Bryan. Quick question: If the Hot Fix/SP will be released this weekend, Will it be immediately included in the installer if purchased at that time?Unfortunately i have not been able to fly for the last three weeks due to major work being required by the Boss (Wife i.e. "Honey Do" list). I am just about done now, so getting ready to purchase, so if the above is the case i will wait the little while before purchase and get an all inclusive installer. Can't wait to try this out.Regards,

Hi,I'm about to push the button on this one, and have decided I will suffer the slings and arrows of my missus ripping it out of me for talking to my computer; will it work with a webcam built-in microphone, with the voice (FO's) routed to my sound output (as opposed to a headset)Cross-posted to the NGX forumbestjake

Hi!The only problem I have, is when I start the pushback. I set 100 meters (depends on where I am of course), but it only pushes a few meters before it stops, and then the ground crew tells me to set the parking brake.

Hi.I am one of the newbies to FS2Crew and would like to ask some of you more experienced guys some advice. My system incoporates a Logitech 5:1 surround system plugged into the sound card. When I plug my Saitek headphones into the top of the computer (not the front in my case), the microphone is recognised (and has allowed me to do the Windows voice training) and I get the engine/cockpit noise through the headphones. When attempting to use FS2Crew (Voice Control), I can just barely hear the FO talking. The voice volume seems to be very low. When I unplug the headphones, I get the same issue through my speakers - low voice volume.Which leads me onto the other issue I have.H…

Fantastic add-on for our loved NGX!However, I seem to have some issues (from the beginning):1. When we are going through the 'Before Start Checklist', a lot of elements are answered by 'Are you sure about that?' (i.e. Anticollision lights; they are actually on)2. I cannot contact ground for pushback. I used exactly the same method as shown in the updated manual (radio stack on Captain's side not the overhead as I was doing yesterday). The only he responds 'Go ahead' to is 'Ground from cockpit' (if I say 'Cockpit to ground' he doesn't respond), but then whichever of the pushback commands I use, nothing happens.3. Since the pushback didn't work, I ask the F/O to start engin…

Color me dense, maybe this is a dumb question. How do you get it to start? I click on "enable voice control" It tells me it is enabled I start FSX and click on the spot that starts the main panel. It tells me FSCrew started. But then it just sits there and says pre-flight I can give a voice command like "start again" and the FO responds OK. but nothing happens. I am using the start state Short. The plane is powered up but engines not running. I never see the timer. Any help would be appreciated. Jerry

As per the subject. You can see that I have a rather mid to old rig which has some memory issues with the NGX (in combination with other add-ons like ASE, EFB etc). Will I be able to do at least some flying or will I get OOMs all the time?I plan to upgrade (either Sandy or Ivy Bridge) quite soon. Still waiting for 'THE WIFE' to approve the relevant item in the annual bill :(

I can't get to the online manuals, the website reports that the server is unavailable. Can someone just check to see if they can get to it, or is it just my router playing up again.

Noticed after a really good flight today (yes...starting to get along very good me and the FO now :() when securing the a/c the FO never switched the EMER EXIT LIGHTS off but he still claimed they were OFF during the securing the a/c checklist. Was this a fault on my side or is it a known issue?

After I have started from cold and dark and pushed back...(done hundreds of times) When I throttle up nothing happens...the throttle quadrant moves but the engines just remain idle.I have followed the usual cold and dark flows and never had this before.I have done restarts to no avail. If I load a default a/c it works fineThis started after I installed and ran FS2CrewAny ideas please?RegardsPaul Humphries

Hi Bryan, some small issue need to fix:On cruise I tried some FO commands and I found that the "select auto throttle off / on" command is inverse. So if is off and you fire up something like "select auto throttle off" then my new friend turn the switch to the on position.Same vise versa.

Hi Bryan,After Runway Entry Procedure, I assume the captain would say "Takeoff" after both engines are stabilized at 40% N1 then pushing the TO/GA button.-- But would the RWY Turn Off lights be put on a little earlier than this ?-- I would of thought the Runway Turnoff Lights would be turned on in the Runway Entry Procedure Flow with the other external lights ??If not, then what is the Real Life meaning for the Runway Turn Off lights and are they normally used on ground whilst taxiing or only when the pilots are looking for a certain taxiway to turn into ?Also,At the Shutdown phase, the ground crew calls and says that the chocks are in and that I can release the brakes,I…

Part of the pre-flight PF flow is to set the parking brake but I always learned you shouldn't have the parking brake set while the chocks are in place which they normally are until short before pushback?I also noticed the FO switch the electrical hydraulic pumps on before pushback while I always learned you must not until after pushback and the towbar has been disconnected?

Hi all,at first, one of the greatest product that i´ve ever get for the fsx. Great Great Great. But aprut i´ve a problem:Everthing with this excellent tool works pretty good. No Problem no failure. But today I´ve bought the Expansion Pack 600/700 Series. And after installing i can´t talk to the groundcrew again :-(I don´t make any other things than before. I installed the SP1c for the 800/900 and Sp1c for the 600/700 again but with no result.I tried all tips from the manual, no result.I can see in the top my spoken words "cockpit to ground", but get no answer. The last days this fantastic product works soo nice and brings alot of fun and realism to the fs.Hope anyone can hel…

Just wanted to give some MAYBE useful information. By now everyone probably knows about the de-ice comms freq prompting the continuous "FLAPS UP" by the FO, and to avoid that channel. Well to my surprise, while preparing my flight from KLAX to KLAS I got the ole "FLAPS UP" loop from the FO again after requesting taxi clearance. Its seems KLAX uses 121.65 for their ground frequency. So remember, request whatever clearance you need, then switch off that frequency and continue with your flight prep at Los Angeles.

I had an initial prblem with my microphone and took a few days to get my act together and try this product.I've bought FS2Crew before and it was good then, too, but I think this one's the best.Bryan, you and the team have done an exemplary job, in my view.I've just completed a flight from Sydney (YSSY) to Tamworth (YSTW) and was blown away.I especially loved the cup of tea bought in by the Stewardess and my lunch as well. It's very intuitive and I found myself, very compfortable with it after only a short time.I really feel like this is the icing on the cake. I love my NGX and fly her nearly every night, I been doing so since she came out last year, but somehow there was t…

I am using the email link sent after my purchase to access the download server. I am only getting 23kb/sec download speed. Is there a problem with the server? 3.5 hours for a 260mb download in this day and age? My connection is fine as I am able to steam Netflix and Spotify with no issues.

Hi fellow FS2Crew captains!Just started to learn the FS2Crew NGX product I have two questions1. Looking at the configuration panel when selecting PWR/AIR SRC to EXT/AS eller EXT/AC you get three options for PB REQ, YES(-->), YES(<--) and blank. What exactly do these different options mean? I guess blank is the same as NO but what is the difference between the different YES values with an arrow to the right or left? Might mention that my main goal is to configure FS2Crew in the best possible way for using it together with Aerosoft AES and I always try to use procedures as close to RL procedures as possible so for instance I'm always using ground power and the air con…
