Voice Control Version

Hello Bryan and FS2CREW users, I take at least one flight a day since FS2CREW is released for NGX. In this time period I discover that running the checklists over and over become very boring, because nothing changed. Because all switches and buttons are in the same position like the flight yesterday and tomorrow. So, what do you think to add some miracle to FS2CREW who switched some necessary switches and buttons to a wrong position. In this particular case you MUST really check all the checklist items carefully, otherwise you will run in serious trouble later in flight. I hope you understand what I was trying to explain. Hi, I have a question about doing the approach briefing before the TOD as the manual states. How can I know if I will be using STAR or vectors (ok, I know it, but just because I don't fly online and ignore ATC except for takeoff and landing :) ). Also, how would I know if I'll need anti-ice or if the runway will be wet/dry when I am 150nm away? ATIS won't pick up that far. Looks to me like I'm requested far more informations than I have before the TOD. My problem is what happens for example if I tell my FO that I don't need A-Ice, and then by hearing the ATIS I understand I might? Guess manual switch on would be the solution right?

Hi all, My icon to open main panel only works in 2d cockpit view, when i switch to virtual cockpit, there is no icon to open fs2crew main window. I uninstalled both PMDG and Fs2crew, I reinstalled PMDG with sp1c I reinstalled FS2CREW with sp1 and reenabled voice control, I installed as admin and disabled uac, edock disabled load flight with trike aircraft and 2d cockpit, not sure, a little lost here awsome product i might add, thanks Vince

Bryan, Just a doubt upon reading some other threads in the forum. I did select the option to load the 2D panel by default in FSX, but when I load the 737 it starts with the 2D panel (with all instruments streched and messed up, by the way) and, after a couple of seconds, it switches to VC automatically, without me touching anything. I don't mind about the 2D because I only fly VC, but may that cause problems with FS2Crew or is it ok because it starts with 2D, even if it turns into VC by itself? I haven't noticed strange things in FS2Crew, even if I just did a quick flight. Thank you.

I have downloaded the sevicepacks and using the FScrew PMDG 737 Special Bundle Pack- Voice Everything is working fine I can hear the captain's voice, also ATC annoucements, Background noice. Setting switches etc. The only thing I can't hear is the voice of the FO. I have set "Do Nothing" in the windows control panel. I have checked everything. My speech recognizer is set to English-US and I have checked the set up pages. I have tried every checklist. I am using a headset Logitech G330. Can someone help me out?

Hello all, today i made the update to 1.1 and everything works fine. I have reinstalled the NGX Sp1c and the reinstall the FS2Crew NGX. But since the Update to 1.1 the volume of the FA Cabin Announcements, after the FA Question me to start Bording, is too loud.I can hear the passengers take Seat and so on but it is so loud that i cant hear the FO speaking anymore.Till the FA says Boarding completed. I have tried to adjust the volume via the CAB Knob but it doesent take effect. Anybody else with that Problem ? Sorry for my bad English :-)

Hi Is its possible to start the Timer without running the PF Sequence? I would like to do the Preflight Actions by my self, but i dont want to loose the Timer. Without the timer i dont have a boarding :-( thank you cya chriz

Hi before i updated to sp1 the pre start sequence had worked with no problems, now i dont hear the boarding call, or the load sheet call etc, also when calling for coffee etc i hear the pa come in and asking me and than i hear him leaving and thats its, i dont hear him coming back and after if i say thanks i can hear him saying no problem and him leaving the cockpit. Also desnding down thru fl10k i get a slight pause in the sim as i didnt get before with the earlier release.so was wondering if there is a quick solution or do i need to unistall fscrew2 and reinstall.

Well, this program has started causing me issues during my red eye overnight flights. The problem came to the forefront last night. On another post I remarked about a problem with the landing checklist I had going into KMSP. This was occurring a little after 3am my local time. Apparently as the F/O was not responding to my flaps 30 reply over and over my voice octave went up a notch or two. Well this led to the CEO of the house being awakened at the ungodly hour (for her) of 3am. What made this even worse was this was the second time this happened while speaking to my "imaginary friend" as she so eloquently puts it since FSCrew's release for the ngx. So while I find this …

Do I really have to Select all the time? Can that be changed in a new SP? I just dont see the need to say "Select Heading XXX" you know what I mean?

I had this problem with the JS4100 voice commander aswell, I keep getting an ntdll.dll error when flying in orbx regions.Faulting module path: C:Windows\Sys WOW64\ntdll.dllThis only happens when doing a flight with fs2crew, maby its just pushing my system over the edge, anyone else? Or does anyone have advice.

First of all sorry if this has been asked before; I just couldn't find it.My question is whether the appropriate checklist is loaded when/if I load one of the default NGX panel states (clddrk, long, short, default) or if I have to change to the correct one manually.In addition what is the correct checklist for each panel?i.e. For the clddrk state it's the Preflight, for the short it's the ???? and for the other two.....Thanks in advance guys and thank you Bryan for this excellent piece of work!

Hi BryanStill struggling with headset issues, I can hear the FO through the headset and the cockpit sounds are coming through my speakers, but I am also getting the FA and all cabin throught the headset such as the passenger boarding sounds, is this correct. In the config I have my headset selected and in windows I have a volume for both my headset and the speakers, dont know what I am doing wrong maybe should just accept thatWayne

Is it the Capt flow or F/O flow once going from APU power to GEN1 or GEN2 power to turn the switch? I noticed the f/o does it going from Ground power to APU but nothing after.

Tonight while landing at KMSP on my second leg I had the aircraft configured a little early on the final approach phase. I had the gear down, spolier armed and called for flaps 30. I had the flaps at flaps 10 and then went right to 30. The f/o did this without a problem. I then called for the landing checklist. On the last item of that checklist dealing with the flaps,he challenged and I said, 30, green light. No response. I then said, set and got no response, I then said checked and got no response. I then said restart the checlist which he did. Same result when getting to flaps 30 challenge. Is there a hiccup if you call for flaps 30 and they get set before calling for …

I am interested in getting FS2Crew, because everyone is raving about it and say that it is a must have. I have no idea how it will help me.Due to work I however, I only manage to get 2 hours or so a month on the NGX, so in fact I'm still learning to fly it....slowly.The question is, should I learn to fly the NGX first and thenget the FS2Crew...or just dive straight in?Thanks

On landing, is the f/o supposed to be turning on the retractable landing lights as well or just the fixed ones?

Byork,first of all let me say "great job...!!" for the product....it works really well...I have completed a couple of flights so far and have just one minor issue to report: during Before Start Checklist the call for Fuel should be answered by, say, "..one five thousand pounds, pumps on.." , but there is no way I can have the FO move on with the other calls of the checklist if I answer that way. He just hangs....the only way to move forward is to say "Check"...Am I doing something wrong ? Is the answer syntax wrong ? Although I am not English mother language I don't have any problem with speech recognition for the rest of the voice commands.....Please let me know.Regards

All FA audio is heard through my main speakers, just as the FO during preflight (as it should be - assuming FA's don't wear headsets while in the cockpit). But, after I acknowledge the service delivered with 'Thanks', the FA audio "You bet ..." is only heard through my headset.Bryan, this minor nuance has been around for a while across multiple editions of FS2Crew. Would you please force the final piece of FA audio through the main cockpit sound, just like the rest of the FA conversation? Did my first flight in a month after buying fs2crew voice last night. When flying from ksfo to klga and about 200nm out after calling up the main panel the sky flashed multicolor and frames dropped from my usuall 25fps steady to steady at 5. I had to abort the flight. Alt entering did not make it come back. I popped up my EVGA and my GPU was maxed at 100 the whole time. It never gets above 60 under the most dire of circumstances. This never happened before fs2crew for this aircraft and it happened as soon as I popped up the main panel. Sucks to get 5 hours into a flight and then have to abort it before the best part.I don't even know where to start to figure this out but …

Hi Bryan.....SP1 did you include a fix for the FSpassengers issue?reason why i ask is i have again the same issue as before with fspassengers.I did the quick fix as you stated to get fspassengers working with fs2crew when i 1st purchased it and it was working fine with no probs at all. I have now downloaded and installed fs2crew with SP1 and again i get the same issue as before.I did do a complete reinstall of FS2crew SP1 instead of installing over the top of original so maybe this may be the problam of doing the quick fix agin. If this is the case bryan can you please send me the fix again when you have the time please.other than that any ideasthanksspeak soonDave

Someone clarify the SP1 change-log/instructions - I've always had the NGX Options setup so that when I, the PF/Captian, change the Altimeter setting/STD button on the Captians side, the Captain's standby altimeter and the FO's/PNF altimters settings are sync'd to my action. Is the SP1 change log telling me to reverse this setup so all altimeters are sync'd from the FO/PNF side? Why? I'm so confused, LOL.. :(

Is it just me, or are the "Swap Comms Channel 1 (2) innoperative? The FO acknowledges the command with "Check". But the freqs never swap windows.

Ok,I thought I had this sorted but, must be have a slight moment here at EGBB.I want to use GSX for the graphics and FS2C for the voice flow.I've ended up with both GSX and FS2C pushing me back.Is this possible or has it got to be either one or the other and not a combination of bothThanksClive
