LINDA Support

Following a new Windows 10 64 bit PC installation and a clean install of P3dV5.1 my PMDG 737 - 700NGX VRInsight MCP works perfectly, does what it says on the tin! Probem is the other PMDG 737 Variants, e.g. 737-800 and -900 whilst recognised by LINDA in the selection box at the top of the splash page, they do not function with the other variants. I have tried copying the -700 Linda files into the -900 folder but no joy. Be grateful for some guidance please Many thanks - Roger Flitter

Hello, As a new user of Linda, i am very happily using it with my Logitech panels and VRInsight MCP There is one thing i haven't figured out yet. How can i create a new Profile? When i click on the "new" button (left of the MSFS Default box) I get a new window "new aircraft module", where i can enter a name, etc., but the create button always remains greyed out. Reading through the Beginners manual i couldn't find a solution either. Any suggestions / help would be highly appreciated. Cheers, André

hello, I have a question. I noticed that while I am taxiing the Aerosoft A320 prof in P3Dv4.5, the light switches: Nav light, beacon, taxi light, which are turned on, are turned off when I start up LINDA. Hmmmm... I not sure why it does that but can someone tell me how to resolve the little issue.

It seems like after the latest MSFS update that Linda is not working correctly. I have a Honeycomb yoke and am running FSUIPC7 and Linda 4.0.3. A little background. One of my issues with MSFS and the Honeycomb yoke is that with the yoke set up in MSFS with switches assigned, if I go to adjust my heading bug, it will adjust in 10 degree increments. The early fix was to not assign any of the Honeycomb switches in MSFS. That allowed the heading bug to adjust in 1 degree increments. But couldn't use the yoke switches. Then, with FSUIPC7 and Linda 4.0.3 I was able to assign the switches through Linda and was able to operate the switches and have 1 degree increments with t…

Hello, I have Linda installed side by side on both p3dv4 and 5, but v5 does not appear to be working at all. I have version 3.2.6 installed for use in v5 and a profile setup for the PMDG 747, but none of the switches are responding in the sim. I have tried reloading the LUA engine several times as well as closing and reopening LINDA, but this does not resolve the issue. How can I fix this?

Hi Folks, I tried to download LINDA to P3D5 and the file was blocked. I asked the support of Norton to assist me, but the assistant didn't accomplish to solve the problem. Any suggestion?

Hi Andrew, I was happy to see that the new Linda beta file for MSFS was out. I installed it and also FSUIPC 7 beta, ran the GUI and followed the starting instructions. (i have the updated MSFS version 1.7.14.0) When starting FSUIPC7 the the lights in my MCP Combo II (Boeing) flash once when FSUIPC is connecting, but after that now show. Linda is restarting alright after FSUIPC is run, but in the MCP Combo screen there is nothing indicating it has connected to the MS default aircraft and the buttons don't work either. I have instaled Linda 4.03 and Fsuipc 7. The Airbus FCU is partly functional, but the VRiSim Module says Device not found. I have setup with Default Aircraft. Should I use VRisim?

Hi There, Any plans to add separate barometric functionality for FO side for A330 please (P3D V5) ? No issue for A32X as Capt/FO are synced. Would be a welcome improvement for A330. Many thanks.

Hello! When I tried the last 737 NGXu expansion from PMDG, the Cargo version, I was able to use the 737NGXu LINDA Profile as normal. But with the new BBJ addon LINDA is not recognizing the Aircraft. Is there something to setup to fix this? Sorry if there is an easy solution, I wanted to ask so that I dont mess anything up 🙂 Thank you!

Just been given a Multi Panel from Saitek amd i’m wanting to use it on PMDG and with linda i have the modules. My question is what do I select for alt, vs, ias, hdg and crs inc and dec value as the saitek switches between the modes and has one knob to change the values

Help Please! I am doing a new install of P3dv5 on a new PC with Windows 10 64bit. I have discarded FSX and P3DV4 (which were working OK). I have installed scenery and PMDG 737NGXu plus of course all the default aircraft. I have installed FSUIPC6 and LINDA 3.2.6 and I believe have followed all rthe guidance in Scot Flieger's accompanying manual. No matter what I do I cannot get the Saitek Switch Panel to work although the Gear Down/Up lever did work for a while. Meanwhile, the Boeing MCP II panel woirks perfectly. Hi all, my 3 cockpit phd devices work flawlessly in the MSFS 2020. Multi-Purpose Flight Box Pro (Engine start), Multi-purpose Toggle PRO-PANEL, Lights Control with master switches PRO-PANEL and many others Opencocpits MCP, EFIS etc. With every start Linda's assignments are reversed. As example asignment of the lights are swapped with the engine starter, the engine starter with the lights panel. How can I bind the linda map firmly to a usb panel? I think I have things set up correctly, LINDA is connecting and confirming everything is OK and I am seeing the settings on the Airbus MCP, however, I cannot change any of the items to control the Autopilot. I do have it set to Autopilot mode in the LINDA control panel. I must have missed a step, any ideas? thanks.

Hello, I use Linda for long time and had all configured in 2015. It worked perfectly with FSX and P3D V3 ou V4. I've chanded my PC recently and bought MSFS 2020. So, I reinstall actually all my addon's, and LINDA. I've downloaded free FSUPIC 7. No problem to configure my Saitek Switch Panel, it work's perfectly. In the other hand, I don't remember how to configure the Saitek radio Panel ! Is there a specific topic for this (I didn't find by searching) or a already done file to download ? I'm pretty sure I know the answer (I did 'RTFM' ::grins::) but I just want verification: LINDA does not support the functionality of the Saitek radio panel outside of default aircraft. Therefore, since I am flying the AccuSim B-17, the radio panel will not work. Correct?

I have LINDA on my one computer (Alienware Aurora R4/Windows 7) for playing FSX:SE, and it opens within seconds. I've never had a major issue in the two years I've used it. I've just purchased a newer computer, specifically for playing flight sims,which runs Windows 10. I was using LINDA with the FSUIPC7 Beta without issue until my last flight, today. I completed the first leg of the flight without issue using the default C208B. When taking off for the next leg, I reached approximately 60 KIAS, and the plane suddenly flipped over onto its side causing the sim to stop when it detected the plane had crashed. I reloaded the flight immediately however now none of the assigned buttons work and my VRInsight MCP2 Boeing is not registering when starting LINDA. Hi Guys Just started using Linda and got everything setup for NGXu, I also have PF3 and MCE, when in the flight and respond to my ATC (PF3) I press the yoke button 1 to talk, but whenever I press it, P3D pauses and brings up the Linda window instead. Ive checked in Linda and there is no command set for the yoke at all, and I have even disabled it in the joystick menu I tried changing from yoke button to Del key on Keyboard in MCE settings but it still brings up the Linda window instead Any help with this?
