4xSSAA to 8x to smooth out jaggies and shimmerJust me ?

Hello, i've noticed that from the virtual cockpit the ground shadows suffer of a big degradation (see picture) In spot view this degradation is not noticeable, so at first time i thought it was a camera related issue, and i tried every "clipmode" settings for VC (minimum, spot, tower...). But nothing changed, so i thought it was these settings related in cfg: OPAQUE_SHADOW_TEXTURE_SIZE TRANSLUCENT_SHADOW_TEXTURE_SIZE OPAQUE_SHADOW_DRAW_DISTANCE TRANSLUCENT_SHADOW_DRAW_DISTANCE But i can't find a proper setting changing them. Something to do with LOD? Do someone know how to fix this degradation? Thanks!!

Dear All, I'm upgrading the visual of my flight sim. I'm using P3Dv4.5. I have a home 737 cockpit running prosim737 hence I don't use a virtual cockpit. My graphics computer use a i7 5930K OC at 4.5Ghz, 32Gigs of RAM and an Nvidia 1080ti graphic card. I'd like to upgrade to a 3 x TV screen setup (most probably using P3D view group to minimise distortion). I will be running 1080p resolution on each TV ( most TVs nowadays are 4K native but I assume it's not a problem to downsize res). I'd love to get your recommendation for what TV and any hint on how to best configure my P3D view group Kind Regards Karim

Hello, Before I go dig myself deeper into the sim-pit; I was curious to hear your opinions about the MadDog-X, PMDG 737 and the FSLabs A320. It is my understanding that the MadDog-X is a newer model coming into P3D and that the PMDG 737, still an extremely realistic and detailed model, is showing it's age. Most expensive of all, the FSLabs A320, is it really that good to justify being almost $60 more than the MD-80 and 737? Additionally, I've heard some pretty negative connotations about FSLabs especially regarding their malware and graphical bugs. I have recently reinstalled in P3dV4 the B60T and I have an irritating clicking sound. I got a fresh download from the Realair .net site and installed once again (as per a previous brief thread) but the clicking continues. It is like a clock. It is even there when the battery switch is off and the aircraft is in Cold and Dark! New Xmas headphones are making this sound unbearable!! Help please.

hello to all as I say in the header when I'm taxing any plane turns me very little and when I want to stop because neither and I do not know what is the reason or the solution

i finally got my night settings where i want them but i had to turn up bloom for the night cities to look real. the problem is that the higher the bloom setting the more it flickers when i pan around so it takes away from the realisim. is this normal and bloom i just broken in prepar3d or do i need an hdr monitor?so i wont get any flickering

Does anyone offer a decent rendition of the KPBI Palm Beach International airport for P3D v4...?? The only one i'm aware of is the FSXSCENERY (aka "Scenery Builders") scenery available at Simmarket, which frankly is only marginally better than the default, and I wouldn't waste my money on it.. KPBI is a pretty good sized international airport along Florida's Atlantic coast, not very far north of both KFLL and KMIA, so i'm a bit surprised that some good developer hasn't tackled this one....😕

Hey guys, I am onto this issue again! A couple years ago I had this plane and this issue. I have been away from things for awhile but I just ordered their newest version of the 182 for P3D v.4 and I have the same frigging problem. I think I solved it way back when but of course I cant remember how One complication was/is that I cant use my legs so use auto rudder. Nevertheless I did get ground steering through the yoke but like I said, I do not recall the solution. I vaguely recall someone suggesting an update to 4.2 might do the trick but I have not gone down that again, yet.. If you have any suggestions please pass them along. A2A has been of no help! So there is one thing that has bothered me extremely much lately, and that is blurry ground textures on P3DV4, Its not blurry all of the time of course but some times it takes a long time to load and that looks extremely unrealistic. I think it has been like this for as long as I can remember but I started really noticing it once I installed ORBX FTX Global, vector and LC Europe. Because id say the least thing I can expect when buying these products is an end to blurry ground textures. What can I do? My disc is sometimes at 100% in task manager, maybe that matters? Is there perhaps a simmer out there that has all Orbx scenery installed, from base vector to regions, airports,TGBS and TN? How does the Orbx beta testers test this and what settings are they using? Would like to know how the simulator performs with a vanilla installation and only the complete Orbx scenery installed. Maybe someone has tried this?

Genuine question. Is it good or bad for our hobby to have a situation where updating the core programme is a lottery as to its outcome on our system?

I'm wondering whether you have this option set to ignore or detect? Currently I have selected "detect" but sometimes during landing everything seems to be ok and suddenly something goes wrong and my plane has a crash. I know that this is all about flying skills but I'm wondering whether it is well related with real flying physics? Especially that on VATSIM for instance they recommend to select "Ignore" to have no crashes online. What do you think and what you're using?

Hi guys So i downloaded the qwpas for american airlines 757 but when i went to install it it only gave me options for fsx or fs2004. is it not p3dv4 compatible?

How can one find the root folder of Prepared and FSX SE?
