Voice Control Version

Hey Guys,I bought FS2Crew yesterday and I've been trying to get it running properly but I can't seem to.I click RUN PF at T+30 with ground power and air and the FO does his thing during the first few minutes.I was told that around T+24 he goes off for his walk around and comes back at aournd T+19, and during that time I can do the captains flows.Thing is I hear nothing at T+24 that indicates he goes for the walk around and comes back. I've also had a problem with talking to him, the green bar up the top shows the things I'm saying but the FO will ignore it.Any suggestions?

Damien posted this little bit. I cant find in the manual how you would notify the FO that a Bleed Off Departure is selected.Any pointers?regardsTrev

I couldn't find a specific appreciation thread, so decided to start one.I first found FS2CREW when I was frustrated with the high workload in the J41 when trying to fly a complex SID/STAR. Found myself with the Voice Control version for it and didn't fly another aircraft for months. When I get to the Before start proceedure the copilot always finds a door open he responses "we better check on this" he never returns so I am not moved to the before start checklist. I have gone to the doors and closed the door but still nothing happens.Any help is appreciated.Don Emerson

Hallo,first of all I´m sorry for my English, i´m from Germany.I´ve serious problem with my FS2Crew for the PMDG NGX. I installed the software as explained in the manual (after updating my PMDG NGX to SP1c). After that I enabled voice control ("SetPanelCfg_FSX.exe"), started the FSX, selected my PMDG 737 plane and suddenly my FSX crashed (see my problem signature below). And that happens every time after choosing any of the 737NGX planes. But when i disable voice control the plane loads without any problem. Enabling it again causes the same problem again. hi just installed ngx voice and made sure load 2d panel was selected in the fsx settings display, 2d panel starts to load but then the vc panel loads may having something to do with ezdoc, you metioned in another post that there was something that had to be turned off in ezdoc any help thank you jim

Using PMDG Tut2 as reference, as everyone has it!You start in cold and dark and then you connect ground services. then just before pushback you start APU and disconnect ground services.Its then an APU engine start during pushback.1. How would you set FScrew for this siuation.I have found that if you select APU start the FO starts the APU very early in his flow. Is there anyway you can control when he starts the APU.Also at what point in the tutorial would you press the 'start prefight' button in FScrew?regardsClive

I have a small issue with "on"....Every time the F/O reaches the part of the checklist where my answer is "on" I know that I will spend some good extra time trying to make my computer acknowledge. The speech recognition for some weird reason thinks I am saying "armed" or even "up". Only after a few tries and finally pronouncing "on" in the most funny way sometimes the F/O acknowledges. Otherwise when I get frustrated I just say "next", but don't like to do that.Now, I have a good experience with FS2CREW for J41 and I never had such problem. And just did three times the speech recognition training as well. My only problem is with "on"... for crying out loud... Any ideas?

Tried my luck by setting the panel switcher today. Has a few problems. When I right click FA I get the correct view and a "hello"when I right click cfg I get the Cfg panel not the correct view.Has any one else tried setting up the config file for the panel switcher?Cheers,Don

I realize this is probably not an FS2 issue, however, anyone who may have a solution to this issue please give me some feedback. I have tried numerous clean uninstalls/reinstalls, numerous liveries (including stock PMDG), numerous airports, different panel startup states, etc. I can take a very sucessful flight with FS2 and have a beautiful flight all the way to the destination gate. Ask ground to connect GPU/AS, get approval to shutdown eng. 1, mouse click the shutoff lever, lever moves but, eng 1 does not shutdown. Engine and spar valve lights are blue for both engines. Eng 2 is off. Even if I shift to a cold and dark panel state at the gate eng 1 continues to run. This…

As the title says its a weird reply to " Runway Entry Procedure". It reply's " Clear on the approach" and then "Check". I follow the flows and checklists . It doesn't happen every time either. Anyone else have this? I can live with it but just wondering.

Hi everyone.I was practising a missed approach last night and I was unsure of how FS2Crew should react?On approach I called 'Cleared'Then I tried to call 'Go Around' (instead of 'Landing') which did not work then I called 'Abort, Abort'What should my FO do in this case? Retract gear, reduce flaps, set TOGA?Any ideas how to perform a missed approach with FS2Crew correctly would be a great help :)Many thanks

Hi BryanI've noticed that during the preflight tests the FO does not give any warning before carrying out a fire test. When you have an engine running like the APU, in a multi crew flight deck, its nice to know the fire bell is only a test and not a real fire warning. We used to say "Noises" or "Fire Test" in my RW flying daysGlen

I must start carrying a stick when I fly so I can hit my FO over the knuckles when he changes my CDU setting :Phbbbt:I normally set my CDU on the 'Take Off' page before taxi, only to find my FO has changes it back to the 'NGX Menu' page ?? I ,m thinking of getting Fscrew voice for the NGX, and have never used a Fscrew product. One question does it have to be used every flight or can you just manually start the program when you want it? Sometimes I just want to do a quick flight.Thanks,Tom

Not a big deal but :I noticed that when I say "SELECT SEATBELTS OFF" FO selects the "AUTO" positionIf I say "SELECT SEATBELTS AUTO" FO selects the "OFF" positionThe "ON" position order is ok.Sorry if this has already been reported but it seems that the forum search function is replaced by the Google (more and more intrusive IMO) search. Hello Brian,I have several "button" versions of FS2Crew, 747, 767, MD11, JS41 and now the NGX.After hesitating to try the "voice" version, thinking it would be complicated with pronunciation problems, I decided to try it.So, I regret to have waited so long... The voice version is a great and amazing program/addon !I know now I'll can buy the Maddog version without rear thought ;-)Thanks a lot to people who IMO are still making good products in a craftsmen spirit (FS2Crew, PMDG, AES, GSX, Aerosoft and so on ...!Best Regards,Richard Portier

Good day,I use the superb FS2crew pack for the NGX but i've just seen a video of the 767 product and i felt confused... especially when i see that in the FS2Crew 767 we could do things like "Are you ready for the departure briefing" tell anything and finish by "any question". ( I tried that but seems to don't work in the NGX)It is disappointing not to be able to do that with a newer product instead of pushing a briefing button. It's the same for cabin announcement (Welcome, Delay, Return to gate, cruise, etc,etc..).Are there any plan to improve those systems like start with "Ladies and gentlemen" and finish by "I wish you a good flight" ?FS2Crew NGX is really a Must Have …

Hi,I haven't seen this reported before, but if I missed it please excuse me.Myself and some other people have talked to have problems with the FO going crazy when setting things on the MCP. For instance, calling "set altitude 7000" has him changing the altitude all the way up to 40,000. Similarly, saying "set course on my side 218" made him indefinitely turn the course knob. In any of the cases it never slowed down around the correct point before it stopped. It just continued to turn at the same high speed.This was especially irritating as it may be less approach unusable in very foggy weather.
