Voice Control Version

After recently installing Pointsoft's PRO, I seem to be not getting a few callouts from fs2crew; notably '80 knots' and 'positive rate'. Just wondering if this might be a result of this recent installation, or is there anywhere I can check to find out in any of the fs2crew files?

Hello! Just out of curiosity, there is a little square symbol just over the red M for mute in the voice control main panel. I think sometimes it blinks or change its look. No problems with it, just want to know :-) and have nothing found on recherches. Thanks,

What is the alt to cold and dark? Because taking over an ac isn't always cold and dark. How can i set my NGX up and FS2Crew to allow this to happen? Cheers

I re-downloaded the New NGX v1.10.6436 full installer to pick up the new updates since there is no incremental installer. This version supports steam and classic FSX and includes the new weather radar if you have Active Sky Next installed. Unfortunately it appears that FS2 is not compatible and I am informed at start up to seek support here at FS2Crew. Anyway, I know it is hard to keep up with all the changes, but do you know if I need to uninstall FS2 and wait until there is a compatible installer for FS2Crew? Please advise, soonest. Joe

I've compared my FCOM preflight flows with FS2Crew and FS2Crew flows don'y go in order of the FCOM? Is there a reason why? Cheers.

Hi! I have been getting a problem lately which I can't seem to fix. For some reason the voice of the FO, or the sound (whatever you find easy to understand) disappears in mid flight. Sometimes it disappears when I'm doing preflight flows. If I run the checklist command, for instance "before start checklist", I can still answer and it will move on to the engine start mode. Same if Im activating "before start procedure" I notice the movements and flows being done, but the sound is long gone. Even I press the Test Sound button on the FS2Crew panel I'm not hearing anything. I've tried pressing Q several times to check if its coming back but no luck. If it happens, I have …

I am using FSX and have successfully loaded FS2Crew but if I try to connect to Vatsim by using FSCoPlilot I get a freeze and screen white out. FSX never recovers itself. What do I nedd to do to connect to Vatsim please?

Hi, I've been having this problem for awhile, and have not found a solution. I am running FS2Crew w/ Voice on the NGX Every flight I have, I have the voice for the preflight procedures and the checklist. I have checked my audio with the audio config in your tool. Everything is great. Up until the point of the the before start procedures. Right there I lose all audio from fs2crew. I run the config tool, and I hear nothing, yet not 2 minutes before it worked fine. The Co-pilot still reconizes my commands, so if I just say "check" a bunch of times the system does go through the procedures and still listens to my commands, I just can't hear what he is saying. I have PMDG 737NGX and have loaded successfully FS2Crew voice but when I try to connect to Vatsim vis FSCopliot I get a freeze and white out screen. Even after 1/2 hour FSX does not re-connect itself. Can anyone tell me please what I need to do? Gordon

Hello, Yesterday i bought fs2crew and i have tested it out for a few flight flights now. Great add-on! But one thing that almost never works is the command "SET HEADING xxx" or "SET COURSE ON MY SIDE XXX" and etc. The green text in the upper screen registers what im saying. Allmost all of the other commands work. I have re-installed fs2crew and i have been looking at the troubleshooting page with no result. So if someone have a solution for this i would be very happy for a solution. Best Regards.

Hi All, I am curious to know if there is a way to get just the copilot & ATC voice in my headphone. I wear a single side headphone with mic boom, and don't like the fact that I also get the engine sounds in my headphones as well. To me that's not realistic. I want the engine and environment sounds comimg from my speakers with the headphone solely for communications. Am I missing a setting? Is this possible? My headphones use a usb connection. I'd appreciate a help with this. Thank you Mark

I'm using a Soundblaster Z soundcard and just recently swapped out my analog speakers for a set of Creative T4 2.1 using the SPDIF/Optical connection. I always use FS2Crew through a separate USB headset for voice and microphone. Today, during my first flight when a hit the hotkey to start FS2Crew, the speaker volume immediayely lowered to a low-mid-level volume that would only increase to a max of a mid-level volume. I'm assuming there is a conflict somewhere. Has anyone experienced this and know of a fix?

Hi, I'm curious, is there a way of preventing the fs2crew first officer from adjusting the right hand displays? Indeed, is it possible to make these scripts execute for the left hand side instead? Furthermore, when the first officer is PF, do the flows continue to be PF/PM based or are the flows altered to reflect the practicalities of the panels eg. The air conditioning panel being of the FO side. Kevin
