I've downloaded and set up Opentrack to use as tracking, and it works fine. I just can't seem to interface it with P3DV5. I've both set and run as administrators but, other than that, I've no idea what else to do.

I am currently setting up a P3d v4 installation and while doing testing I had several instances of my sounds being dampened when using the ATC menu. It would start with Atis report, come back to normal volumes after a delay, dampen again when using ATC. Is this a known bug in version 4? Has anyone experienced this and fixed it? I am using an AMD B450 mobo with E241i-B1 AMD High Definition Audio if that helps. It would seem I also have an option on my system for Realtec High Definition. Thanks.

Just a quick question about Envtex & Orbx night lighting, the last time I used Envshade it totally destroyed my Orbx night lighting, I know there has been some talk about it and a remedy was in the making, I had a problem with getting the night lighting back to what it was and have now updated Envtex to the latest version but am a bit hesitate to use it again in fear of ruining the night lights again, is anyone using Envtex/Envshade since the latest version? and is the night lighting ok? Hi all, i'm missing rain sound on p3dv5.1 hf1, does anybody know what is going on? The precip files are in it's respective folder. Don't remember when it did work if it did. I'm on Windows 10 recently updated. Thanks a lot

I was looking through a collection of old scenery files and found EZScenery. I remember it was needed for FSX. But, what about P3D? any value or use, or can I simply delete it. Thanks... Sherm

Hello, good evening to all.. Just wanted to know if someone had any trouble with adding repaints to the TFDi 717-200, i really liked the stock liveries but wanted to add a couple more from the official downloads page and it appears there are some files missing or maybe the repaint format changed.. Hey guys anyone know of a fix for enabling taxi and runway lights as they do not seem to be working on my end. i did download a supposed fix on their forums which in installed and have uninstalled and reinstalled object flow. But unfortunately did it work. P3d v5.1 hf1 cheers mike

I Just installed the new Nvidia driver and then fired up P3dv5 and the NGXu. The sound in and out of the cockpit was so loud I couldn’t here my radio. Changing the volume had no impact on the sound, either via the computer volume or the volume options in the FMC. Once I reverted back to the previous driver, the problem went away. Very strange, but had to be the driver. Incidentally, this was not an issue with the PMDG 777, but clearly it was the driver clashing with the NGXu. I’m curious if anyone else experienced this. When I try to start P3D v5.1, it gives a message "P3d v5 cannot find FS standard controls xml file". After quite a while, P3Dv5.1 starts. But P3D v5 forgets my Logitech Pro yoke and pedals control settings, i e Axis assignments, key assignments etc. Please help. Regards, Haseen Ahmad.

Hello guys, today I saw some strange FPS issue in P3D v5. First start of P3D v5 I got 33 fps in Orbx LDSP with Fslabs. Second start without any change (really) I only got 25 fps in the same situation, same weather etc. I only wanted to test a new livery. After that I tried loading P3D several times today I never got 33 fps again. I also tried the other livery which I used in the first situation, nothing changed. Why is there a FPS change after starting P3D for the second time? Thanks Frames a locked at 33 fps

Hello! I noticed huge FPS loss while parked at LDSP apron, and also other ORBX airports only during night time, no issues while flying daytime. - Dynamic lights OFF: 50/60 fps - Dynamic lights ON: 18/20 fps I tested other airports and I didn't notice the same huge fps loss. Has anyone got a similar poblem?

Hi, since I wasn't so smart and bought addons for P3D a couple of years ago, because they were on sale, without even owning P3D, I am kind of sitting on them. Without having used them once. Therefore I am considering buying P3D v5. I think it still might be worth, since I have the A2A Cessna 172 and the FSLabs A320 and some flytampa airports (EHAM, KBOS, CYYZ). A lot of FSDT airports for FSX which are have free updates as far as I know and some aerosoft airports for Europe, which have free updates. I don't expect FSLabs moving to MSFS too fast, so I could use P3D to do my training until it's ready for msfs (if that's gonna happen). What would I need to "invest" …

Hello, I have P3DV5 and when I start the program, it looks fine. Then I get to the page on which you select aircraft, location and time. I select any, the screen shifts to black with the progress bar moving up, when it gets to about 90% it just stops and I get back to the windows desktop. No matter which airport I choose, the same thing happens. I remember in previous versions, you could some of the cfg's o ini's and let the software rebuild them at start up. I can' remember which files it was. Thanks in advance Juan

Dear all, Have been flying lots of helicopters in DCS and Xplane and they are awesome. I love native VR in p3dv4 but I miss a really good heli. HTR and mpdesign and cabri g2 are ok but I miss the dodosim 206. It was pretty amazing. Any chance it will be patched to V4? Is anybody working on a 64 bit version? Thanks in advance Jozeff

I tried to use the in game recording under the menu "Analysis". When I tried to play it back, the aircraft was stuck and all the screens are blank, so basically, it is not working. I was using PMDG 747/748. Are there any options to record the flight and change the view angle later?? When using screen capture, the view angle was not always the best and I have to switch between programs.

I had a lg 49 inch 4K tv for P3d v5.1 hf1 and I was not happy with performance from my 1080ti msi lightning z with antialiasing set at 8xmsaa 16x AA Textures were too jaggy and shimmering ive tried 2xssaa and 4xssaa bur performance was bad with dynamic lighting. So I decided to guy the Samsung g5 144hz 2k rtss set up also. i set it up and cranked up the AA to 4xssaa and very happy with performance with dynamic lightning. but want to get my textures more sharper. any advice on settings? Ncp settings? thank you mike

Hi, I am writing this post because P3D v5.1 (latest version plus hotfixes) have become totally unplayable for me, especially at night. When parked at the gate, I'm seeing framerates as low as 4fps. On final approach to airports, I get 10-15fps. During the day, I typically see around 15-20fps, with a solid 30 in the cruise, which is the only time the sim is playable. I really don't know what might be causing all this horrible performance, seeing as my PC should be more than capable of playing the sim at my settings. I play on a 4K Toshiba 38" TV, with the refresh rate locked at 30hz through NVIDIA Control Panel. EDIT: All NVIDIA control panel settings besides locking …
