I’ve been using AIG Ai together with Ai_Companion in P3D v5.1 for some time. Yesterday whilst checking that a business jet on an 8 week cycle departed KMSP at the correct time it became apparent there was a problem. The aircraft was not loaded into the sim when I changed the date/time to 15 mins before departure. When I set the time to an hour earlier it did. After investigation it transpires the time difference between KMSP and GMT/UT should be five hours. But P3D v5.1 has it set to six. Consequently all aircraft are departing one hour earlier than they should be. Can those of you with v5.1 locate to KMSP and in the Date/Time field check what you have for …

FYI PMDG users--I just spotted this pinned on the PMDG forums: The operations Center needs a manual update for proper operation. To do that please go to to C:\Users\{username} \AppData\Roaming\PMDG\PMDG Operations Center right click on OpsCenterUpdater.exe and select run as administrator. This will update the OC to the latest version. This needed to restore proper communication between OC2 and the server

Hello, Apologies for asking about something that has probably been asked before, but I was wondering if there was a solution for double jetways at all my FSDG addons for P3Dv5? SODE wasn't working, so I installed their FSDG-SODE link and Scenery Configurator. Now the jetway works, but there are duplicate jetways at each gate, for all my FSDG addons. I tried removing one of them through GSX, but it only lists one jetway as being present.

Anyone heard anything recently as to when KPBI for P3d is being released? Anxiously awaiting it, as it's my home airport. Couldn't find anything recent in their forums. Thanks.

Good day, I actually use P3Dv5.1HF1 with my good old IvAp Version 2.0.2. My problem: I can´t see any lights on IVAO MTL (no beacon, no strobes). I still see the models with the exact livery (installed it for 64 bit version), but no lights at all. Is there anything i have to check / uncheck in P3D or IVAP Settings i missed? Thankful for any help, Greets, Markus P.S. I would also like to stick to IvAp instead of Altitude...

I'm waiting hard for their airplanes to be ported over. I'm also willing to pay. But except their T-38 no other aircraft seems to be near completion. A MSFS syndrome? Karl

Hello, I keep getting intermitten buzzing sounds in my headphones when running p3d. I believe it is the sound that you get when your cpu is overloaded or you get a BSOD. Not sure of the technical term, but as far as cpu usage goes I have core 0 at 100% and the remaining sitting around 20-30%. Not exactly overloaded, but I am wondering what is causing this noise. For reference it occurred last when using the PMDG T7.

So every other flight I do I end up crashing to desktop. I have an ultrawide screen that I use for simming, and a 1920x1080 that I use for everything else. Im on a rtx2080ti, i9-10900k @5ghz, 32gb ddr4 @3.2mhz and the sim is installed on a separate samsung evo ssd. My os is win10 home on a nvme m2 ssd. Drivers and windows are updated. I migrated to MSFS last august, and it's been pretty much rock stable. Every other game or thing I use my pc for is very stable. I have all the sliders to the max, and I get good fps (didn't check exactly, but it's butter smooth). Very frustrating that this keeps happening.

Let's face this... LM's lack of updates on what's coming is DETRIMENTAL to this platform. Now that PMDG has announced that they are "all in" and the first aircraft is coming in a couple of weeks, what is a good reason to stick around? A2A is working on stuff, so is QW. NO news on P3D front. What is gonna keep us here? What's the excitement around this platform anymore? This is coming from someone with $5K of add-ons in aircraft and scenery.

Hey guys, I have installed Prepar3d 4.5HF3 on my Thinkpad P1 Gen 3 (it has Nvidia Quadro T2000 4GB VRam, i9, 32GB Ram) - surprisingly P3D4.5HF3 is working real well on it as VRam is managed well vs p3dV5. I am getting very good FPS. Much better than MSFS. I dunno why? but regardless of the sim. I am very confused which controllers to use with the sim. I can't pack my joysticks/rudder pedals when I am travelling but I need a joystick which will help me with my wireless mouse when Simming in hotels etc. These have to be bluetooth that way I can play with iOS if I need to. I've recently start flying long 747 flight in p3d v5.1, and If I seem to leave the sim unattended for suppose an hour or so, the sim continuously experiences micro-stutters and this only happens with the PMDG 747 https://imgur.com/a/zRF1Vqf *sorry for the "not so clear" video, Thank's!

Hi, I started working on a shader mod, which brings shader-based procedural skies into non-EA mode. I believe it will be helpful for people who have previous versions of P3D and therefore cannot use EA. Here are a few very early (WIP) screenshots: This is not a simple sky color bitmap replacement, it completely overrides default sky with a shader-based procedural one using real-life scattering equations.

Hello! I recently switched to P3DV4 and purchased the 757 that I used to enjoy in FSX, but I'm having overspeed in the climb. With the climb AT mode selected (and even with it de-rated on a heavily-loaded 757) this airplane will NOT meet any sort of speed restrictions. It blows right through 250 below 10,000 (with the limit set in CDU) and when it levels off in between climb altitude changes, it accelerates well into overspeed territory. The throttles also don't appear to be reducing power correctly; they will start to reduce and then jump forward again. Hi, I have some problems with my controllers I use T.Flight Hotas X and Satitek rudder. But when I roll on the Taxi or runways my Aircraft all way turn left and I can't turn right! I have set it up so my rudder controller just use the rudder and brakes, and I use also my T.Flight Hotas X to steering the nose wheel and the aircraft. But I can't steering the nose wheel! Is there an issue with the ATC / ASP4D / GSX dialog boxes crashing? Just had a flight where moments after takeoff, I couldn't contact ATC, the ASP3D box kept randomly popping up. It was really frustrating and totally spoilt the flight. Is there a way around this or a way to reset it in the sim?

Hi, just recently installed P3Dv5 and am seeing something odd out to sea and can't seem to fix it unless I set water detail from Ultra to High. Has anyone else seen this and know of a fix?

I, and a other users as well (several different named topics here on AVSIM AND LM), do have CTD when using the new P3D V5.1 Sim in combination with SODE Version 1.7.1 and AIGAIM. If Stock AI is also having issues I can´t say. did not test it. It is reproduceable most likely at medium airports, but for sure at bigger hubs like EDDF, EDDL and bigger. I started using P3D V5.1 with a Stock F22 with no issues at all. Not a single CTD. As I did turned on AIGAIM traffic sometimes the sim would CTD with the UCRTBase.dll error in my eventlog. I started further investigations to find the cause. But strange was it CTD not every sin…

Flight Replicas has today released the DH 125 Dominie for P3D. This is the RAF T1 version with the Nav Trainer internal cabin. VC only! The usual FR attention to detail makes for fun small jet flight!

I'm a big fan of GSX, and was curious how others handled this situation. I notice that even though I connect the jetway, the back stairs always still come up to the craft, even though they are not needed. Is anyone actually using that back staircase, when the jetway is already connected? Do those back stairs even work when the jetway is connected? I probably have a wrong setting 🙂
