Voice Control Version

Hey, So it's the first time I'm using FS2Crew and everything goes smoothly until the time where I contact the ground crew. First, the ground crew only responds with the "ground from cockpit" command, not the "cockpit to ground" one. After the "Go ahead" response, I give the command of "We are ready for pushback and engine start" or any other, and they just don't respond back. Also, when I tell the F/O to start the engines, he tells me that "we’re not configured for engine start". I really like this addon and I wish I can resolve it

I understand how to assign the different aircraft views within the cfg and how to right click the button 1-7 on the Panel View Switcher. However,my question is in relation to how do you come out of the Panel View Switcher and come back into the captain's seat as per the normal view. I have Ezdok cameras assigned. I apologise if the answer is obvious. Michael

Hi All, I bought the above today and I've not been able to update it, I bought it from PMDG's website and I can't register it with FS2Crew's website to get updates. Can anyone help? When I load FS2Crew in FSX it says to come on these forums also.

Hi. Is it at all possible to disable the default keys for soft mute? I have my soft mute key set via "Prop-Sync" and that is all I need. But when I change views with Ezca or Opus live cam,I get soft mute active and this makes it a little awkward to reply smartly as I have to wait for the new view to stabilize before responding. Many of my views begin with the Ctrl key and short of re doing all my cameras I thought I would ask here first. Thanks. Dennis

Hei Bryan, I experience the following during the Preflight- and Approach Checklist. During the items of verifying the altimeter settings, the FO replies/challenges always 1 hPa to little. Preflight: Lets say the QNH is 1024 hPa set at all altimeters. After I read the setting, the FO replies 1023 hPa. The voice recognition gets the right number, which is visible in the green text window. Same for the approach checklist. The FO challenges a QNH with an offset of 1 hPa. So if the QNH is 1009, set on all altimeters, the FO challenges me with "Altimeters 1008". Any Idea what could cause this?

I bought the 737 NGX 600/700 expansion pack, and I also have bought FS2Crew for my NGX. I loaded up my 737-600 NG and then turned on FS2Crew. It said that there was an SDK error and to contact the FS2Crew Support. I read a different topic on this forum and they said to be sure that FSX loads 2D first and that you have SP1c installed. I have both of these, my voice control is at V1.5, and I tried reinstalling the SP1c. I reinstalled SP1c, and it still does it. I'm sure FS2Crew works for the 600/700, right? Any ideas? Nathan3219

Hi Byork, i have a small request if an update is planned : the politeness for the F/O! My FO do the minimum, i must finish its job! at the end of the flight, he never turned the cab/util, IFE pass seat, as logo light and main panel light, ok, it's not in normal procedure, but it is a minimum for the relief crew! without counting it does not stop touching my altimeter inflight, to believe that he would take my place!! And the ultimate, he sent a letter to the company to get me fired because I speak really bad English!!! It can not go on, do something please!! :-)

Hi. FS2CREW has been great, can't imagine flying much without it. However, I am starting to have more FS Crashes. Thankfully the crashes happen at the best possible time arrival into my destination. The crash happens usually right after engine shutdown. Gate Arrival or None-gate arrival it has happened both times and has happened in about 4 out of the last 8 flights. The error I get is a box that says: "The exception unknown software exception (000.....) occured in the application at location 0x73858aa0." Any ideas why this happens? It happens at all types of airports and weather and times. A lot of AI, little AI, night and clear day and cloudy etc.. Windows 7…

Hello all, I have a problem with my FS2Crew. Since I've changed my microphone my FS2Crew is now recognising the Vatsim radio calls as voice inputs by myself. This is really strange because I'm having VATSIM on a headset and it should absolutly not be hearable by the microphone. Can you tell me how to solve this problem? Thanks Emi

I have a question about my newly purchased fs2crew captain edition voice version for 737ngx (fsx): After completing the flight I ask FO to "secure the aircraft" he runs the flow then I ask for "securing aircraft cheklist" and he reads it. After that the tutorial manual says that if I like I can start a new flight by pressing the "run PF" button in cfg menu. But if I do that nothing happens, the FO does say the "lets get ready for next sector..." or something like that but he does not start flipping switches and there is no fire bell etc. If I want it to work I have to first re-load a "cold and dark" panel via FMC and then press the "run PF" button. Why is this? …

After the nice Emergency product, I have another wish. I don't know if it easy. I have downloaded one free app called B 737 check List for IOS device. It could be nice to create something similar but more advance for FS2crew checklist. You dive on single phase checklist with all option reperad in advance of what to say then move to the next step. It should be more interactive and with field to insert proper value like weight& balance airplane configuration ecc. On the same phase you can find all the option of voice action that active all fs2crew option like for ground crew. Hi, I just switched from the button controlled version to the voice version and must say that it is a complete new experience for me flying the NGX. Of course these new feelings are a lot better than just pressing some buttons to communicate with your FO. But I have got a small problem that I am not able to fix at the moment. Normally I am running my Win 7 64 in the German language settings and for the speech recognition I installed the English language pack. I changed the language in Windows and the English speech recognition works fine. Everything works fine within FSX and FS2Crew. I can make a perfect flight with the use of FSPassengers without any problems. B…

With the help of Baikal, I was able to reduce the size of the main panel. Does anyone know how to get it to default to the top right side of the screen. I have it at about 80% and was able to get it to the top of the screen (by changing the position from 3 to 1) just not the top right. I was doing a flight to OEJN this afternoon where the transition level is at FL150. So passing FL150 in descent, I set the local QNH on the altimeter. I've noticed that when passing 10 000 ft in descent in this case, that the FO was saying "FL100 procedure". Bryan do you confirm that it shouldn't be "10 000ft procedure" in the FO's dialog if TL is above FL100 ?

Hi Folk's I am out on an very strange Problem. After a long time pausing with the FSX and FS2Crew, I started the system up again. Loaded the newest version of FS2Crew and installed it. For the very first time I got the SDK-Error, and could solve it with reinstall FS2Crew and SP1c from PMDG. So far so good. But now, my commands are no longer recognized by FS2Crew. No green bar. Mute is off (no blinking M). Checked the Microfon itself with Windows Voicerecorder, and it worked. So the Hardware seems not to be the Problem. Any ideas where I can look after ? Let's post this in the correct forum this time. :-) I know you're tied up with the new NGX Emergency you're developing but I have a little update request for in the future with the voice NGX. Most of the time I start my flight cold and dark. I choose ground power and air conditioning for the FS2C setup. All is good. About 10 minutes before pushback I fire up the APU for engine starting. As it stands now I have to manually disconnect the GPU/AC after putting the APU on the bus/bleed. Maybe a "disconnect ground hookups" option to do it automatically? Just an idea. My question is if Fs2Crew 737 NGX Voice Control and Emergency NGX are only compatible with the PMDG 737-800/900 basepack or also with the 737-600/700 Expansion Pack. I was considering to buy the expansion pack, but only if it's compatible with Fs2Crew. Thank you! Max

Hi,I just bought fs2crew and installed it. When I start up FSX and click on the area to open up the fs2crew panel it says SDK error and a voice stating it failed to initialise the SDK.I have tried everything stated on this forum and nothing seems to work. Can anyone please help?

Hi After updating my system when I run FS2Crew I am no longer hearing anything plus the system is not detecting my voice? I have configured the audio devices and have tested my headset with microphone and all works within Windows (7) If I select speakers I can get the brief to run however still no joy with voice? I have the latest download have reinstalled SP1C and the Config Manager is at V1.3 I have run out of options, please help!

I just got FS2Crew for the PMDG 737NGX and the first thing it says in the manual is to set up FSX to start in 2D Mode. I can not do this because I am using Eyefinity Wide Screen and you get the JUMPING cursor problem in planes with a 2D Cockpit. Does FS2Crew need to start in 2D?? If so...does anyone know how to get the PMDG to work with 2D Cockpits without getting the jumping cursor?
