Voice Control Version

I just got a new computer, and I am re-installing everything. I have installed my FS2Crew voice edition for the 737 NGX. But, when I start a flight, the FO does not complete the electrical setup. I do not get the FMC to start and the APU doesn't start. This is weird, because I didn't have these problems with the old computer when I installed everything.

It appears that he isn't completing the electrical setup. What do I do?

I've been using System Mechanic for years and think that it's a great program. However, I've fallen victim to the registry issue that makes it impossible to initialize the voice version of FS2Crew. There is just no way I want to go to the trouble of reinstalling Windows and I have no interest in using the button version of the program so I'm out of luck. I have not contacted the System Mechanic folks yet and have little hope of them solving the probem anyway. I was wondering if any of you that have run into this problem have spoken to iolo and if so, have they acknowleged the issue? Hello Bryan! First of all I'd like to thank you for you work. Since I've tried FS2Crew I can't imagine flying airliner without it. I'd like to know is it possible to implement so, that when the SPKR button on a radio pannel pushed sound goes both to headset and to PC speakers as it is in a real plane? Best regards.

Hi guys, I'm just about to start tearing my hair out, lol! Problem is that when I'm on VATSIM, I can't hear the ATCs over the noise of the 737NGX and the airport envirnonment noise. I know it's probable that my setting up is at fault, but what I would really like to do is have all the background sounds through the speakers and just the FS2Crew and VATSIM through the headphones. At the moment, the engine noise and general airport noise just drowns everything else out! Any advice in setting up my audio to achieve this would be very welcome. Many thanks Foto

Hi all: Purchased the FS2CREW for the PMDG737NGX some time ago and due to fact was sharing computer desk / room with wife was restricted to using the button version. She has now given up the room and moved her computer upstairs giving me sole possession of the downstairs computer room. I am now ready to dive into the voice version of FS2CREW but don't yet have a headset with mic, which brings me to my question...what is everyone using for their headset? Until now I used FsPassengers with Fs2Crew working perfect with Bryan's fix. I purchased VoxAtc and the mini display problem of FSPassengers returned. I tried some changes myself in NGX Panel with no success. Anyone experienced this issue? Is there a solution? Thanks!

Hi I recently purchased f2screw for pmdg 737 ngx. I purchased it from the "Prepar3D" section on the fs2crew website. But all the manuals only give instructions for flight simulator x. I am stuck at the point where I am supposed to "trust" the panel config for the aircraft. When I load the pmdg 737-800 after installing fs2crew, there is no option to "trust" the new panel configuration as was stated in the manuals. I am assuming this is a problem with running on P3D. Can someone please tell me how to update my panel so I can open fs2crew using the click-spot detailed in the manual? Afternoon guys I have been using FS2 Crew PMDG 737 and find it really useful, really improves the experience. However since I have been using the software I can not get the system to move on after the following instruction, landing gear I reply down then it asks for flaps (may be its my response here that is causing the problem as I say "check" what should I say to move forward to "3 greens" The other issue is when I come to secure checklist, nothing happens, it should ask IRS's I should say off etc but I have yet to move this forward. Currently enroute ESSA-EIDW participating in an online event and noticed after takeoff my right hand side main landing gear was not retracted after takeoff and commanding Gear Up. No failure was announced by the FO and looking in the FMC under the failures section it says I have no active failures but still I see the right hand main landing gear in it's down position. Below are a couple of screenshots showing my current situation. Trying to figure out what happened and if it was caused the FS2Crew or the NGX or if it's some weird kind of FSX problem, never seen this before. Any help greatly appreciated!

Hello I am thinking about getting FS2Crew for the NGX, and I had a few questions. First being, does the voice control work with windows 8, or will it only work with vista and 7? Is the FS2Crew: PMDG 737 NGX Special Bundle Pack the cheapest thing I can but to have voice control? Lastly, does FS2Crew affect framerates in any way? I am running a 3.5GHZ intel I5 with 10GB ram and a GT620 with the NGX. Thanks for the help!

Hello, I have recently carried out a FSX uninstall and reinstall- successfully with SDK's also, when I got to FS2 NGX I do not have any options to select my audio headset in config box. I also get a error message 'fs2audio. dll failed to load' I have checked both 32 and 64wow folders and fs2audio is NOT in them. I have had a look at the forum and have tried the suggestions in the manual also but the fact I do not have fs2audio and have upgraded my direct X worries me.... Is this a fs2crew problem? What is fs2audio? I really do not want to reinstall my OS..... I also get an error on closing FSX windows/systems.32/x3audio1-6.dll uncompatable, I dont know if the 2 are r…

Hi! I have been using FS2CREW for a while and everything works fine, however I have noticed something that I think is a bit wierd... probably its just my own lack of knowledge so hopefully someone can explain this... I find it a bit strange that you have to go through the approach briefing BEFORE you start your descent, most of the time you dont get the approach clearance until something like FL180 or similar... How are you supposed to know if you are to expect a STAR och Vectors, what decision height the runway has and so on if you dont know what approach you will be assigned? /Niklas

Hello, I'm using the NGX with FS2Crew voice control since the day it was released, but since some time I am now experiencing problems with it. The problem is that some time into the flight I'm getting an error saying "Fehler: Die Datei konnte nicht gelesen werden" (Once the error showed up in english. It then said "Error: Can't load", but usually it appeared in German). I only have the opportunity to click ok and if I do it will close my FSX. However if I just pull the error message over to my second screen FSX continues to run, but it won't reload scenery anylonger and also parts of my aircraft just grey out in the external view. Hello, I think FS2CREW for the NGX is brilliant however I am wondering if it is possible to add a feature where you can tell the FO how much fuel he should tell the ground crew to load. So for example on turn around on initialization of the second leg the FO will ask how much fuel to load and the amount will gradually rise on the fmc until the target amount was met. Thanks Jacob

Hi, I'm new to this forum and am new to FS2Crew. (I used to use the button control version of the PMDG 744X but didn't use is very often...) I find FS2Crew's voice control really helpful during taxi, climb& approach, and I must say that you took my simming experience to a new level. I however find that there could be one little fun (and real helpful) feature added if it wouldn't be too much work for you? Could you make the F/O monitor the approach profile, speed, etc. during manual approaches? Since you already make him read out the altitudes and approach minimums, how about it? I use an Apple iMac and run FSX in the Bootcamp partition where it is installed into C/FSX rather than into Program Files (x86) However I note FS2Crew for the PMDG 737NGX would be installed by default into Program Files. Should I allow that or should I install into the FSX Folder? Cliff

I have downloaded the 737 sound edition. I am going thru the process of reloading my addons after a clean reinstall of FSX. My copy of raas shows as an addon in the addon drop down after reinstalling but I do not have fs2737 addon showing.. I have it configured the 737 sound version but nothing shows in the addon drop down... Any help is appreciated. Any thoughts? Don Emerson

Hi all, I just purchased the FS2Crew 737 bundle edition, installed it, all went fine... However, when i set everything up, click on remove chocks in the FS2Crew options, my screen goes black like its taken me back to my desktop (or in the middle of taking me back) and then i have to hit control alt delete to get into task manager and need to switch back to FSX. When I finally do get back in, the FSX screen now has a square looking black box on the top left hand side, coveres the FSX menus, and extends half way down the screen. Hello, Bryan I have a question wandering on my mind since I brought FS2Crew for the NGX. I read in the manual I think, that I should always start FS2Crew after the Cold And Dark Panel has been loaded into the NGX. My question is, isn't possible to start FS2Crew with a "Custom" cold and dark panel? You see, before having FS2Crew I used to save the panel state at the end of a flight and load that panel at the start of the next one. It's not a big deal anyway. If no, why is that? FS2Crew was running very well until yesterday. I am not able anymore to open FS2Crew within the VC. The mousepointer does not change when I go to the plate in the VC. I have to go to views, instruments etc. to open it. I installed the trial version of VOXATC, maybe that's the reason. Any help is very much appreciated. Peter

Aloha. I've been toying around with VoxATC here lately. I've set up the soft mute key as instructed in the FS2C docs. My understanding is that it will display an "M" when it's soft muted and a "M+" on a hard mute. If that is right it's not showing the "M" but IS showing the "M+" if I choose hard mute. Any idea on that one? Also, the VC clickspot (the standby HSI) doesn't seem to work. I checked the panel.cfg file and it shows the FS2C gauge under the Third-party window but clicking it doesn't work. hi all first of all,thank you for your last support!very quick and worked awesome here's my problem: when i'm in fsx and flying with ngx and fs2crew running,if i change my tab to desktop,as normal,i will not be able to hear the fsx and fs2crew voice;but when i change the task to fsx,i will be not able to hear the fs2crew voice.when i go to cfg and change the speakers,nothing happens,and i cant hear the test voice.i dont have any problems with other programs such fsx. any solutions for this problem?
