LINDA Support

Using P3Dv5 and FSUIPC 6.0.8 the Linda install 3.2.3a will not keep 'Start GUI with sim' option. I can start and run in sim and everything else works.

Hi, i need help regarding Linda and FsLabs. I have installed P3D 4.5 HF3 and the latest Linda and FSLabs Airbus. FSUIPC 5.153 is registered. My FCU Combo is recognized by LINDA. Also my Joysticks and Buttons. I assign Buttons and click on save. Linda is restarting the module and everything seems fine. But the FCU Combo doesn´t trigger an action inside the Airbus in the VC. I have no more ideas, what could be the problem. Any suggestions/ideas. Thank you for your help in advance. Kind regards Tasso

Fairly new to LINDA here and loving it... I had this aircraft set up PERFECTLY, but reinstalled my OS and P3D. What I did was backup the Modules folder, then restore it once P3D was installed. All of my Dash 8 mappings are present, but some don't work, such as 'select eng x and start'. Should I just delete the entire Dash 8 profile and start over, or is there a way to resolve this perhaps?

Would be great if you could support the buttons in the Audio Panel so it was posible to select Mic for VHF and buttons for listen into VHF1-3 It will be great having these when flying Vatsim etc...

I recently installed linda in p3dv5. I copied my linda/linda cfg files over, and as I did so saw 100's of .lus files veing transferred! when I examined the folders I found every linda/airplane had a folder with back up .lua files for every flight I hab ever done. years of them? Is this necessary? how did I option this (if I did), and how can I disable this option? Kind Regards Niall Kavanagh

Hello, I'm having issues with Linda following the installation of version 3.2.0b. I followed the installation instructions: 1) Install P3Dv5 2) Install FSUIPC 6.0.5 (and registered it) in the P3Dv5 Add-ons folder. 3) Download LINDA 3.2.0b and copy its contents into the FSUIPC6 folder. But when I run LINDA it gives me the following errors before launching the application. I tried launching it as administrator but it still gives me the same errors. What have I done wrong?

Hi, First of all, Im very new to this stuff. I just installed FSUIPC 6. I've read from all the forums that you need to paste the Linda files into the Modules folder of P3d. However, FSUIPC downloads in Documents-> Prepar3D v4 Add-ons -> FSUIPC6. Do I need to copy/paste the FSUIPC files into my P3d root modules folder? Or do I need to copy/paste the Linda files into Documents-> Prepar3D v4 Add-ons -> FSUIPC6? Kind regards, Jesper

Still having problems. On the Maintenance page it to install core LINDA software it wants LINDA source. I have LINDA installed to FSUIPC folder in P3d v5 add-ons folder. Nothing I select will give me a source location. ALso, when I try to sync to sim, only FTX Default aircraft shows. I have imported several modules.

Hi, I am using VRinsight cdu II panel and it comes with a software for keymapping. In the software you can assign controls to FSUIPC by sending offset value (for example PMDG737 TAXI LIGHT is 69749) and command for it. Usually I have found these offsets values inside the lua script of the plane by using LINDA (I also use it for my other controls), but when I'm editing actions I cant find any values. Lvar is for example "AB_AP_AP1". Is there any way to find out the actual offsets values or am I missing something here? By the way, many thanks to all the developers, fantastic job! -Jesse

As I'm sure everyone is aware, P5D has been released today. Alongside this release, FSUIPC6 has also been released. Upon installation (free version because Simmarket seems to be delaying the release of the payware version), it no longer installs within the simulator, but instead within the now-common documents folder, making it completely external and the modules folder obsolete. With all of these changes, I'm wondering and hoping to hear of continued development for LINDA considering its external hardware capabilities. I would appreciate any insight and look forward to hearing more. Thank you. Matthew

I am sure hoping for some help here. I installed LINDA as per the instructions and went through and deleted the configurations from the FSG.cfg folder, so I think i have the installation correct. However, when I go to set up the switches in LINDA, I do not have the functions to choose from such as lights and APU and whatnot. All it shows me is InitVars. I do not get LINDA 3.2.0 to work in P3DV5. I have both V4.5 and V5 of P3D installed. I have done the following. I have installed a registered version FSUPC6. I chose to install FSUIPC in both V4.5 and 5. FSUIPC has been added to the modules folder in P3D V4.5 and there is an XML file documents / prepar3d v5 add-ons. According to the log file for FSUIPC, the installation worked. I have FSUIPC in both version 4.5 and 5 of P3D. I did a backup of P3DV4.5 modules folder where I had the previous LINDA version. I copied all files from LINDA 3.2.0 to the modules folder in P3DV4.4 and overwrite old files. I copied my two LINDA folders linda and linda-cfg from my backup into P3DV…

I couldn't add this to the existing Majestic Q400 LINDA page but if anyone needs to assign range controls to the Majestic Q400 (not just increase or decrease), here is the code. Hi everyone. I wonder if anyone can help me with this. Been at it for days and to no avail. I owe a vrinsight MCP Combo FCU II for airbus in which the company in question haven’t updated the drivers since 2016 and have no plans in doing so! Ive tried to pair it with aerosoft A318/319/320/321 professional and although everything seems ok in the settings which I followed step by step I can’t make it to work other than the radio panel. Hi all, I am building a cockpit with real buttons. LINDA recognizes the installed USB joystick cards. Thus, I will be able to assign some aircraft functions. It is cool. But some hardware is driven by SIOC script language which could be used to manage an FSUIPC offset 3340 to trig a virtual joystick on buttons press/release. Do you know if I can retrieve an offset value from LINDA in order to assign the appropriate addon function ? Or if LINDA is only able (and it is even great) to deal with physical joystick conecnted to the PC instead ? Thanks Philippe

Hey all! I'm not new to flightsim but I am new to Linda. Downloaded the 3_1_1_4 (Standard_v1) and reading the notes and instructions. The notes refer to two folders in the zip file, \Modules and \Sound. Yet I don't see the \Sound folder. I have folders Linda, Linda-cfg, and files ipcReady.lua, LINDA.exe and linda.lua I've backed up the modules folder but don't want to start install without the sound folder? Also, what happens to my FSUIPC in the current modules folder? Appreciate your help. James P3Dv4

I recently started using LINDA and can't believe I waited this long...it's great! I followed all the directions for proper install and everything worked fine....until today. My brakes, which are controlled by a button on my yoke, are completely ineffective. They still work, but, for instance on landing, I run off the end of the runway as they no longer assist in slowing the aircraft. Side note, and I know I'm not supposed to do it, but if I set up the brakes in FSUIPC, (sending them to FS Control, just as I do in LINDA), they work just fine. I hope this is enough information in order to get some suggestions as to how to fix the problem.

Hi I've been having big problems with my setup since upgrading my pc. (Same SSD's) I think the problem was some usb devices weren't working correctly when plugged into USB 3 ports. Anyway I have just plugged in the bodnar boards again, but LINDA appears to have put the incorrect assignments on each board. board 1 BBI 64 (MCP) Board 2 BBI 64 (Lights + Some of Overhead) Board 3 BBI 64 (Rest of Overhead) MCP assignments are on Board 3 Lights on Board 2 Rest of overhead on Board 1.
