LINDA Support

Hi, I saw in a Youtube video that a Simmer sends the FPS value into the display of the Saitek Radio Panel. Can I use Linda to do such a thing or do I need to use Spad.next or something like that? Thanks

I've no idea why this happens, and I'm hoping there is an easier method of fixing it than what I've been doing. I've quite a few flight sim peripherals plugged in, all Saitek/Logitech: Pro Flight Yoke w/throttle quadrant, X-52 Flight System (stick and throttle), Pro Flight Rudder pedals, Radio Panel, Switch panel, and five additional throttle quadrants. As long as I unplug and replug back to the same USB port, no problems. But if I change the plug/port... Usually that isn't a problem, as long as it's just a single plug/port change. Hi, I was hoping someone might be able to help me troubleshoot something. I downloaded the awesome PMDG DC-6 module from here. I am also using a Vrinsight boeing MCP. I have some knowlege of LINDA and LUA I have picked up over the years. Anyway, I enjoy flying the DC-6 with the default FSX autopilot (not the built in one) I know its not "authentic" but I enjoy it more. Anyway, I have assisned the default FSX autopilot commands to my MCP. However, when it comes to HDG, ALT and VS (assigned to the rotary knobs) the adjust the value up or down, but after a short period of inactivity, the value on the MCP display goes to the zero. I'm using P3D 5.1 with the MCP1. When selecting the PMDG 777 200-LR in the sim with Linda 3.2.6 and FSUIPC 6.0.11 and being in "sync to sim"-state Linda selects the PMDG 777 and not the LR. Any changes to Linda definitions go to the folder PMDG 777 but the runtime uses the definitions from folder PMDG 777-200LR. And, I cannot operate the dials, only the buttons. The other PMDG planes (747 and 737) are ok.

Hi all, So, I have installed LINDA 4.04 and a registered copy of FSUIPC7 on my computer. FSUIPC seems to be working fine - I have axes assigned with it, and even a few buttons, and they all seem to work. LINDA recognizes my button presses, however, no matter what command I assign, even a simple keypress, the command does not register in FS when I trigger the appropriate joystick button. LINDA will highlight the button in question, so I know it is seeing the button press, but FS does not seem to be getting the commands, no matter what I do. Hello, I need your help ... I own a VRinsight FCU combo. I would like it to be recognized by MSFS 2020. I have installed FSUIPC7 and linda. I also installed "VRinsight base package" and the one that corresponds to the "FCU combo module", but when installing this FCU combo module, I cannot complete the process, because I cannot indicate the path for MSFS 2020. I read somewhere on this forum that it was okay ...(?) Hi I've just moved from the Aerosoft A320 to the FSLabs and I notice a few differences in what LVars are included. Aerosoft has most of the overhead panel annunciators lights modelled as LVars, such as AB_OVH_APU_MASTER_LIGHT_ON which I can see using the tracer but I can't find a similar function in the FSLabs when using the tracer. Hi, So since QW updated to v1.4 I have an issue that buttons are not working correctlly when initialy pressed on my panel. Why initialy ? Because only when I press buttons on the QW78 aircraft itselft they begin working via the panel. Strange isuue... any idea ? For example: Pressing TERR on my panel - switches on WX :-0 After pressing TERR on QW787 panel via sim -> The TERR buttons on my PANEL working fine... Same with all other buttons.... Good evening, I have FSX, Not the steam edition. I have recently downloaded linda in hopes of being able to program my new honeycomb alpha yoke to work with all my wilco/feelthere aircraft. When i assign the light switches (beacon, strobes,navm taxi and landing lights) the swithces move on the linda program but the lights will not come on on my fsx wilco/feel there aircraft? Does anyone know what the issue could be or how to program those switches to work with those add on aircraft?

Regarding ANNEX B - SAITEK RADIO PANEL AND MULTI PANEL CONFIGURATIONS, the instructions state that the settings can also be found in file config-hid-saitek.lua in folder /linda/aircrafts/MSFS Default. Should that be folder /linda-cfg/aircrafts/MSFS Default, instead?

Hello guys and many many thanks for such a great job you all did it with Linda. I used in all P3D versions and I had no problems. Today I am using MSFS2020 and I don't manage to use Linda since last 3 or 4 uppdates of the LINDA msfs2020 version. Everytime I start Linda, it takes few seconds until the new "value" is sent to my pc. For example if I am adjusting the altitude, when I rotate on my MCP(1) the altitude button from 5000ft to 5500ft, I first get 5100ft then stuck for 1-3 seconds then goes up to 5500ft but if I do that normaly I get some others values...Same with ATH or FD button, sometimes doesn't show that it reacts sometimes it goes. I have two assignments I am unable to delete. I am using the Honeycomb Bravo throttle and have the parking brakes assigned to positions 34 and 35. This causes a conflict and I need to delete them. Each time I choose "remove assignments", the entry changes to red and I save. When I return, the assignment is there and green. Any idea how to solve this issue? Thank you Michael

Hello! I am new to the forums and would like to confirm something before i spent a bunch of cash! I am very interested in the MCP Combo II - Airbus Version from VRinsight. There are some dated videos on youtube and old infomation for previous sims online but there doesnt seem to be much around MSFS2020. I know this is a fairly new simulator however. Has anyone purchased or used this unit with MSFS2020 using the FlyByWire Mod and achieved full funcationality? Thanks in advance! James

I installed your Macro Files V 1.5 When I run my bus with P3D and assign e.g. a button function, I get the message: "Macro: mouse action Failed: Rect X2440300a, Action 13 (LeftRelease)" Now I found, that the mouse area of my Overhead Panel, which resides on a different monitor as "undocked window", is wrong and does not match. Hi, I have MCP Combo I + Linda 4.0.4a + FSUIPC 7.0.4 + MSFS 2020 and i would like to know the possibility to set COMMs with 3 decimals. At some Airports we have 119.105Mhz and 123.980Mhz. How can i set these COMMs? For the: -123.980MHz - when i turn the Nob the decimals change like these: .00; .02; .05; .07. .00. How can i set .98? -119.105Mhz - There is any possibility to set this kind of Ferquencies on MSFS with Combo I BRgrds

I'm using P3D v4.5 FSUIPC 5.153 Linda 3.1.1 and trying to trace the LVARS for the Aerosoft Airbus. Log Lua events is selected in the console window I've followed the advcie in numerous posts but the only lines I get in the console window begin with Lockheeed or General or Local: irr or even Local Name = MW_1087 ?? Hi, I just ordered a MCP combo II to use along with the fslabs a320 and I have been doing some reading to be prepared for setting everything up. I understand that the best way to use it is with FSUIPC and the linda plugin found here, however speed, alt, hdg selections dont display properly because FSlabs wont provide any ability to grab that info. I ask this question without having any experience whatsoever with lua or any understanding of how the airbus speed/alt/hdg selector works (my intention with purchasing the MCP is to learn 🙂 is it possible to "initialize" a value for the readout at the beginning and capture the rotary increments from there on out …

Hello, i have a Overhead Panel and i use i/o boards from Tekworx . I dont understand to install this with Linda (FSUIPC) Testing on APU GEN Switch there is on my board the Switch29, Linda has only show 80 Inputs?! I use Prepar3D with Aerosoft A320, this all Working now i set in Linda by 29 (AB OVH APU GEN off or on) And in Prepar3D i press on my real OVH and nothing ... only my LED Flash on orig. OVH.... HI, I am running LINDA v3.1.1.854 on FSX SE, I have just downloaded and "installed" the Carendo Phenom 300 module. I have assigned controls to my switches, but they have no effect in the aircraft nor showing in the LINDA tracer. Any help with this will keep my sanity a little longer lol

I am using LINDA 3.1.0 for P3D 64 bit... I am also using the Honeycomb Bravo as my throttle set. I have downloaded and installed the latest A3XX LINDA module (1.9). When i try to assign the reversers to the engines, only #1 responds to the reverser movement on the throttle..LINDA shows activation when i activate reverser on #2 engine but the Aersosoft A330 Professional will not engage the reverser.

Hi I'm new here and wondering if I could have some help.I'm trying to build an overhead panel with LED annunciators. So far I've managed to get some switches connected to an Arduino acting as a joystick, and using LINDA have them act as switches inside the aircraft. The next step for me would be to try and get some LEDs to act as the annunciator lights in the aircraft.Using LINDA I've managed to find the Lua Variables for the lights I want, but I'm not sure how to have LINDA communicate with the Arduino to output the Lua Variable to the LED.Any ideas guys?Many ThanksOscar

Hi, i have created a new aircraft module and selected "copy from existing". when i load the aircraft the controls from the "existing" aircraft don't show on linda, although they do show on the config.hid. any help will be gratefully recieved. Thanks

Is there a way of adjusting the time delay for the repeat function? By that I mean the time that must elapse when a button is pressed and held for that to trigger the repeat function.

I am trying to follow the LINDA 4.0.3 BETA instructions and I just can't seem to get my VRInsight to talk to FS2020 without using VRiSim. I've: - Followed all the instructions, including ordering of opening programmes (LINDA --> FS2020 --> FSUIPC 7 in Cockpit mode) - bought an FSUIPC 7 license - tried reinstalling all software. Despite this, I still need to open VRiSim and let it take over the MCP and then it talks to FS2020, but I'd rather use Linda so that I can programme some buttons. Any help would be super appreciated.
