LINDA Support

Hello, Installed P3d v4 and 737NGX. Linda/MCP works fine with default planes, i installed Linda 3.0.4 with the PMDG737NGX-module. Linda sync`s automaticaly with te pmdg....Linda say`s 'Ready"...but i can`t do a thing. The only thing i see is displaychanging on the MCP when the radio or nav-setting in P3D is changed. It`s not possible to turn the radio on te MCP. Hope you can help!! Regards!

I recently updated LINDA to 3.0.2. It lists ally my hardware, it has all my aircrafts, but none of my buttons do anything. When I use a button it will not show up on the device, so I can't assign it a function. In settings, it lists all my devices and states that everything is ok. Not sure what else to do. It worked before, FSUIPC 4 is registered. I'm using FSX-SE. Gnacino

Fantastic on the recently releaed beta module. Very useful already. The purpose here is to create a list of observed items for future evolution of this module. Note, I don’t claim immunity that perhaps the noted item is simply user error (me!) To start. - heading synch function needed as often used in ops. (this floats to the top for me) FIXED - Right wing landing light funtion (when alone or all on) not working. FIXED - implement side panel rotaries. (Map range, mins, vspeeds) noting that even if these are not implemented for technical or resource reasons that this module remains highly welcomed by the,community. ADDED Thanks!!

Hello. Has anyone ever been able to use PCP COMBO 1 or 2 to fly the PMDG 777 under P3DV4? And if so with which module linda because the PMDG_777_v1_2 and the PMDG_777_v_1_3_2 gives me the opportunity to adjust com, nav but buttons heading, speed, alt, etc ... of the combo are inoperative. I have version 3.0.3.724 of Linda and everything is ok with for example the PMDG 737NGX under P3DV4 Thanks to a reponse Christian

Hi, today i installed the Update for the A320X (P3D v4.1) and unfortunately Linda doesn't seem to work with the new version. I installed the latest profile and Linda seems to find it (Its preselected in the dropdown near the sync button) but the connection to the aircraft doesn't seem to work (Linda recognizes my buttons and switches but nothing happens in the aircraft). I also recognized that my VRInsight Combo says "Linda Init... FSX Default" instead of the actual name of the aircraft. I'm using the Hotas Warthog + Throttle and the VRInsight Boeing Combo II (None of the devices are working). FSUIPC is updated. It worked perfectly in P3D v3 and it also …

The assigned actions to knobs in MCP Combo/MCP Mode2 are not executed. When I go in Mode 2, Linda executes actions from Mode 1 instead of mode 2. Buttons works fine. Knobs works fine in EFIS or User Modes When I go in MCP Mode 2, Linda displays the correct Ident but also goes automatically in INFO Display Mode . I have to press the CWSB button (in FSX Default configuration) to return to AP Mode. This does not happen when I go from MCP Mode 2 to MCP Mode 1. This happens with all planes. Win 1.6 Pro Linda 3.04.728 P3D v 4.1 MJC 84PRO 1020a 1. I have installed MJC 2.5. When Linda opens MJC settings, the version is verson 2.4 dated Jan 2017 not 2.5. Default was changed to LUA. Should the version 2.5? 2. The redial button (10 to 240) does not change in the MFD1 panel. The button moves left and right but does not change the settings. I do not know if the installs are corrects files. Any bugs here? Popi

Hi everybody, I am using Linda 3.04 together with Prepar3D v. 4. The problem is that my switch panel and my multi panel start blinking, once Linda has been loaded. At the switch panel the light for Gear Down blink and at the multi panel one button after the other. Does anybody have an idea? Kind regards, Karsten

My Saitek Multipanel reads meters instead of feet. Anyway to correct?

Hello, I just went under P3DV4 and I bought the PMDG 777. But the profile I found on the forum for Linda => the PMDG_777_v_1_3_4 does not work. Is there another profile? I am under Linda 3.0.3 64bit and everything works fine for the PMDG737. thank you for your reply Christian

Using LINDA I am having problems with my Hotas Joystick and throttle recognising the switches as I push them on the respective controllers The configuration checklist is reporting OK for all devices and FSUIPC 5.100 I have my aircraft selected and Synced What have I missed or what has gone wrong, any ideas?? Dear flightfriends, Newbie to NGX 737 and jetplanes in general here...... Last week I have been setting up my NGX 737 in p3dv4 combined with FSUIPC and LINDA. I want to use my Thrustmaster Throttle/CH eclipse Yoke and VKB Rudder pedals as controls. I got a bit stuck yesterday in trying to set up Linda and the NGX profile that is available. Is that Linda profile also directly usable for my hardware or do I have to set up the controls myself. I'm a bit confused about the NGX Linda profile and what it can exactly do for me. Just my 2 cts. I was about to try TARGET together with LINDA when I wanted the TMWH APU start/on/off switch to work with LINDA, or perhaps direct through FSUIPC .LUA command file assignment. The problem is one needs a sequence to get past the 'on' and then 'start' position with the PMDG 737NGX APU on/start. The TMWH has just a one sided on/off switch for its APU button. Just then I took a look at the "..\Prepar3D v4\Modules\linda\aircrafts\PMDG 737NGX\actions.lua" and one can just edit the actions.lua by combining the 2 APU commands on/start to a new line item in the drop-down assignment menu, from within LINDA 'edit' function. in the EDIT func…

Hello, I'm at the point of installing/connecting my new HOTAS Thrustmaster Warthog. Now i wonder if i need to install some drivers or other installers from Thrustmaster itself before i can use my HOTAS with Linda? Are there some users who can enlighten my at this point? I use it with Win10/64bit and P3Dv4.1

Recently i started working with the different modes on the MCP Combo I. So the buttons 6-7-8 on the user-section are toggling the different modes. When toggling to - say mode 2 (mode 3 is disabled on all sections) - i hear a single beep (witch confirms that i am on mode 2), but without pushing the button again to return to mode 1, i hear after a few seconds a second double beep and i am again on mode 1. Can't i stay on mode 2 (or 3 if necessary) until pushing the toggle button again?

Hi All, I am new with Linda and I already love it. I recently purchased the Combo II from VRInsight and thanks to Linda I am bringing it alive step by step. So far no particular issues with the majority of A/C. However, with the LVD767 I haven't figured out how to switch the display between Autopilot values and flight info. No matters which button I hit the display doesn't change. Am I missing something? Any help with this? Thank you, Gianfranco

Hello everybody, I don't know anything about LUA Script Programmation but I think I need to make one. I made a Cessna home cockpit and when I click on the Battery Switch Button of My cockpit it don't move the Battery Switch Button of my Cessna (Carenado and A2A). It only works with the C206 from Carenado, for the other I have to do it Manually with my Mouse. The same for Fuel Selector Valve. The Switches are programmed with FSUIPC. So on every forum, people told me to make it on LUA Script with LINDA. But I don't know how to make it and how to ind LVAR. Thanks a lot for your help Ludovic

Hi, how can I assign a keypress to a function through LINDA? For example, if I pressed ctr+shift+A the landing lights on the FSL A320 would turn on.

Hello forum members, The problem i am having is with the saitek multipanel, The altitude selection rotary knob when turned one click is selecting for example, 00120- 00240- 00370- 00490 and so on, when the following is selected on the saitek multi panel,00000-00240-00370-00670 the corresponding readings in the cockpit are 00400-00800-01200-02200, this is with default c172 running linda version 3.0.4, The problem does not happen in spad.next the selector works fine but i was having other issues with spad so decided to go with linda instead, Thankyou.

I have the saitek multipanel,switch panel and radio panel connected in my flight sim, i am using linda to assign the panels and have managed to assign all the switch panel no problem, i have also managed to assign all the multi panel switches as well, the thing i cant figure out is , when i turn the avionics master switch on the avionics light up in the cockpit of my cessna, but only the saitek radio panel lights up and not the multi panel, any help will be appreciated, thankyou.

After a year or so in the mothballs I installed P3D v4 (x64) Installed FSUIPC v5 - all working - updated LINDA and 737NGX module, OK - attached my MCP (v1), tests OK default FSX aircraft Baron, King Air, working with MCPCombo OK run 737NGX, not OK I can rotate and set 737NGX MCP with mouse in P3D4 and this syncs to outputs on MCPCombov1 OK but when I use rotaries or buttons on MCPCOMBO nothing happens in P3D4, with the exception of x-change COM,NAV 1 to 2 and back with <- X -> button what am I missing Any one?
