Hey guys, When I load the sim, the brakes are normal. As soon as I touch them, however, they reverse themselves. This is with Saitek rudder pedals (if it matters). So I load the sim, sitting on the runway (Just Flight Arrow III fwiw), the parking brake is on as per usual. I hit Ctrl+. to turn off the parking brakes. Put my feet on the brakes, it initially says "Brakes" in lower left of screen, then this disappears. When I release the brakes, i.e. take the pressure off with my toes, the brakes engage and in the lower left it says "Brakes." Hi all, I have the Fly Tampa YSSY installed previously on my P3Dv4.5 (hot fix 3) and everything works well. Earlier, I had to reset my PC due to some Windows problems. After I reinstalled P3Dv4, ORBX and Australia v2, I realised that it has loaded the default P3D YSSY scenery instead of YSSY. My Scenery Library as below. I remember that the 3 highlighted areas were at the top below FTXAA_ORBXLIBS previously when everything works before the reset. However, I am unable to move them up after the reinstallation. Any advice to resolve this issue is greatly appreciated.

I uninstalled Navigraph from my PC, now when I start P3D I get the following error message: "Unable to automatically launch Navigraph Simlink at .......NavigraphSimlink.exe. Please launch it manually. Anyone know what I need to delete to get rid of this message? Thanks!

So, this seems to be a very debated topic on the forum as of course it is dependant on your system. I would appreciate anyone recommendations though for Prepar3d V4.5 settings. I am running a i7-9700k, 16GB Ram and a RTX 2080ti. Thanks for any help or guidance 🙂

Wow This is terrible total clean install of V5 with hotfix and crashes to desktop every time I go into menu to select a vehicle, was perfect before the hotfix, getting over this very fast as totally unusable default startup cant even change planes Wayne

I can't figure out why my vc looks blurry and not as sharp as it did with the RTM version of P3D v5. I have tried deleting my shaders, my Prepar3D.cfg and messed with my settings and it still is blurry. Any ideas?

Hello, I purchased Prepard3d V4.5 when it first came out. My version states: V 4.5.12.30293. I don't fully understand Hotfixes. Are they the same as updates. Also if I download Hotfix 3 will that include all the updates in HF 1 and 2? Any help greatly appreciated. I think I am missing out on some stuff. Mike USAF (Ret)

I have the following GoFlight products. GF-P8 GF-T8 GF-166A VRP Has anyone got these to work with Version 5? I have used the GFConfig program supplied by GoFlight to get then to work with Version 4.5. I've changed the program location to the Prepar3D Version 5 folder. But that doesn't work. Thank You. Has anyone had any luck with this lovely addon scenery? It worked OK for me in V4.5., but V5.1. and Victoria+ do not like each other.. My main memory usages goes through the roof if I try to enable it.. anywhere around or north of Seattle.. If someone knows how to tame it.. please let me know!

Hey guys hoping everyone is having a good day. I am on P3D V4 and when i land at airports with GSX level 2 jetways i get stutters which last 2 to 3 seconds when the GSX level 2 jetways load. Does anyone know how to make the jetways load earlier or to completely remove the stutters from the loading jetways before landing? I've tried disabling GSX and then enabling it again but when i click enable GSX after landing it takes a very long time to become available again. Thanks

Hi All, Hope everyone is safe... P3D Version 4.5 HF2 All of a sudden I am experiencing strange behavior whilst flying my PMDG 737 NGXu... With REX SF3D enabled and selected in the weather at the scenario creation screen, whilst flying I am seeing steep vertical climbs of anywhere between 4000 - 7500, most of the time overshooting the selected altitude... once I manage to reach my CRZ level, lets say FL360, the speed drops from the FMC indicated speed, lets say .788, down to 148 knots, and no matter what I do in the CRZ page of the FMC, which displays TGT speed of .788, I cannot get it to follow the correct FMC speed and my aircraft slows down, forcing me t…

Hi All, Trying to install ORBX into P3Dv5 on a new system no previous versions. However I cant get past the select version screen as P3Dv5 is not showing in the list? Any advice how to get around this? Cheers, Alex

Hiya, PMDG currently has a sale with 25% off the 777 and 747 which is until the 14th February (which is when P3Dv5 releases). I'm keen to buy the 777; I currently have FSX:SE and XP11. However I do not want to fork out for P3DV4 given that V5 is only days away. I've watched some twitch streams of the performance improvement with V5 which is insane; huge scenery draw distance, very high FPS compared to V4.5. If I buy the PMDG 777 now do you think I would be able to install it on P3DV5 when it comes out? Do you think its a safe bet for me to buy PMDG now during this sale or am I likely to be stuck for months unable to use it?

A very good day, Does anybody know how to turn off HDR Luminance Adaption? When changing views from inside to outside or vice-versa quality of picture is changing to a washout quality, and sometimes it takes time reset to a clear picture. Previous versions also suffered from this issue and Tomato-Shade had a tweak under HDR & Post-processing @ turn off HDR Luminance Adaption disabling this issue. Thank you!

This time, with P3Dv5 I wanted to do it right. Only v5 compatible add-ons with v5 installers(add-on.xml method) came onto my machine. So after uninstall v5 (for HotFix preparation), I thought it would be a good idea to check if anything has been left in the main p3d folder. I was quite surprised how much "garbage" I found. I don't mean the fact that some developers still place all their stuff into the p3D main folder as it is done by FlightBeam, DrzewieckyDesign and FlyTampa just to name three of them.
