Voice Control Version

I have APU set in the CFG and the FO starts the APU after landing. At gate arrival once the brakes are on the the FO advised "Ready for Shutdown", I then turn off the engines. My question is this: Will the aircraft power automatically switch over to APU or do I need to click the bus switches on the overhead to move the power over. If so, when do you actually do this...before engines shut down or after ? Second question: There is an instruction in the manual to release parking brakes after chocks are in. how do you know, the ground crew is not advising that chocks are in ? thanks,

Hi, when passing through 10,000ft the first officer will turn off the fasten seatbelt sign. I was wondering if there is an option to maybe disable this? Sometimes when climbing we are in dense cloud with strong turbulence but he will still turn off the fasten seatbelt sign as per his flows. It distracts from the immersion to have to turn it back on, though it is obviously only a minor thing. Cheers, Adam

I just swapped my old turtle beach headset with a new one today. Z300 and setup the config panel for Z300 but still can't hear any sound from fs2crew. I can hear all other sounds from my pc and fsx Its a wireless headset and using OS7

Hi. your job is great. I bought a fs2crew and installed. Everything is perpect! Fs2crew great! It Works on every Livery. but now have some problem. Some days ago I opened Pmdg operations center they asked something. I didn't understand what does they say therefor I checked repair and then problem occured. Fs2crew works ony pmdg dafault livery. eventhough reinstalled fs2crew. How do I fix this problem.

Hi,I still have problems contacting the Ground Crew. I could only get it to work once, but then never again.I am sure I have setup the communication as it should. Interphone is on and regardless if using FLT or SVC on the left Audio Panel, it will not do.The strange thing is, when I call "Ground from the Cockpit" I always get the respond "Go Ahead" neverless how the communication is set up. But they do not react on any new commands like "We are ready for Pushback"I could never get an responce to the command "Cockpit to Ground" which should do the samething as "Ground from the Cockpit" I think ?!Panel States:, as this question is asked most. I believe I just discovered a bug when it comes to briefing for a bleeds off takeoff, the FO does indeed turn them off however, when running through the after takeoff checklist he confirms them to be on, but never actually switches them back on. -Joanna

After a reinstall of FSX and FS2Crew for the PMDG 737. The manual says to start the PMDG in a 2D view - right? How do I change it back to a VC easily?

Hi guys, it´s my first post in this forum and I have to appologize if I do any mistakes. I searched very much but I didn't find a solution for my Problem (also the other topic with nearly the same title wasnt about the same problem and didnt solve mine). For any reason, my FO does some advices correctly and some not, but always the green message bar is illuminated so that I'm sure that I pronounced correctly and he also understood. For example, I can tell him to switch on the taxi lights and he does very well, but if I tell him to turn them off, the green bar says "select taxi lights off" but there is no voice response and also the switch is not switched off. Same Problem…

I have run into a conflict with FS2CREW for PMDG 737 NGX (using Voice Control) and GSX. I use FS2CREW to run through the preflight checklist. Then at the time of pushback, I select the GSX key mapping (CTRL+ALT+F12). The GSX menu appears and I select the Pushback menu item. Then suddenly GSX shuts down. I have noticed that when I select the CTRL key, the FS2CREW display shows "M+" for Mute. I am using Voice Control so I am unsure why it is using the keyboard or button mappings.

I sure hope someone can help as I am beyond frustrated and over this program. I'll make this simple and quick. Bought and installed fs2crew on 10/9. Install went great followed all instructions. Been using it with no problems all day yesterday and have been loving it. Got home today turned on my FSX only computer, fired up FSX and boom, FS2Crew is not working. I am not receiving any sounds from the test button or from anything. I can hear switches flipping as the first officer does stuff but no voice, and sound test button in the cfg window will not work. Hey just need a bit of help on EXT/AC If i select this and prior to the start procedure i get the FO to turn on the APU now i want to disconnect the EXT/AC but what is the command? If i contact ground and say blah blah you can disconnect the external air and gpu now! But then ground thinks am ready for engine 2 start but am not i only want to disconnect it. Will i need to do it manually and not contact the ground? Also i don't get this why up date it to APU? I haven't been updating it to the APU don't see the difference can someone explain please? Hi all, I have started having a issue where the FO calls the MDH or minimums too early at 1200f. This has happened two flights in a row. I have set the BARO to 400 on both the FS2Crew options and also on the cockpit in the PMDG. The FO seemed a bit buggy on this flight. The first weird thing that happened was BEFORE TAXI where he didn't switch APU OFF BUS to off to extinguish the blue light. Or is it where he left the APU on, I can't remember now, however something wasn't right. I noticed this but I continued the simulation. After few minutt hole fs2crew voice disappear ....it has happend with Q400 and 737NGX...have tryd to turn off and on Voice but not work and have tryd to change to speaker or headsett but not work....but if i restart hole fsx the voice wotk again,,,What can be wrong ? :unsure:

Hello Simmers, Sorry if this issue was already reported, but i was not able to find anything neither here nor on the web. When I make a call to the FA (both from the FA button on the FS2Crew or from the ATTD Call button on the overhead) the ding goes off, and no matter what i do or say, the FA says "Hello!" after the FA button turns off and after the FA acknowledges your command. Hello all I recently started using FS2 crew, and I love it. However, I have one problem. I can't start the approach checklist. Trans altitude is at 4000 in the Netherlands, which is really low. Do I really start the checklist calling and the "announce the altimeter setting" that low? Is that why it didn't work? vkr victor

FS2Crew wants to install on the PMDG NGX version SP1C or later. However PMDG doesnt use nomenclature like that. The current version is 1.00.3219. Is that SP1c or not? And since that's the version I installed of NGX, updated by patches a couple of times through the PMDG Operations Centre, there are no patch downloads any more. So [A] is my version of NGX current enough? I dont want to install a patch downloaded from AVSIM if it downgrades my currently patched and up-to-date NGX. and How do I reinstall the SP1c to get a clean panel.cfg as the installation instructions say. Doh!!!...and I have been grinding my teeth over this one for the last 24 hours! Ever the 'Tweak-Freak' (go on...hold your hands up the lot of you - I KNOW that I am NOT alone!), I had been 'fiddling around' (as you do) and, to my total dismay and disbelief yesterday evening, I suddenly discovered that my PMDG First Officer was either asleep, had 'done a runner' (who could blame him ) or had been stricken down with a severe bout of Laryngitis! I'm currently running these both together, GSX for ground service and FS2crew for push and start but sometimes use GSX pushback feature. But looking forward to the new UGCX My question today is, in the config panel you have the option to select AES, i know GSX also uses this feature but how does it actually work? I've used it with it on and off and seeing no difference? Can someone explain what it does? I know it controls doors but how and what doors compared to it being off?

Hello to all, have been enjoying the voice version of FS2Crew for about a week now. Just wondering if there are any additional voices to the default ones that came with the software? (I have male voices, US/UK/EU). I'd love to have a little more variety in these voice accents, maybe female copilots, etc?

Just purchased FS2Crew for NGX today and just sat at an airport in virtual cockpit of NGX to learn various functions. While all of the selections function as mentioned in the manual, PA window will not close despite clicking on the top right screw or choosing "close window" of the PA window itself. Also, clicking the PA button on the FS2Crew control panel does not help. (Switching views has FS2Crew control panel disappear but the PA screen remains). Any advice please, Kay

Hi all, I have been using PMDG NGX for more than 2 years but without FS2crew. Recently I've become more interested but I would like to know a few things before I purchase. I have hardware setup, CP Flight's MCP, EFIS as well as Throttle quadrant with physical flaps and spoilers(non motorized). Because of this, I would prefer to control autopilot and flaps as captain and not delegate these duties to copilot. On the other hand, I do now own overhead panel hardware, so it maybe fun to have the copilot switch in various items on the overhead. Same goes for gear ups and downs. Hello, My ground dispatcher and ground crew voices have changed unexpectedly. The only thing I have changed on my system was to install FSDream Team's Geneva airport demo. I also run GSX but I don't use the pushback feature. I don't recall anything asking me if I wished to install new voices. Has FSDT over written my files without asking?! Thanks, Luke
