LINDA Support

Hi all, I am trying to trace an action but Linda is not showing anything happening. No Lvar, no ipc writes or controls. This is what i am trying to trace:- My aircraft has a mini keypad to enter data such as letters and numbers. When i get for instance the "direct to" popup i then press the letters to input an icao or whatever. Trouble is that Linda sees me pressing the "direct to" button and shows the corresponding Lvar activity. However it doesn't see the keypad letters when pressed. Any ideas? Btw the aircraft is the Carenado Phenom. Cheers Stinger

Im using the VRInsight MCP 2 (Boeing). I've downloaded and installed all latest versions of A/C, FSUIPC (5.123) LINDA and the modul for Majestic DASH 8-400. Everything seems ok except for the rotary knobs for HDG, ALT and VS. Nothing happens in the MCP window or in the A/C when I turn them. Any ideas? Regards Johnny

Hello In first sorry for my bad english. I have since one month the vrinsight combo II airbus All is right in the installation (all in green everything is ok) no red line in the console With fsx default and my aerosoft airbus, impossible to,action the button of the combo. in the other direction with my mouse in the p3d sim when i turn for exemple ALT the number move in the vrinsght. I've been using LINDA for a while. I just reinstalled my sim due a recent dll.xml issue that provoked a CTD. Updated to FSUIPC 4.959m, all good. But LINDA (updated to 2.88 today) does not trigger anything from any aircraft. I see that the buttons work in the LINDA GUI, but no action takes place in the aircraft. First time it does this to me. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Hi all, Little question: On the display of the radio-part i see on the upper line far right a number followed by a dash (/). It changes every second randomly (although that is my opinion) Can anybody tell me what this is or what the meaning is?

Thank you so very much for Linda. I've been a flight simmer since the SubLogic days (1980s) and owned my own plane when I was much younger. I recently began using Linda with P3Dv4 after I bought a USB button switch box. The Linda interface is so tiny on my 4K monitor it's difficult to read with my old eyes. I was just wondering if there is any way to enlarge the program and have larger fonts. Thank you for a fabulous program, your time and consideration. OldBob

Hi Scot, Hi all Thanks for the great job with FsLabs and linda Scot:) Now I have a serious issue when I'm using the MCP, the rotating knobs kept going inc/dec without changing the HDG lets say, also the ALT I do not know what to do really but totally I'm unable to use the MCP with the aircraft Also, when rotating the knob, it is not synchronized with the MCP screen I'm using the following: P3d V3.4.9 FSUIPC 4.792 LINDA 3.05 VRinsight MCP Airbus Thanks beforehand :)

Hi, i have a big problem. I bought some BBI-32 manufactured by LeoBodnar. Each card has a unique SerialNumber. If i connect one card, it works properly. If i connect another card, LINDA noticed some inputs from my cards. First, i checked the serial Numbers in LINDA. Every card has a unique Sernumber. I renamed both cards (LEO1 and LEO2). But it doesn`t solved my problem. It`s lseems that i have "multiple Ghost inputs" from the cards. If i using the cards seperatly everything is ok. I`m using LINDA 2.9.6.550 Uodate: I`m surprised! Hi all, I'm using LINDA since from the first release, and I'm very happy with it!! I found the program very useful, an solved me a lot of problem in the button assignment to my 3 Leo Bodnar cards and to my VRI MCP COMBO II (Boeing version). So far yesterday, I had a profile workimg well except for the V/S encoder that seemed to jump and not follow the value indicated on the iFly 737NG MCP (this is the model I usually fly). Trying to reprogram in LINDA the assigment for the encoder, I was able to found a couple of well working parameter, VVS plus and VVS Minus from FSX Default Rotary Functions library, and I'm satisfied with that. Hello, Has anyone expierenced such a problem? After starting fsx and switching linda to sync to sim, my PMGD 737 NGX is getting crazy :) All the switches and knobs programmed with LINDA start to operate by themselves with no interaction from my side. Gear lever, spoiler handle, autobrakes knob, reverse thrust etc. I'm using the lastest LINDA version and the latest module for NGX - 4.11. When I switch off syncing, all comes back to normal, however I cannot use the buttons programmed with LINDA. I use FSX boxed with FSUIPC registered. No buttons double assigned. Help please :)

Hi all: I have a problem with the combo 1 (first version) and any version of the LINDA higher than 1.13. It always blocked the CH Yoke. It starts working well, but at the moment, just 5 or 10 seconds after.... it blocks the joke and it does not work anymore. I have the throttle quadrant also, but only the yoke is blocked. It seems that it blocks the windows driver, although I do not know if it is motivated by the fsuipc or LINDA itself. Thank you, in advance. José M. Plasencia Fuentes.

I bought 3 HID Device from LeoBodnar BBI-64 with 64 inputs. It will deliver next week. Can LINDA and P3Dv4.1 handle this modul with 64 inputs?

Hi, Is anyone using LINDA and Chaseplane together. The reason I ask is I just installed LINDA to test functionality as I am planning on building a home cockpit but Chasplane no longer works. The hat switch on my HOTAS will no longer pan internal views or select presets within Chaseplane. Did I miss a config setting or is there something else I need to do to get them working together. I have installed LINDA on a new computer but can't seem to get LINDA to work. Everything seems normal in the LINDA GUI. 1) Summary...Joysticks/HID....everything is OK. VRInsight MCP Combo....everything is ok. Flt Sim / FSUIPC configs....everything is OK. 2) Setup MCP Combo. VRInsight enabled, checked. Type MCP2, Com port COM 7. Delay 15. Save. seems ok. Flt Sim version. P3D-64. FSUIPC version 5.122 ok! fsuipc4.ini Looking good (maybe this should say fsuipc 5?) 1:[VRInsight] found, ok 2: x=COM7 found, ok. but in the MCP window it never moves over to LINDA or recognizes the aircraft. Hello, after 18 month trying to connect ma mcp orig with the PMDG 777, i bought last week a mcp2 (Airbus style). First i deleted all old linda files overall. The I install successful the MCP2 and Linda ver. 2.6.4. The settings in Linda are ok. Copying the aerosoft Airbus and the PMDG files. The Airbus works fine. No reds error after reload lua. Default aircrafts works fine. After loading the PMDG 777 nor red Errors. The Displays of the mcp Change to the aircraft. Alt, Hdg, V/S s.o are shown on the mcp like on the fsx Panel. Probably shows how little I know: When I use LINDA to program buttons on the PMGG-737NGX a very Long list of functions pops up. Where does it come from? and once I program some keys where is that stored? I ask because I had to revert to an earlier version of Linda today. The latest just will not work with this plane in P3Dv4. Now I must reprogram all my 24 Throttle buttons unless I can find the earlier set. Everything is backed up, I just need to find it. Thanks for help Neal Howard

For users considering P3Dv4.1, I can confirm that LINDA 3.0.3 is compatible when used with FSUIPC 5.121b and compatible aircraft. A2A C172 and C182 owners should note that there is an issue with the steering tiller not working on the ground. Other aircraft tested (ie. default B58 and F35A and PMDG737NGX) work fine. Please report any issues with LINDA here.

Hi there, I use the MJC8-Q400 pro 64 bits with P3DV4.1, LINDA 3.0.5, Majestic Dash8 Q400 (module 2.5), MCP combo 2, HOTAS Saitek X52 pro FSUIPC 5. I meet problems in shared cockpit if I use the module 2.5. When the module 2.5 is deactivated everything works well but I cannot use MCP combo. Thanks for your answer.

I get this error code when trying to set up FSX control logging while using LINDA in P3dV4 and the Just Flight Dove/Devon. This is to work out which of the aircraft controls are using FSX controls and which are using Lvars so that I can construct my own LINDA module for this aircraft. Is there a way round the problem or will it be necessary to revert back to FSX while I construct the module. Thanks Ray
