I seem to have a minor issue. Scenario: prior to T/D, set pwr/src to APU/Ext, arrive at gate, "shut down engine number 2", "cockpit to ground", "please connect the GPU now". Nothing. To get ground to connect I have to speak, "please connect the gpu now please". 'Please' must be stated before AND after? Sounds like I'm begging, lol. Is this correct? Thanks.

So we're all agreed (I am anyway) that FS2Crew for the NGX is probably the best add-on you could have for FSX. Now as realism is what we are all after all the time, let's consider what happens in the real world. When an aircraft has departed and reached cruise, the workload reduces for a time. But do the two pilots sit there in total silence, ignoring each other? Probably not, more than likely they indulge in a bit of social chit-chat such as "what did you do this weekend?" "how's your wife, is she out of hospital yet?" "did you see that programme the other night?" etc, etc. So here's the challenge for you Bryan. Come up with an add-on giving all sorts of conversa…

Hello Firstly I love FS2Crew... I had it on the NGX for a while and decided I have to have it on the Level-D 767 version as well :) After installing the level-d however the NGX keeps turning the IAS and ALT knobs (not sure if this is related to the new install). All other commands I tried work well. This is the log (command is properly recognized) Sim Clock (02:06:22) - Captain: set speed one three zero Sim Clock (02:06:35) - Captain: cancel last command Sim Clock (02:06:43) - Captain: set speed one three zero Sim Clock (02:06:56) - Captain: cancel last command Sim Clock (02:07:13) - Captain: set heading zero eight zero Any hints? Thanks So…

Just about got to grips with the flows with config panel setting on APU now. Reading that some airports don’t like aircraft running APU for too long and that it does ultimately burn fuel I thought I would try External Power with the Air Conditioning Cart (EXT/AC.) I understand the bit when the pilot flying is responsible for starting the APU and is responsible for disconnecting external power. I am lost with other parts of the flow and who does what, bleed air / packs etc Could anyone highlight the key differences in the flows between the two? Thanks for your time. Paul.

Hi, I am getting the SDK error on trying to start the voice edition, I have followed all the advice I can find (re installed SP1C, Trike at Start up, Starting in 2d) but nothing seems to correct it. This has only started since installing version 1.3 today (It worked on initial version and 1.1, cannot remember trying 1.2) I have seen a comment from the developer saying its a simconnect issue and there is nothing he can do. Is there any more advice to try? Gary Dillon

Sry. for my bad english ;) I have a problem with talking to the ground-crew..they not answer. When I start PMDG737 with running engines and I start the voice controll using the Preflight checklist, then they dont answer on "Cockpit to ground". All settings in panel I do manually before not start the voice procedure via the "CFG" panel..."RUN PF". I directly start with the Preflight checklist....

I am fairly new to the FSX community and have recently purchased several add-ons, the most recent being FS2Crew. I believe I have followed all of the installation procedures properly... Run as admin, Start in 2D cockpit, Re-install PMDG sp?, etc... I am able to bring up the panel when I click on the backup attitude indicator. The buttons seem to function as well. EXCEPT, the voice button shows ON and if I click on it FSX freezes at the mouse pointer that looks like a hand with finger extended and the task must be killed. I have a Sirius twin-USB headset with mic which seems to have been trained fine in Win 7 x 64. This is a new system i7 etc. Lastly, I am…

Hi all, I've been all over the net looking for a good headset microphone without headphones attached and I have only been able to find one. I bought it and the mic works fine but the headset structure is flimsy and after only 1 month it's already broken. So anyway - if anyone knows where I can get a good Headset Mic without the headphones attached I would appreciate a website. Thnx Richard

Byork, I have noticed that the FO "glide slope alive" call occurs some time after G/S has been captured and the aircraft is stable on ILS and not when the g/s magenta diamond becomes visible on the ND, which should be the right time for the call. Is that a bug ? Thanks Regards

Hey Bryan, I'm a experienced and usually very happy FS2Crew owner/user. But I experienced two particular problems in my flights with the NGX and the voice copilot. And I would like to know if they occure due to false use or if they are bugs. 1. After the update I have a problem to trigger the preflight checklist. I can see that the speech recognition get "preflight checklist", but nothing happens. I does only work after switching one step forward and one step back to the preflight checklist. I never had issues with this before the update. 2. In the landing checklist, there is the point "landing flaps" (I don't remember the exact words of the FO by now), I res…

I have reinstalled wonderful FS2Crew a couple of times. An earlier problem has gone away, which is nice: APU now starts up okay as specified on the CFG panel. But on takeoff, the PMDG call still invenes at V1, rather than thre FO, who nevertheless goes on to make the VR and V2 calls just fine. The PMDG simulation panel definitely has the NGX calls switched OFF. Has anyone seen and solved the same issue? Many thanks. David

Hi Byork! I am more and more love your product! After some flights i realy enjoy and going to max realism in cocpit- I turn off main panel and trying to manage bymyself! Its great sense! Some quostions to you man: 0. Is more realism futures planned? My wishes: 1. Turning off main panel ( as I am), pilot need to only one thing- to see that program modes changed to next procedure . It is possible- to make any sound notify ( short beep or some one else) ( option managed from FS2Crewdata.ini file) ? 2. Need some more collouts in take off - before 60 knots- dialogue example- Cap-- Taking Off, Start time, check engine stable FO- engine stable Cap - TO GA ,chec…

Just starting out with the program. Like any other voice recognition/command facility, the trigger phrases can have subtle differences in them, and if not said quite correctly, they won't work. Getting a drink/coffee, although a trivial example, is a good one. Sure, once you've used it a few times, you get it, but this is an FS2Crew newbie request. In addition, some seldom used commmands, may need a quick look at the docs. Is there any way to have a voice command that will trigger a listing (by voice or on the screen) of possible, or at least common possible commands that the program is waiting for? In particular in a checklist, there is usually only one correct p…

Can anyone tell me please how you change your co-pilot from saying 29.92 to 1013. I mostly fly around EU so this would be better for me. Thanks in advance Mark Chapman

Hi Brian, Sry for the hassle but I'm a bit lost. I the flow is stated and I quote: "Gyro caging control -‐ pull, then release". What exactly do I have to do and where on the panel? I can't seem to figure this out. Much appreciated. Regards...Marc

At last I managed to find a suitable headset, a Plantronics Blackwire C210 single earpiece type, which is fine for me as I need to hear the speakers. The mic on this headset is excellent - I listened to it through my speakers as a test and it is very clear. Now I've just got to learn all the responses to get smooth flying. At present I need to keep referring to the flow sheets for the correct response. One thing I have found is that very occasionally the FO doesn't hear me. I think this may be due to my having the speakers fairly loud trying to simulate a RL 737 cockpit. I'll try turning them down and see if that helps. This definitely is better than the butto…

I noticed something funny yesterday: The course on the MCP at the FO's side was 352. I asked the FO the following "Set course on your side 000". The FO started turning the course to 000 (clockwise), but then...continued by turning the course to 90, 180, 270 and 000 again (it did one full turn). So it did more than required. Is there someone (like Bryan) that can confirm this?

I seem to have problems in getting the FO to respond to start checklists. PF works fine and the FO sets up everyhting as expected but then at t+11 I call preflight checklist and nothing happens. FO happily closes doors and obeys other commands but I can't get him to start any checklist. The voice recognition shows the words correctly recognised. What am I doing wrong. Peter Rowan

Like the title says this isn't really a bug but it IS something that is not realistic. I kept forgetting to mention it. In all my voice versions that I have (and I think I have all of them) none of them will accept "set heading 360". They will only accept "set heading 000". Pretty sure it should be 360. Fyi -Rick

Hi let me just say this is my first time buying fs2crew product this is my first time . I saw all those kool things that you can do in the pmdg 737ngx . Let me also say what a wonderful job you guys did with this . I have been searching for experience like this to live in simulator . But i haven't had the chance to enjoy this product as others have . My problem is base on that when i land the 737ngx some times it crashes when i call out different commands for example : clean up or the shutdown checklist or when am at the gate . Also i thought with this product it was impossible to tell the FO to turn heading to certain heading or speed , altitude etc... But chatting to…

During takeoff I like to control the vertical profile myself, i.e. when to set climb power and start the flap cleanup stage, so I takeoff with the VNAV off. So my normal setup is Autothrittle On, VNAV Off, LNAV Armed, the FMS cleanup and Power reduction setting remain at default 1500ft AGL. During initial climb at 1500 AGL I am about to say "Set Climb Thrust" when the engine settings change to Climb automatically. What is causing this as I only thought the auto climb power reduction would only occur with the VNAV engaged ? Glen

Hi. Here is another one request from me )) "Clear" ( in before taxi checklist) and "Cleared" in final. This words are pronunce near the same. Program cant recognised this differensies clearly. I tryed to learn recognition soft ( add new words and so on) but- only one of 2 variants is stabil for recognition... (I love English language and having not bad pronunciation.) Therefore, need to add new variants in "Cleared" - I think- Cleared to land"- will be best of it. +Sometimes i have non-stoping circling in HEADING or Course . Cancel last- its not the best way... + set vref + 5 - speed going down under correct Vref speed set in FMS and as indicated on display…
