Help! Hi, I have been using the fs2crew on my pmdg perfectly for a long time. My VA have recently changed their setup and we now fly with kACARS and we also fly using fsconnect. Since installing kACARS, fsuipc and pilot assistant I have had a plethora of issues, most of which have now been sorted but one remains.... In fsconnect sessions I use the CAPSLock key as my transmit key (fsx default) and before all the changes I assigned CAPSLOCK to prop sync on/off to give me the soft mute functionality while I transmit. This stopped working, so I went back into key assignments and noticed that CAPSLOCK was assigned to Transmit, but not propsync on/off, so I …

Hi Bry, thought I'd poke my head in here for a moment. * Currently : "Cabin Crew, Doors May be Opened" - which of course leads to Door 1 L. Any chance we can extend the Door Voice Command prompt in such a way as to get cabin crew to open specifically: * Door 1 (ie L Front) > Air Stairs/Airbridge > Passengers, Cabin Crew, Gate Staff, etc * Door 2 (ie L Rear) > Air Stairs > Passengers, Ground Crew, Maintenance Crew, etc * Door 3 (ie Front R) > Maintenance Crews, etc * Door 4 (ie Rear R) > Maintenance Crews, etc * New prompt: "Cabin Crew - Open Door 1 & Door 2" Just food for thought for those of us with GSX (not sure about AES…

Bryan, I'm a bit curious to know; did a voice command phrase such as "Select Logo Light <on/off>" not get included becuase it was not available in the PMDG SDK? Or, was it a FS2Crew issue? If a variation of the command already exists, I've never been able to figure it out. Thanks for your insight.

I know this has been talked about alot but I keep getting an sdk error message when I start fs2crew. Does anybody know how to fix this? I have tried alot of different solutions that I read from the other topics but they still don't help. PLEASE HELP!

Hello everyone. It seems as though I lost the ability to activate the main FS2Crew panel while in the virtual cockpit. It works fine in the 2D panel however. The plane is loading with the 2D panel first but when I switch to the 3D panel the hotspot seems to dissappear. It was working before I installed the 737/600 addon for my NGX. Any ideas?

Hi, I am fairly new to this forum so apologies if I ask questions that have already been answered. I currently run FSX with Active Sky 2012, ezdok, and fs2crew. I recently updated to fs2crew 1.5 and I am receiving an "SDK failed to initialise" but only when trying to join my Airlines LAN network. It works fine in freeflight. I have tried all of the following soloutions. 1: Reinstalled SP1C for the PMDG 737 NGX then reinstalling fs2crew 2: Reinstalled the whole 737-800/900 package then reinstalling fs2crew 3: Tried loading a stock aircraft first then global disabling ezdok and reloading pmdg and initialising fs2crew 4: All the other suggestions that…

Hi, A few months ago I posted a forum post regarding questions about the NGX Voice control version. I have just bought it and am loving it. B) But when I call for the FA or make a PA to the passengers, my FSX freezes for about ten to fifteen seconds and then resumes. Note, this only happens whilst airborne. At first I thought it was a general Error with FSX, so I did a clean re install of FSX and all my addons including squawk box for Online ATC. However, still the problem still persists. It also didn't crash before Installed FS2 Crew and when I read out the checklists it is fine. I was wondering if anyone has had this problem before and if so how they tackled it…

Firstly, this is an absolutely fantastic add-on, although, it has been extremely frustrating in parts to which I just find myself screaming at the computer! My issues: SDK Error - I get it occasionally. I'm now in the process of reinstalling from the "My Account" download. Reinstalling the programme and the SP from PMDG also Ground Crew - By following the manual, I have not been able to contact groud crew, be it regarding deicing or pushback and start. Ive followed the manual and tutorial (Which conflict with eachother, both give different switch & volume positions). I constantly get bad starts. when first installed it did a good start but only lasted about thrice now it always has a bad start. N2 = 22-25 engine fuel lever engaged then FF starts everything is normal but no VIB so then I shut down and start the engines myself I get two good starts, or if I startup myself after GRND CREW "You are free to start engines" I get two good starts. I wish I could fix this because it is the only blip in the entire sequence from "PREFLIGHT to SECURING AIRCRAFT" Colin

Hi, Great product. Just starting to get my teeth into it, having a few voice recognition problems but still working on it. Something occurred to me when reading the NGX forum. It would be great if the FO would start the Chrono as part of their runway entry or takeoff flow. This is how many crews record their flight time. Not that it's a company procedure, but I've heard that's what many crews do.

When I try to set MCP speed and atl the program listens correctly in that the green text says what I am saying. But the knobs just go crazy and land on some random number.

Using v1.5 Voice. Strange thing happening the last couple of weeks where clicking the usual spot in VC gets no reaction. In fact the mouse cursor doesn't even change to a hand. If I go to 2D panel I can launch FS2Crew but I must remember to lock the panel before moving to the VC or else it disappears. Any ideas as to cause, please? This is no big deal as I can use FS2C but I'd like to know what's going on. Thanks. Iain Smith

Hi, During "Before Start Checklist" my FO consequently rushes from checklist item CDU Preflight to the next Rudder and Aileron Trim without pause. This has been going on for a week now, it did not start after the last update but some while after. Besides this little quirk my FS2Crew works like a swiss clock. I have also been using EZDok and OpusFSX alongside appearantly without problems before this phenomena started. regards

Bryan, In anticipation of Emergency NGX I've been practicing some failures. I've noticed that currently when I ask the FO to set the GPWS flap inhibit switch to inhibit, he responds and moves the safety cover on the switch but doesn't actually switch the proper switch on...should he do this? On a related note - does anyone know what actions in the QRH are memory items? For the life of me I can't see any symbols or guidelines on which actions are memory items and which are not. Hello, I have a problem with my first officer. Since I reinstall my OS and FSX the first officer is not doing anything anylonger. I have the NGX SP1c installed (Also reinstalled SP1c as instructed in the manual) and try using FS2Crew NGX Voice V1.5. I can open the FS2Crew control panel in the sim, but if I click the start preflight button he won't do anything. I believe he should turn on the battery, connect ground power/apu and so on as he did hundrets of times already. Also FS2Crew doesn't recognize any voice commands anylonger. Turning my windows to the english language doesn't help either or am I doing something wrong? This is my setting: Can anyone help me…

Hi guys, I'm running voice control version 1.5 in P3D with the 737NGX, win8 64bit. Everything works fine during the first phase of the flight, pre-flight, start-up, taxi, takeoff, and climb is perfect. However, some time during the cruise phase the copilot usually stops recognising/hearing what I say. There is no green text on the top of the screen, and no command is executed. I can get out of this by toggling fs2crew off and on using the left most of the four main buttons on the fs2crew panel. When toggling off the flight simulator usually hangs between five and 30 seconds before I get a green message saying it has been disabled. Turning it on again works without…

I can't find it in the manual. Is it possible to start the engines with an Air Start Unit without pushback (because I am nose out, or because I'm using GSX) ? If yes, what is the correct procedure ? I found in the manual that I can do a start at gate then use FS2Crew pushback and start the other engine with increased thrust on the started engine.

I've just got back into the FS2Crew NGX version - and really having fun. However, a couple of possible additions occur to me: 1) A 'Cycle Flight Directors' command - to be used on an approach when you want to clear the FD&FMA but regain FD modes for a possible go-around. At the moment we have to command the FD off and then back on again - sounds a bit unnatural. 2) An option to call 'Visual' on an instrument approach. Calling visual would make the FO ignore the minimums callout and possibly say something like 'confirmed runway ahead'.
