LINDA Support

How do I map the dual-centric encoder used for the VHF Comm Radio? I cannot find an option for this under the VHF menu list.

Hi, I can assign "on Press" and works just fine :-),..but when assigning to "On Release" operation it don’t work (nothing happened when pressing the panel). for example, I can assign Pitot "ON" for "on Press" and then I assign the Pitot "OFF" to the "On Release". but when I press the Saitek panel nothing happens (can turn on pitot but not turn it off again). My setup: - win10/64 - P3D v3.4 - Linda 2.8.7 - only installed Saitek driver latest(Saitek_Pro_Flight_Panels_00000003_Software_pfw) - not installed the Saitek "Prepar3D ver 3.[X] plugins", is this needed? - Using MCP-I/Thrustmaster Hotas/DSD-FLT-1/CH-throttle and TH-MFD and they work just fine with Linda :-) ple…

Hi, I have just done a clean install of Linda 2.9.2 (487). MCP2 combo. P3D latest version. All my other Linda enabled aircraft are working fine with exception of the above Airbus Module. On selecting the Airbus I get User creation fatal error, then linda exits. I renamed appropriate files to.lua but no joy. Any Help to rectify this would be thankfully received. Andy

On 7th February I contacted Andrew as follows: I have this month moved from a 32bit HP130 se to a 64bit i7 3.5 ghz machine to enable the possibility og using 4gb memory and thereby avoid OOM’s. The graphic Card is a GTX 760, where I have resolved most of the stutter issue this Card had due to the Nvidia HD sound file which is now removed. During this change I can see that there have been some issues on your side resulting in completely new versions of FSUIPC and LINDA, which I have subsequently installed. Linda 2.8.9 Standard v2 + Aerosoft Airbus Module 4.4 v3 (downloaded today) for AIRBUS FCU. No assignments to DME/CRS knob/press can be saved, unfortunately. The rest work ok so far. Pls fix if possible or explain how to reconfigure. I've been trying to find what is wrong, but I keep having problems with the rotary dails assigned through LINDA. I'm using the MPC and eevry dail regularly jumps much further then the movement of the dail, especially when I'm trying to move single steps. I notice that when I turn up by one, the vallue goes down by one or two, or jumps up by ten or more. Its pratically impossible to get to any setting, or it takes up to minutes before I finally can dail up or down with steps of one to end up on the vallue I need. What can I do to make the dails functional?

Dear community, after having used FS Linda before in FSX I don't get it to work in P3D with the default aircrafts. What it does: -It seems to connect to P3D 3.3.5.17625 (FSX sync illuminated and I see a text message in P3D) -When I press buttons I see a reaction in FS Linda (BTW, is it normal that I get to see more buttons than actually physically available?) -I can define what a button should do no the "on press" state What it does not do: -trigger an event in P3D. Im setting up controls for the PMDG 737ngx and I cant get my joystick controllers to work in LINDA 2.9.2 The CH throttle and Saitek controllers' (yoke, 2x radio, multi and switch panel) signals are received by LINDA, the controller number is selected, on the corresponding device page, but when I add a function, there no repsons in the VC. My VRi T&T panel (USB pad), is in the controllers list in LINDA setup, but when I push a button, LINDA doesnt recognise any signal, the controller's page and number are not displayed. My MCP does work, though, so the connections from controller output, to LINDA, to FSUIPC, to P3D should be there... Any advise on how to fix…

Hello, I'm using VRinsight MCP v1 with PMDG 737ngx I programmed the mode 2 CRS, ALT, SPD ... knobs with the corresponding PMDG ngx commands to increase/dercrease the brightness of OVH panel, DU's, etc... But in flight when I switch to mode 2 for MCP the CRS, ALT will still change the course or the altitude or speed instead of brightness. Any ideas? Cheers, Luc

I’ve got 2 challenges that I hope LINDA may be able to resolve. I’ve no previous knowledge of using LINDA but have used FSUIPC for sometime. I fly the Aerosoft Airbus in FSX Steam and would simply like to put the AP on & off commands onto 2 buttons on my joystick. From what I’ve read this appears straightforward. The second requirement may not be so easy and I would welcome your views. This is an important question for VRi MCP1 (original) users. The MCP Combo page lists settings for the Knobs for + and - rotation broken down into 2 groups A and B. Hi , I have added a new HID (Leo Bodnar) IDD211500 to my exsiting HID which is also a Leo Bodnar card.(IDD211501) I had set up the first card with all my control assignments. Is it possible to make my new card IDD211500 because LINDA now shows all of my control assignments on my new card instead of the card I had already setup. I assume that this is a HID ID order issue? I have a message error in P3d when I "reload LUA engine" --> "Saitek Multi panel is DETECTED but couldn't be opended. I don't know how to resolve this error. 2. Hello Guenter, I have a problem with the MCP2 and v1.3 whereby I cannot switch the COMM radios between st/by to active. It very briefly looks to switch freq but then jumps back with both entries now displaying what was the active. This doesn't occur for the NAV radios or ADF and the comm switching works in the NGX.
