Hello where do i find the d/load link for LINDA V3.03? I wish to use LINDA with P3dD v4.2 and require the latest version so that it recognises and finds my FSUIPC settings Clive Alexander

This is just a little fix to the Twin Otter Extended module. I noticed (eventually) that the behaviour of the HDG hold function is inconsistent with how it works in the VC and also with the real-world AP-106 manual. This is because it uses the standard AP_HDG_HOLD toggle function. Evidently that function syncs the heading bug to the current heading before activating HDG hold, which is incorrect behaviour. Using the ON/OFF functions works properly (i.e. without syncing the bug). Hello Guenter, Been enjoying LINDA big times. QQ on the doors. I noticed that the PMDG-777 when using GSX open doors L1/L2/L4 and the cargo doors. However, when loading/unloading passengers, GSX uses L2 / L4 as the main default door(s). I went to the actions.lua and made a copy and then changed the settings to eliminate L1 completely from the automation. Is that the way to do it or can I add that statement to my user.lua and it will override the one in the actions.lua or what do you suggest? hello, when opening P3Dv4 this morning, Linda displayed a warning that it it not sync'ed to P3D. Apparently it is searching for a VRInsight line in FSUIPC.ini but I don't have any VRInsight hardware. However, I accepted to let write a Com=0 line to FSUIPC.ini but that didn't solve it. Can somebody tell me what is happening ? EDIT : Hmm, it went back to its usual behavior 🤔, I was able to click on Sync to Sim again and it works as normal. the administrator may delete my post.

Hello I have FSX and LINDA 2.9.6 with 4.973 FSUIPC. THe problem est that I can't use trace console it activate and after 1 sec the window return to default page. HELP

Is there a module for this aircraft. I can't recall but it was just released for P3D v4 today so maybe someone can make one?

Hello, This seems to be a quite odd question but I can' get anything to display in a Lua window. My lua file contains only one line ipc.display("This is my text") but it doesn't display anything. I tried this ipc.display("") ipc.display("This is my text") ipc.sleep(5000) It works, The window stays 5 seconds. But this doesn't work ipc.display("") ipc.display("This is my text", 5) Who can help me to figure this out? Stefan

To start, running P3Dv4.2, latest 64bit version of LINDA and latest PMDG modules for LINDA. Running the MCP2 from VRi Insight. Everything save for one thing works great. The speed dial for the MCP. I turned. The speed down or up and the speed readout on the MCP and in the PFD cannot keep up. The speed value goes up as I am selecting lower and vice versa. The only way to make it work is to go very very slow. With heading and altitude, no issues. Very annoying. Anyone seen this?

I have installed the module 2.5 for this plane as I have amcp2. The problem is with the hdg and alt knobs on then autopilot panel. When I rotate the hdg knob the bug jumps 10 degrees with each movement. The alt knob only changes 1000 feet with each slight movement. Is there any way to fix this? thanks

I'm new to Linda and followed the manual so far to make my first steps. It's said that one may delete any Lua related entries in FSUIPC and assign buttons to Lua files later. But I did not find how to do this. I tried to create a function in the User library: ipc.runlua("MyPath") and assigned it to a button but that didn't work. Thanks for any help to understand how this is done.

Hello guys, I'm currently building my own G1000 hardware with arduino due. I'm using P3D v3.2 and carenado 172SP G1000 as software. I am able to use LINDA for most of PFD's function. My problem is now reading / writing input for direct-to on PFD. I use LINDA tracer and get following Lvar activated when using direct-to button and outer FMS knob: TMP_PFDScratchpadIndex, PseudoScratchpadIndex, PFDSCRATCHPAD_TEMPORAL_INDEX, G1000_EnteringInput My problem is when I rotating inner FMS knob (from carenado VC) to enter airport / navaid into direct-to page, I couldn't get any Lvar or FS control reacted to the rotation. For Guenter or anyone who may know this Guenter, first of all I just want to say THANK YOU for such a great program, been in the flight sim arena for so long but recently started to use LINDA and wow, have I been having fun with this program. The things I can accomplish now with my joystick (HOTAS TM) is incredible. Everything has been working great, love the tracer to find any faults and so on. Hi there, I'm just assigning the buttons of my Saitek X56 HOTAS to the PMDG 747 (P3D V4.2, FSUIPC 5.124, LINDA 3.05, PMDG 747 QOTSII module version 1.1). So far, everything's okay. Now I want to assign Speedbrake up / down and arm to buttons # 34 - 36 on the throttle. I can't find assignments for this functions in the "PMDG 747 Module functions" of LINDA. The PMDG custom event ID's should be 70625, 70622 and 70623. Assigning these buttons to the PMDG 737 NGX speedbrake functions was succesful. Entschuldigung das ich hier auf Deutsch schreibe aber mein Englisch ist nicht gut, daher hoffe ich das hier jemand ist der mir auf Deutsch Helfen kann. So nun zu meinem Problem. Nach langem hin und her habe ich es geschaft das mein FCU-Compo über Linda startet, aber ich kann kein HDG,SPD oder sonst was einstellen. Wenn ich im P3dV4 im Flugzeug z.b. das HDG einstelle wird mir dieser Kurs auch im FCU-Compo angezeigt. In die andere Richtung vom FCU-Compo zum P3dV4 geht es aber nicht. Was mache ich falsch oder was muss ich einstellen das es auch anderst geht. Vielen Dank im Voraus für eure Hilfe.

I just built a MCP and have everything working. I would like to know if there is a solution to speed up the increase in Altitude and/or similar with a code in LUA or some other way. If I turn the dial faster it will increase the numbers faster? Any help would be highly appreciated!

Hi guys, I've just installed now the latest version of LINDA alongside profiles for PMDG 737, 777 and 747. I'm encountering this strange problem where P3D crashes to desktop without any errors ONLY when loading the PMDG 747. When loading other aicraft and even other PMDG addons, everything loads up fine. Howerver, P3D will NOT crash if I load up the PMDG 747 from another aircraft (i.e.: Moving from a 777 to a 747 inside the sim itself) I tried deleting LINDA, whereas afterwards the PMDG 747 loads up fine upon initial load. Anyone knows what may seem to be the problem?

Hi, today I installed the Maddog functions and set up a few functions for testing purposes. These were "Toggle both LL" and "AP ON". They work as they should, thanks for this great Addon for the flight simulator! However, when I start the Maddog in the "ready to fly" state, the displays are dark and the trim is not set. If I start the Maddog from my saved Modules folder without Linda, the set up is correct again. Not a big deal as I usually start Cold & Dark but I thought I should mention it. FYI: Win7, P3DV4.2

I just purchased the VRinsight MCP 2 and have never used linda before. I have p3dv4.1 in Windows 10 and the PMDGngx. From the instruction I need to install the base software and the mcp software from vrinsight. After this do I then install linda and add the ngx module to the p3d modules folder and it should work? Is there a complete tutorial or manual to follow when doing this setup? Thanks, Paul

For those users thinking of upgrading to P3D v4.2 I can confirm that LINDA 3.0.5 works fine with it provided you revert FSUIPC5 back to v5.122. The latest FSLABS A320X v231 (requires P3Dv4.2) also works as before with the latest LINDA beta module.
