LINDA Support

Hi all, I've just installed the latest version of LINDA, and I was wondering, is there a specific way to copy over aircraft modules from the previous version? I've copied the folders from the /aircraft directories in the /linda and /linda-cfg folders, but when I open LINDA, none of my switch assignments are there. Thanks!

Hi to all. I'm a Linda newbie and I have two basic questions: 1. Is there a way to disable Linda inflight or not to start it automatically with FSX? ((for example by a key shortcut). The reason is that for my older aircraft I have set up the VriSim MCP Combo with the Standard VriSim Software and I would like to keep this for convenience. For newer aircraft I prefer to set them up using Linda. 2. Sometimes I would even like to use the Standard VriSim Software and Linda at the same time for the same aircraft, for example to use Linda for the MCP Combo and the Standard Software for other VriSim devices which Linda doesn't support. Hello, I searched the support forum of LINDA however I can't solve my problem. In brief, I can't use LINDA. I installed last versions both of FSUIPC and LINDA. I downloaded the last module of PMDG 737 NGX. I'm using Saitek X56 HOTAS. and P3D v3.3.5. It seems other type on the list but I thing it is not important. Becasue when I use a switch on stick, it appears on LINDA. FSX sync button is also selected and illuminated amber. When I configure an action to a switch, It is written on black font not green. But After clicking the save button, it appears on P3D with a line "LINDA configs reloaded". Also when I reload the LUA engine it is written LINDA restarting on P…

Hello, LINDA team: Firstly I woud like to congratulate you for this outstand software. Without it, I would send to the trash my 3 Saitek panels and I would never started my overhead panel project. However, since I've upgrated LINDA to 2.8.x releases, my Saitek displays have blinking or even not showing the airplane data. In order to make myself more clear, I have recorded what I have facing so you or anybody else can help me to fix that. Can anyone help please? I am installing (and learning) about LINDA for the first time because I want to extend my VR Insight Boeing MCP II and CDU II to all my purchased add-ons (e.g. Captain Sim 757/767 and others). I have read the documentation cover to cover. I have extracted the LINDA files to the FSX Modules Folder, modified FSUIPC.ini to recognise my MCP Combo and run/set up LINDA.exe. When I run LINDA.exe my Saitek/HID devices and MCP Combo Panel are recognised with green OKs! Hi all, Using LINDA 2.9.3 and FSUIPC 4.964 under JOYSTICK SETUP i have 2 Joysick: JetMAX 737 Throttle and SAITEK Yoke under SETUP LINDA -> SAITEK Panels is "unchecked" When both Joystick are enabled, the Buttons of the SAITEK Yoke are not avaible or working. Only the JetMAX Throttle is working. When uncheck the JetMAX 737 Throttle - the SAITEK Yoke is avaible and is working perfect. (Trimming up/down, etc.) It seems that they have a conflict working both site by site. Now i try in to "uncheck" the JetMAX 737 Throttle - and let the SAITEK Yoke as "checked" -> Pressing SAVE - and get the Message "OK!" When i start LINDA now again -&gt…

Hello everyone, I'm trying to perform a check in the linda console but it's a big mess because of several entries in the logs. The plane i use is the F1-B200 with lots of lvars I'm trying to filter but when i do a right clic in the console the only menu i have are "Stpo watching" and "filter text" on the word i clic on. Is there another way to filter the word i decide to filter not the one i found in the console, for exemple to find a specific command. I hope i'm clear enought to understand my request. I have had nothing but problems since the latest updates were release (last two with LAMP warnings). Prior to installing the new versions I backed up two folders: linda linda-cfg After install I copied back these files but the MCP II did not show the correct plane, just gave me the standard message. Note that the LINDA screen itself was showing the correct aircraft. I basically gave up and redownloaded the modules and started over which seemed to work for the PMDG 747 but for the Q400 even doing this I get nothing working on the MCP unit itself. Hi, I have had various versions of linda over the last couple of years. I have rebuilt my desktop and started all new an fresh, however when I launch linda I get the following warning "Unable to assign CTRL+ALT+Shift+F10 as a Hotkey" I have looked everywhere for anything bound to this key setup and can find nothing. I am currently using Linda 2.9.3, Prepar3D 3.4.22.19868 and FSUIPC 4.964 with an Saitek x52 as the only additional hardware. Does anybody know how to stop this? James.

Hi, I have downloaded the latest version Of linda, and I really don't understand, after installed it, on the Linda main menu all aircrafts disappeared. So I went back to the installation file and noticed that the only module was the default FSX. so where are all the others? why in the installation files there are no aircraft modules except the defeault fsx? thank you for your answer. To some reason when I load FSL A320X after a default plane Linda does not recognize the A320X with the latest Linda/FSL A320X profile. If I load a saved flight, that starts with FSL A320X Linda recognizes OK. Is it something that I'm doing wrong? Thanks,

Hello, I am having issues with Linda and the recently released PMDG 747 QOS V3. I am using the beta module for this aircraft and have assigned several switches. When the switches are toggled on or off, Linda shows the action assigned, but nothing happens in the sim. Also any switch or button action in the sim does not show anything in Linda Console or Tracer. It looks as if Linda is communicating with FSX, but not with the aircraft. This is happening in FSX Boxed as well as FSX SE. I am using te latest version of LINDA, PMDG 747 module, as well as the most up to date version of FSUIPC. BTW: LINDA is working fine for all other aircraft, including the PMDG…

Hi, I am running Linda 2.9.2 with the latest registered version of FSUIPC (4.963) With the console viewer on, Linda logging is fine. However when I attempt to select any box on the "FSUIPC logging" I get the 2 lines shown below come up on the console, and no FSX controls appear when buttons, (known to use default FSX controls) are pressed. ### Blocked: attempt made to change LogOptions via 3400, data 0x0001 FSUIPC logging bit set: 10 ----------(this logging bit is either 2, 6, or 10) depending on which option is selected.) Any ideas what could be the problem?

Guys, any heads up for a second VRINSIGHT unit Boeing MCP II on same OS where Airbus FCU was already installed? I've received MCP II today, so my plan is physically to swap them when necessary, just pulling out USB and Power cords, and placing the other unit in place of the first one and connecting it to the same wires. Do I still need to install VRI driver? I'd guess the drivers are different. Do I need to plug in the unit before installation? Or should I install the driver first then connect the unit? All LINDA users are recommended to install the latest version of FSUIPC4 (4.960) which fixes a number of issues with LINDA. This has been tested with LINDA 2.8.8. It resolves the problem where LINDA was not automatically closing when P3D v3.4 is shutdown and which caused LINDA to freeze when the aircraft or scenario is changed.

HI there. Yesterday I just downloaded latest LINDA, latest PMDG 747 V3 module and newest FSUIPC 4.963. I installed then and launched LINDA. It says EVERYTHING IS OK but now when I try to set up buttons on joysticks and throttles, it doesn't detect them when i press buttons on joysticks and throttle. Usually it will detect and show the number so i can make assignments. On top of that i seem to have lost all my control settings for every other aircrafts! I download new linda and just replaced over the old one. I guess i should have done backup first but i didn't. Does this mean my settings got replaced? This i can do again but I', still stuck with buttons not being detected…

It is my understanding that the Linda Tracer is able to be used to make the cockpit switches operate in real time, for example after loading a Lvars list and starting it, then selecting a Lvar item and using the "Set Value" to toggle between 0 and 1, the cockpit item related to the Lvar should respond? I am using 2 monitors, FSX-S on the main one, Linda on the secondary monitor. With the tracer successfully logging FSX-S, which is not paused, in the Tracer Console, when I use the "Set Value" to toggle from 0 to 1, FSX-S pauses automatically and I only get to see the toggle response on the cockpit item associated to the selected Lvar, when I un-pause FS…

New to Lua and programming in general, am I right in assuming that the function name can be anything I choose that is descriptive of its use? also I am trying to figure out why my code below wont work, nothing happens when I programme a switch on my X-55 with it. I used the LInda Tracer to find the Lvar relevant to opening the cockpit side door on the A2A Spitfire, and (after un-pausing FSX-S) the door opens by a command sent from the Linda Tracer "Set Value" Toggle (Shift+Ctrl+Alt+F10). Hi I have bought a VRinsight MCP Combo 2 but I am struggling to get it to sync to FSX. I am using FSX Steam Edition on Windows 10. When I run LINDA the configuration check lists say's Joy stick / HID devices ok, VRinsight MCP Combo OK, FSX / FSUIPC Settings OK. When I run VRiSim It finds the MCP-Combo but say's No Aircraft Found. The MCP-Combo shows SPD HDG ALT and Nav etc... However I don't get any response in FSX I have tried PMDG 737-NGX, Boeing 747, i737 I also have Saitek Yoke, Pedals, Throttle Quadrant and Switch Panel Can anyone help please
