When calling the MCP check on the preflight checklist , the F/O does not confirm the correct heading ie if heading set to 269 . F/O calls some random heading that doesn't correspond.with what has been set. I trust this hasn't been raised previously , I did check.

  2. I got a feature Request. is it possible adding in the Product that during the Decent briefing or approach checklist (whenever is best suited), the FO would read my approach RW / Approach method set in the FMC (e.g. ILS/RNAV/NDB/VORDME,etc), or even based on the Briefing it self, whatever is easier. and reference the details with the AIRAC Installed or the AFCAD (whatever works best) and set the Radio/course for the ILS,RNAV,etc? this could be done as an optional with the "Secondary command" (like the Push back options), hence one can use it or not to his discretion. in away the same way in PMDG747-400 , if I would pick an ILS RW26 in the FMC (DEP/APP) for an examp…

Hi Bryan, I would like to ask you a question. I noticed around T+18 we are asked for boarding and there is no way to hold it. Even if we don't answer the boarding sound is triggered. And we can say YES for boarding whereas the boarding has already begun by the sound My question do you think it could be possible in a near futur to hold boarding by saying I'll keep you informed ... or anything else and then "Yes" could trigger the boarding sound ?..

I've been doing some flying with the folks over on the digitalthemepark teamspeak server. We're using an FS Multiplayer server which digitalthemepark is hosting. For those that aren't familiar with it, it's accessed via the old gamespy interfaces although we don't connect to gamespy, we do a direct connection to a couple of servers which they host. The problem is that I can't use FS2Crew when connected to the server. I get an SDK initialization error. Just wondering if anyone has gotten it to work with the FS Multiplayer servers or if there is a problem with my install. FS2Crew works fine in free-flight and via VATSIM but whenever I connect to FS Multiplayer it g…

I find it very unnatural to have the FO set the frequency directly into the active slot, on the call, vice the preset. I like to keep an orderly progression of frequencies, preset in anticipation, and flip them as required. Any chance this could be changed, or offered as an option? Even if the frequency ended up in the primary/active slot, it should have been loaded in the preset, and then the frequencies flipped. Perhaps a different verbage for that. * Orest

Am I the only one who is guilty of sometimes responding to checklists without actually confirming visually that things are as they should be? What I mean is that if you "know" the AI FO is always going to have it all set up properly you get lazy and just say what you're supposed to instead of really checking, I know I'm gulilty of this too much. Would it be possible to have something in a config flie where you could make the FO more human-like (prone to mistakes)? I think that could make an already excellent experience even more immersive. I seem to be having a little problem with this sound card and Bryan has said that the latest driver should be removed and replaced by what was on the original CD. I haven't got it unfortunately as it was originally for XP 32 and I now have W7 64bit and I downloaded the latest driver when I put W7 on. Does anyone have an original driver for my system or alternatively know where I can get it. It does not seem to be available on the Creative site.

  12. And its not what you think, its not FS2Crew but rather my involvement with the sim. I really enjoy setting up the panels, flipping switches, etc. and making sure its all set up correct. I feel like with FS2Crew I am out of the loop and probably will forget everything....actually I wonder how the Captain remembers all the flows when the FO is doing most of the setup work. I have invested in a throttle quad and like to operate the flaps etc. Again, no issue with FS2Crew and I realize this is how line pilots work, I love going through the checklists and doing the confirmations by voice but just saying that I miss some of the stuff I was doing before. If any of you hav…

  13. Hey guys, sorry if it's been asked before... I have looked around but not found it... Bought FS2Crew yesterday, did a testflight, and loved every minute of it but still got lots to learn :) I'm using GSX too, and have a question for pushback. I know there is currently no integration between GSX and FS2Crew, that we have to wait for the GSX API. But for now, in the FS2Crew Config Tab, do I need to set Pushback required to yes or no ? Does it make any difference, or is it only important if I would be using the FS2Crew pushback system ? Thanks for replying. TJ

  14. As the title says, the FO starts immediately after Takeoff his "positive rate" call. Even before any positive rate is shown on the displays. Maybe something for a next update.

Hello. I've been a user of your programs for years. This is the first problem of this kind I've encountered. I can run with no problems PMDG 737 NGX until I use the FS2Crew Config Manager to install either the Voice or Button panel. After running the Config Manager and installing either the Voice or Button panel (with confirmation of the install) and then running (starting) FSX and starting one of the PMDG 737 flight models from the "free flight" menu, after some churning the entire FSX "free flight" menu "grays out" and locks then produces an "extreme error..." message. Sometimes in order to kill FSX (task manager won't work), I have to restart Windows. If I restar…

All of a sudden the FS2 main panel doesn't appear after the left click of the hot spot. It is there because you can grab it and move it with the mouse but it is not visible. I have reinstalled both 737NGX and FS2 Crew but still have the same problem. I reinstalled the first time because fs2crew could not find the SDK and up to then the main panel did appear (I did have SP1c installed). Now I no longer get the message that SP1c is not installed, voice recognition starts and works but the main panel is hidden but is clearly there but not visible. Can you advise. All installation were done with admin access and UAC is turned off. I start with 2d Instrument panel and ha…

I’m struggling to get fs2crew to play on my headset with all other sounds coming from the normal speakers. I’m using a simple headset with boom mic with two plugs, one for the mic and one for the speakers. Setup is as follows: Win 7 64 Creatice SB X-Fi sound card Realtek HD Audio integrated on motherboard All drivers are up to date and I have a fresh install of FSX with PMDG and FS2Crew. I can set up the headset within in windows sound panel and the Realtek panel, both show the mic working and sound comes out of the headset when I click on the test button. The mic works fine but I am not able to get the crew sounds on the headset. I have selected “Realtek …

Hi I have never had any problems with the NGX version of FS2Crew, if I give the FO any commands he acts upon then spot on. However today I thought I would try Radar Contact again (haven't used it for months), all worked very well until I asked for an MCP Speed. The selection kept running away in both directions, I had to keep using the "Cancel Last Command" option. I checked the Speech log and I was saying the correct commands, also I can confirm Radar Contact wasn't talking at the time so there was no chance my mic was picking anything up other than my voice. Just wondering if there is a conflict with Radar Contact or is it just me ? Glen

strange thing this morning. I was ready for push back and taxi at KMEM. The only ATC was ground. So I called for pushback. several times he responded by text saying he could hear me but I could not hear him. After the flight I looked for another controller and LAX was up so I placed the 737 at KLAX called the center and ask for a radio check. I saw the yellow response light up but no sound. This all happened before loading version 1.2. Everything had been working great until today. Can any of the CFG sound settings in SF2CREW effect my ability to hear radio responses? Any help is appreciated, Cheers, Don

Due to a glitch somewhere in the operating system which is making computer start-up a hit and miss affair a total reinstall is envisaged in the next few days. Is there anything I can back up with regard to speech recognition so that I do not have to go through the whole training process again.

Just setting up the voice edition, things seem to be working ok from what I can tell. One question on starting in 2D. I have selected 2D as instructed and when FSX starts, it does show the 2D cockpit (albeit somewhat mangled, don't know why). After about 2 seconds it switches over to the VC on its own and then completes the count down. Any ideas as to why it is doing this and if this will have an impact on FS2Crew ?

Well this might not be a FS2CREW issue but i have had 2 flights now online on VATSIM with ASE,EFB,SB4 and offcause this brilliant piece of work but had 2 "lost" connections with the microphone meaning i had to disconnect SB4,FS2CREW and the microphone in windows and then re-enable these again . I suspect Simconnect to be involved as i also did lose my ASE connection on a remote PC. (close ASE program and started it up again do the trick) So is FS2CREW using Simconnect and why does this program sometimes set the microphone-level back to +10db (instead of 30 or 50db) Any ideers of overcoming these issues ? Thanks Michael
