Hi, I bought LSGG Geneva for FSX by FSDT many years ago. I'm now on P3DV4.4 If I download a new installer from FSDT, will it work correctly? Any known issues? The LSGG FSDT forum is pretty dead. Or should I go RFSCENERYBUILDING - LSGG GENEVA?

Hi, My fmc_ident.txt file in \Prepar3D v4\PMDG\PMDG\NavData reads: [Ident] NavData=AIRAC-1905 OpProgram=APR25MAY23/19 CoData=JEP-1905 Which is up to date. Still I get a 'NAV DATA out of date' in the FMC?

Why do speedtrees when enabled look SO bright, kinda immersion breaking. Is there a way to make them less vibrant?

In real life, the turboprop starts up and the propeller starts to spin smoothly until the speed is faster. Before the oil is injected, the propeller will slowly rotate following the starter. However, in the default start up logic of P3D, the starter cannot drive the propeller before the oil is injected. This is very different from real life. But XP and plug-in aircraft (Milviz DHC-3 and Q400) fix this problem. The Carenado plug-in with P3D default logic and the plug-in that comes with P3D all have this problem, making the turboprop engine very unreal. Is there any solution and patch to solve the sudden rotation of the propeller?

Hello! So I have been working on 2 aircraft merges for Prepar3D v4- SkySpirit 767 model merged with the Captain SIm 757 cockpit and Boeing 737-300 model merged with the PMDG 737 cockpit. The real challenge for me is to somehow program the FMC with proper weights, fuel comsumption, V-speeds, etc for respective aircraft. Is there a freeware software for this type of "project" ? Do you have any tips and tricks when programming an FMC? Regards, Viggo.

On May 12th, I installed 4.5 completely. After two days, HF1 came out. So I found a lot of software incompatibility. When I installed REX5 sky force, I found that the serial number of simmarket was strangely invalid. The feedback was supported for two days. Still not solved. Today I uninstalled 4.5 and installed HF1 completely. I hope that I will not toss it anymore. It may be that there are some maps of automatically generated buildings. In the low visibility, you will often see a bright white square building in the cloud, but it will disappear when you unblock it. Some of the peaks inserted in the cloud will also have white highlights. I don't know what the problem is…

Hello, I’m just looking for a bit of advice really on how to fix and issue that I’m having with ChasePlane. Basically I installed the V4.5 Hotfix yesterday and now I’m unable to move to exterior camera views with my key bindings on ChasePlane. I’ve already asked for help in the relevant areas and tried uninstalling and reinstalling ChasePlane. I was really hoping to fly today and was hoping I could get it fixed. Does anyone have any ideas on how I might go about fixing it? Many Thanks, Jonathan

I have 2 monitors a 32 inch 2K and a smaller 23 inch 4k. I noticed when running P3D on the 4k monitor i yield better FPS than running it on my main gaming monitor the 32 inch 2k monitor. Anybody else notice this or give insight? Edit: So I decided to disable my other monitors to see if P3D was miss labeling my monitors and displaying the wrong FPS and i was correct my 2k monitor now performs how it should. seems like a bug i need to report to Lockheed,

I am hoping that maybe somone can help here as it seems calls for a few more pointers have come to a stop at both ORBX and FlyTampa. I noticed a few weeks ago that there was a noticable loss in trees. Firstly at ORBX Southampton, around UK2000 Gatwick and Stansted and then really patchy in other areas. I found a thread on Orbx with other users that had the same issue and after threads shooting off to other forums i eventually ended up over at Flytampa. There was a process to edit the XML and also add in a fixed autogen folder which didnt work for me. I have verified installations on ORBX including the Libraries. The eagerly awaited HF (at least by those who have performance issues since 4.5) has been released and we are all wondering if addon XYZ works without requiring to be updated. The P3D changelog doesnt indicate any major addon-breaking changes, but many addons will query the P3D version and refuse to run if the version has changed unless the addon receives an update. Please use this thread to list all 3rd party addons and their (known) compatibility with HF1. It would make sense to add a tag, based on where that information is coming from. Hi, please anyone can advise me what monitor resolution to use in PC and or P3D. My monitor is a Samsung 49 inch Curved 4K tv at 60 Herz My PC is 4700K 4.2 Hhz 32 Gb ram with a 1080ti graphics card. Hi everyone, I am using Prepar3D v4.3 and have several problems including blurry textures, delayed autogen loading and black (airport & autogen) textures. I was able to reduce the appearance of black textures by changing TEXTURE_BANDWIDTH_MULT=160 and TEXTURE_SIZE_EXP=9. Unfortunately, it did not fix my other two issues. I changed almost all P3D settings (e.g. autogen radius, autogen density, terrain lod radius, etc.), but I was not able to fix it. My system: Intel Core i7 6700k @ 4,2 GHz, 16GB DDR4 RAM @ 2666 MHz, Nvidia Geforce GTX 1080 Ti, SSD 500GB

Hello all, When I fly airliners, I appreciate having all different categories of AI traffic (airliners, GA, freight, military). It is particularly nice to fly a charter to an AFB and land with a plethora of military aircraft on-site. For this reason I have been using MyTraffic6, which includes all 4 types in a single add-on. Are there other AI traffic packages that include all of these types together? When I have checked into the latest AI traffic options, not all of these aircraft categories appear to be supported in 1 add-on. Am I missing something? What do others do, are there excellent add-ons to combine to produce all 4 AI traffic types? I would p…

I was wondering where should I begin with airports. Home base EHAM obviously (hoipe it will be updated soon..) :P. can't wait to see it run on y,m new setup. When i try to load ORBX LOWI, my game crashes, is this frequent with 4.4?

As I add more aircraft to my P3D v4 hangar, I am beginning to ask myself if there are any problems with some add-on aircraft not playing nice or causing problems with other add-on aircraft. For example, if I own/fly several A2A aircraft or study level airliners, can I confidently add/use MILVIZ aircraft without any conflicts? At least in FSX, it seems that you have to be careful loading a previously saved Milviz DHC-3T flight depending on the fuel/mixture/aircraft type of the previously flown aircraft, which I don’t fully understand. I have P3D4.5 installed plus HiFi Active Sky,SkyForce,EnvForce and PTA Works well and I have sensational cloud effects During a flight I have discovered that if I pause the Sim Then minimise View so that I can access the Active Sky icon in the taskbar I can edit the clouds in Active Sky -add or subtract Cirrus or Cumulus etc then go back to full view Hit pause button and sim continues and the new cloud formations slowly appear I am sure others know this An easy gamechanger. Needless to say SkyForce and EnvForce are set at Automatic An easy tweak that radically alters the flight without starting everything from scratch …

Looked on there forum and was unable to see if it was compatible with the hotfix. Was just about to install.

I have a Nvidia RTX2080 TI and a 4k Moniter. I set the resolution to 3840 x 2160 x 32, on the Ti 0.1 display for my 4k moniter. its reverts to the Ti0.0 diplay and the 1920 x 1080 resolution, everytime. Can someone please help me out as to what I might be doing wrong here. Thanks Scott
