I worked on some lua code to be incorporated (or just to create a new file) in the user.lua file of the DA62 to make the SMP fully compatible with this great aircraft. This Lua user module: Solve the infamous and frequent double action when we turn one notch of the increase/decrease (inc/dec) knob of the SMP to change target ALT, VS, IAS, HDG or CRS. Hi, Is there a hot key to reload Lua Engine during flight? Why? Because sometimes it happens to me that during flight suddenly my MCP doesn't respond anymore (shows serial nbr ...) The only way to fix that is to reload the lua engine. Problem is that I'm always flying in Full view and with multiple monitors. So After start-up I'll drag my instrument (pmdg 2D, OVH, ..) to my other screens. For me to be able to reload the lua engine I have to go to windowed mode to access the Linda program. Result is that after that I have to re-position all my screens again. I would be grateful if I could just use a key combination to reload lua engine du…

I recently added a USB wired PDP Xbox One controller to my setup mainly for ChasePlane view assignment and manipulation which works great. I then decided to use some of the extra buttons for assignment in LINDA with P3D but have an issue. Linda recognizes the Xbox One controller and it is enabled. All the automatically assigned P3D axis ect. have been deleted. When I press any Xbox button the LINDA Joystick screen switches to thedevice and appropriate button number for that controller as with all my other controllers which I use extensively with LINDA. I'm trying to make the Multi display work with VertxDA62. It's quite easy to make something functionnal by changin a few lines in the file common.lua but it is cumbersome to manage diffferent version of this file for each airplane. Would it be possible to have a function called from common.lua but just if a new function to get the values is defined in the user module for the aircraft. Has ANYONE successfully installed both the Boeing MCP Combo panel, and the Boeing CDU II from VRinsight? That is both functioning in FSX-SE with the PMDG 737 NGX. I asked because I would dearly love to have both, but in reading threads in this forum I'm under the impression that the software from VRinsight does not work well, so LINDA needs to be installed for the MCP, but LINDA does not work for the CDU, and that LINDA and the VRinsight software are mutually incompatible. Therefore it appears that one can only have one or the other, but not both. Is this true? Again, has nobody succeeded in having both units, and them working as they should? PLEASE ADVISE…

Hello, im using LINDA with Spad old/next for PMDG. It worked without any conflict in saitek multi panel. But, when i used it for Aerosoft CRJ. I tried turn the knob to change the altitude, but between exact alttiude number theres other number show up it starts with 3xxx. Changing the altitude it is also change the other number too. I found this when only using LINDA and Spad.next on Aerosoft CRJ.

Hi, After i start using Linda to program my Go-Flight modules, the RADIO display and NAV display of the Go-Flight Modules don't light up anymore. (i do not use the MCP Combo! Nor any other radio devices, only the Go-Flight ones) The modules work, because when i turn the knob, in the sim the dails change, its only that the frequency displays on the Go-Flight Modules don't work. The Radio and Nav module is not connected to linda, it is still run from the Go-Flight interface. Is there something i can do? I would like the displays to show the frequencies. I have been using SPAD.Next for many years with VoiceAttack. SPAD.next created a simple plugin for use with VoiceAttack and therefore VoiceAttack commands could be used to execute LVars that were programmed with SPAD.Next. I contacted VoiceAttack regarding the use of LINDA with their program and they said if LINDA could provide a plugin for VoiceAttack it could be used the same as SPAD.Next. Since I have upgraded from all my Saitek equipment and no longer use SPAD.next but instead have adopted LINDA I really miss this capability. Would it be possible for the LINDA team to provide a plugin or would this have to be done through FSUIPC and if so could you work with Pete…

I am enjoying assigning many of the controls to my panel, however, I seem unable to find any assignment which relates to the left and right fuel control levers. Am I missing something? As these are essential controls, I am eager to get them working. Many thanks.

Hello, A quick question about GSX refueling action and Q400 : I'm using the latest version available but is this fonction deprecated in 2.6 ? : - added GSX refueling (calling refueling truck will open MJC payload program - be sure to add the correct path in the \Prepar3D v3\Modules\linda\aircrafts\Majestic Dash 8 Q-400\actions.lua at line 63 ) I can't find anything related to this in actions.lua... I'm trying to write a lua function to set the brightness of the 4 main display panels PFD, ND, ECAMU (ECAM Upper) and ECAML (ECAM Lower) all to 50% but I cannot find what the appropriate LUA script is to do each of these. I actually don't want to assign an increment and decrement function but rather set all 4 displays to 50% with one assignment. Can someone help me with what the scripts are need to do this in a function I want to write? When I run the tracer I see AB_MPL_PFD_Power=12 and so on as I move the dial but am not sure of the format to issue a settings command I tried what I stated with a 50 value but it didn't work. I have downloaded and installed many of the Add-on LINDA files and they all work great except for the "RealAir Duke v1.1" file. When I load the RealAir Duke Turbine in P3Dv4.4 LINDA does not recognize it and sees it as just another a "Default FSX" aircraft. I am able to assign any buttons I like but LINDA isn't associating it with the custom file folder giving me access to all the special functions the author developed. Has anyone else had this issue? Perhaps it's related to the way we all had to create our own add-on folder and xlm files to get it to work in version P3Dv4 ? Aslo I noticed there is nothing in the linda.cfg > aircrafts > RealAir …

HI i understand this may be a difficult request. but i am looking for a (very nice) person to help me with the Linda Tracer tool. I have a registered version of FSUIPC and I have the LINDA tracer. My goal is to program a custom made rotary encoders / flip switches + saitek panels for planes like PMDG or Carenado, which have LVARs and custom functions. I need to be able to press a button in the sim and trace what events and functions are called to then program them into SPAD.NEXT. I have tried the FSUIPC console and LINDA tracer console and it just lists an insanely fast amount of information. Is there another way to locate the functions called ? or get a li…

I was wondering what the best way to backup all the aircraft profiles I’m creating? The maintenance function seems disabled and does nothing. Should I just backup the entire P3D module folder and if I do this would I just copy all the LINDA folders back if something goes wrong? Also is there any dependency between the saved LINDA files and any FSUIPC files? Thanks in advance Joe

Evening , Am having problems trying to get my vrinsight mcp combo (airbus version ) to work . linda is installed [3.0.9 ] am using p3dv4.4 and fslabs A320 both are up to date versions .the newest version of fsuipc 5, the USB driver cdmv2.12.28 have also tried the driver which came with the combo serial IFP2. everything seems to be installed ok , once p3d is started the combo panel flashes off than on again but the displays- doesn't change it still says fcu-combo /airbus vrinsight,flight type v1.00/dream supplier / instruments radio via vrisim. any help would really be appreciated I've looked through all topics but still no luck . regard tony

I’m new to LINDA having recently got a warthog HOTAS. I’ve got the A320 module and got lights etc working nicely but I’d love to get the APU controls mapped to some switches too. How can I do it or has anyone managed to do it yet?

Hello, everybody, I have problems configuring the PMDG 777-200 under Prepar3Dv4. It uses Linda 3.0.9 for P3D 64-bit. After starting the simulator the Configurations Checklist Joystics (Everything is ok and green) shows VRinsight MCP Combo as well and FltSim/FSUIPC config is green and everything is o.k. Under Settings I see the PMDG 777-200 in the orange window. On the right side SYNC TO SIM is orange and at Module/Author/Version/Date is n/a. Linda does not connect to the simulator. Hi All, I have got myself a decent flight control system and am trying to assign some of the functions to the switches and rotaries. I have managed this fine with the PMDG 747 and using offsets and am trying to create a profile for the bus through FSUIPC and have created an lua file to do various functions but am a little confused with some of it. The baro increment and decrement is fine as there is some offsets in the action.lua file I got from the Linda forums over at Avsim but I am struggling to try and get other functions to work. Hello, I use VRinsight MCP combo II for airbus, everything ok with Linda and Fsuipc on P3D 3.4. Linda and the combo are OK with a default aircraft of P3D. But Linda cannot find my airbus folder 318/319 and still remain in Default FSX. I have installed the last file for airbus into the Module folder. Some functions of the combo are well working with the airbus (com, baro) but thats all. In Linda I can only choose the Default FSX and no other aircraft. Thanks for the support Pierre.
