In installing my My Traffic Pro into v5 this morning, I came across a chap that had custom written a Covid-19 Flight Plan.bgl and so thought to test it out. I instatlled, and... Well...the guy absolutely nailed it! The planes just sat at the gate. The guy's very talented! 😉 I'll let you know where I downloaded it from, if interested..... Happy Flyin'...

This great tool is now updated and working with P3D V5: Link Make sure that you have the new FSUIPC version 6 installed as well. It is also possible to use EFB2 in parallel with P3D V4 - FSUIPC 6 can handle both 😉 Marc

Anyone know how to move the screenshot output to a different folder? I want them off my C drive.

With V5's improved performance and a larger screen I am increasingly flying virtual cockpit but adding a smaller 'new view' with a view from the outside trailing the aircraft. I call it a 'chase plane' but that's a coincidence. I am using Chase Plane. Once that view is open I can right click it and select which view but I am struggling to get it to give me the view I want. It gives a good 'F11' view but I can't adjust it left or right or up or down. I seem to remember being able to set this more easily in the past. So - a refresher or hints would be appreciated please - within P3Dor Chase Plane? Come on Hot Fix - these pesky invisible walls…

There is a short wall in front of the buildings going right through the jetways at gates A29, B28, and C27. I realize screenshots would help, but I don't know how to attach them to the topic. Please check it out and see if you have the problem and give me some advice as to how to correct. Thanks Regards, Mike

Just curious if the default ATC has improved in V5 ?

I've been successfully flying some planes I used to fly in P3dv4+. They fly well in v5 as well. However, these planes are various Boeings (737s, 747s, etc), and Airbuses (mostly airliners) that I downloaded from Simulation, Rickoooo, and various other sites and they all have FMS and GPS capability. PROBLEM: The top section of the VC Cockpit...where all the AP prompts are located is totally BLURRY and UNREADABLE. I have to Shift =1 to set all the Autopilot parameters. Why are they blurry? I've tried all the various visual settings in P3d's graphic and display controls. No change. I've reinstalled the Fonts. Nothing. Question is how do I remove this blurrin…

For those not familiar with the product, SimpleCam is a lightweight, low-overhead app to manage VC camera views using the numeric keypad keys, with custom camera profiles assignable to specific aircraft, (similar to what X-Plane does by default.) Version 1.2.1 for P3DV5 can be downloaded from http://www.aivlasoft.com/download.html For those who already have the P3DV4 version installed, it should be able to use previously-created custom profiles.

I just like this program gets everything organized makes it easy to start up the 5 different programs i enjoy in P3Dv5 It is a 7 dollar upgrade for existing users but well worth it to me. Heads up, Steve N/A

Being that the LVFR airports are all on sale at the moment, one of the few of theirs I don't have is KMIA v5. I have one of the older versions, I think v3. From what I have read this appears to be a great piece of work. Just curious of what you all think. At $20 USD it looks pretty darn good. Cheers, Pete

I was hoping to see at least one of their aircraft made available in P3Dv4.5 someday... reason why I was seeking to get to their forum reserved to registered users only. Hello, I hope this is just something I am quickly missing... I would like to change the default "D:\Documents\Prepar3D v4 Add-ons" directory. As in, I don't want P3D to save it's own "Prepar3D v4 Add-ons" dir into my documents folder. (note that on my computer "Documents" is on D:\Documents) I know I could work with symlink for instance, but I would hope for a simpler solution, I would like to control that from P3D. Any chance? Hello. I'm having a question regarding P3D v4.5: The only totally unrealistic "feature" of P3D v4.5 that annoys me most is the extremely unrealistic weathervane-Effect on the ground during Takeoff-/Landingroll in Crosswind Conditions. I'm flying SR20 / 22 in real life and do have some 80hrs on Fullflight ( Level D ) Simulators ( B747 / 767 / 737 ). I've never experienced such overpronounced weathervaning during groundroll neither in real life, nor in Level-D Simulators. Is there an option that can be changed in the aircraft.cfg or in the Prepar3D.cfg to eliminate the weathervane effect on the ground ( especially for PMDG 747v3 )? I've tried to set th…

Hello Community, Has anyone had any luck with the Saitek/Logitech instrument or switch panel drivers for V5? I cannot get them to work properly using the older v4 and FSX drivers but wasnt sure if I was missing something. I hope they update them soon.

I am wondering if FS Real Time is still necessary to keep the time synced in p3dv5.

It's a rainy Sunday afternoon and I'd just like to say something. I've been flying V5 this morning and every day since it came out. I've downloaded any planes or sceneries that have V5 installers and even loaded some that were meant for V4. Most everything works pretty well. Weather is via REX SkyForce. I love SkyForce but I love it for other reasons....not weather. So, I miss V4.5 and Active Sky and all the planes and sceneries that worked so well. I have very high hopes for this version becoming what I (and probably YOU) want it to be. Version 4.5 was darn good. I had no complaints AT ALL. I can only hope that the "hotfix" and many V5 renditions of my favor…

Is there a software that can do plausibility checks on AI flight plans? As an example I would like to know for instance, if OE-LBO (Austrian Airlines A320) is scheduled to fly more than one leg at the same time. Or, I would like to have listed all flight plans (bgl files) OE-LBO is scheduled in. Karl

I posted this yesterday and cannot find the post anywhere this morning. There is a short wall in front of the building and it is obscuring the jetways at gates A29, B28, and C27 at KJFK. I realize screenshot would help, but I don't have the capability at this time to insert them. Requesting any ideas as to how to correct this problem. The rest of the airports gates seem to be correct. My aplologies if I have duplicated this post.
