Voice Control Version

I have been using the voice version of FS2 for the PMDG NGX (latest Service Packs for both programmes) for some time and the other day purchased VOXATC which works fine However, unable to load FS2 crew now .... the click spot has gone. If I load the interface from the FSX instrument view drop down menu it looks fine but advises that their is a problem with SDK and unable to use, although the pilot speaks and hears you but it is not interfacing correctly. I have reloaded FS2 using Admin rights a couple of times but same problem exists. Any suggestions as to the next best steps? Using Win7 and as I said, no problems with FS2 up to now. Thanks Mik…

Hello, since I installed the 1.5 version from time to time after you descend checklists I get the message "unable to read file" and I closed FSX losing the flight I'm doing. has happened to anyone else? and how do you do? thanks

I have set "cold weather procedure (y)" in the briefing panel. After the engines started, the FO is doing his after start flow, the FS2Crew panel is in "set to flaps" mode. I speak "leave the flaps up" but nothing happens. I need to manually forward the mode panel to "before taxi". Anyone has the same issue ? Before T/O checklist- FO: flaps? Me: flaps 5 green light...actual flaps are 0...shouldn't FO notice that? Landing checklist- FO gear? Me: down....gear are up...shouldn't FO notice that? I think It's the same for "eng start levers".(I was doing some emergency's, w some systems off, when I noticed that)

I have recently updated to Fs2 Crew Voice version 1.5. I am not sure whether I had this issue previously but I don't remember. It may be something I am doing or not doing but this is definitely very odd. Everything is fine with the voice commands on the NGX737-800. However, several times now, when I am on the approach and give a speed command to lower the speed as in "set speed 150" with the A/T armed and SPEED set, the IAS/MACH indicator flactuates rapidly between 100 and top speed and often remaining at 340. If I manually try to reset it, it would go back to its highest setting or winds down to 100. At that point I would desperately unarm the AT and try and contro…

I have just purchased a new headset-Razor Carcharias which is excellent but upon arrival I found that it has 2 3.5 mm phone jacks and not a USB connector. Now,I understand that with the FS2 Crew voice version it is strongly recommended to use a headphone with a USB connection. Not being that 'techy' I am wondering whether or not I can buy some sort of adaptor with a USB connection into which I can plug the phone jacks. I have been following Peter Wright (Froogle) videos in order to learn more about using FS2 Crew and the PMDG 737 and I noticed that he also uses the Razor Carcharias headphone but in addition has the Asus Xonar U3 headphone adapter. I think I read it somewhere but can't find it now...is it possible to reset FS2Crew to the state it's in before you press the 'RUN PF' button in a quick an easy way?

Hi Bryan, FS2Crew is working great but i'm having this one issue. I have the CPFlight MCP and EFIS as you saw in my video and i'm having problems with the first officer flight director. I allways start my flights in the long turn around panel state and run PF from the FS2Crew menu. I allways wait before turning on the actual FD switches on my MCP until after the first officer has turned them on in the sim. The problem is that every time I turn the FD on for the FO on my physical MCP, it gets turned off in the sim. I usualy have to turn it back off and then on again for it to stick to the on position in the sim. Any idea what is causing this and how it can be fixed…

One confirmation call from the FO I think is missing is a 'Check' when I announce 'Auto throttle OFF' in the same way I will get a confirmation from him when I announce 'Auto pilot OFF'. Any chance this could be added in a future update?

Another thing I would be very happy if you could address in a future update is the ground crew confirmation when the ground power and the external air have been disconnected doesn't work when you're setting up for a second leg. I always use PWR EXT/AC and on the first leg when I speak 'You can disconnect the external air and the GPU now' the ground crew after doing so will speak something like 'The ground power and the external air have been disconnected, you're clear to start engine number two' but this only works on the first leg...on a second leg the ground crew is silent and you'll instead have to manually look for the ground power available light on the o…

Hey guys, first of all, I'd like to thank you very much for that great piece of software. My question is, if the Vistalizator would be really the only way when I don't have an english windows, or Windows Ultimate? I use a german Win7 Home Premium Edition and I've read that the Windows licence can get lost when using Vistalizator because it's not allowed to do that. You have to upgrade to the Ultimate Edition which will cost me 165€. A high price at present. Is there really no other way? Cheers, Guenter

For some reason when I click the centre panel on the 737 aircraft-nothing happens FS2 Crew does not initiate even though it was fine yesterday. I am opening FSX in 2d cockpit. Could anyone throw any light on the possible cause and maybe have a solution. Many thanks in anticipation.

What triggers a through flights?. I tried setting the panel up for short turn and then running the secure aircraft checklist. When i ran PF events the F/O still goes through the first flight of the day flows. In the real world sometimes you receive the aircraft after the last flight crew and we do whats called a receiving aircraft checklist. This is actually just an expanded shutdown checklist. What the departing flight crew does is reset the panel to what it would be on the first flight of the day then hand the plane over to the engineers. The incoming crew runs the receiving aircraft checklist. then starts the normal pref-fight procedures. Why is this not model…

My copilot and I have been flying many many hours together. Today i get the dreaded SDK error. Closed flight simulator, reopened and same error. Shut the computer down and rebooted. start up and same error. this is new for me. I haven't had the problem before and have not added any new software. Ant thoughts? Don Emerson 570TT

I have today downloaded FS2 Crew software and whilst everything works OK the 'voice' button does not activate although if I click it once it does show 'on' for half a second and then vanishes.I also get the verbal message "Warning-unable to initialise SDK please contact FS2 Crew" I would welcome any assistance please.

Hello, I have just brought FS2Crew as I have a couple of mates that own it and have shown me what its like and how to use it. Now I have just installed the new version and have done everything I was meant to do like re-install sp1c and change setting in voice recontion and set it up in 2D Panel but I am still having a major problem. When you start it up you then click on cfg and start preflight nothing happens it just stays as preflight and does not continue to do PF Elec even though you here him say "lets start setting up" I have followed all the manuals and can not find any fix for it. I had a recent need to format my hard drive and reinstall everything. I installed everything in the best order I knew how but when I try to run the PMDG 737 FS2Crew, I end up with something strange. When I start it up, the SDK starts fine, no errors there. When I talk into the microphone, I see the test box at the top show what i am saying. When the Gate agent asks me if it is okay to sart boarding, I reply yes, and the gate agent acknowledges that I spoke to him. But, when the co pilot comes back after the walk around and tells me that he is ready for the checklist, I call for the preflight checklist, I see it in test at the top of the screen, but he does not answer…
